I was looking up Juno/Mars conjunction in solar returns and I ran across this article:

http://www.magiastrology.com/super_sexual_aspects.htm

When I try to look up other articles I only come up with this one or articles and forums referencing this one. Does anyone have any sexual or super sexual placements? Has anyone heard of this?

I have Mars trine Pluto (sexual) and Juno trine Pluto (super sexual) and I might consider myself “Super-Sexual” but I am not a cheater, not at all!

Magi

About the first link above, from magi astrology: well, I thought Juno was Hera. I'm I wrong? It says on this article that Juno shuns responsability, that juno rules sexwithout commitment .... Heummm, really? And Chiron rules love affairs!? The Chiron ruling love affair is something else altogether, but personal I saw Juno as the official wife while Zeus was "courting" the whole world.

So I don't see how magi relates Juno to sex without commitment...

Right Pire - this site goes totally against my belief that Juno=marriage. It says that this is a "new discovery" so, who knows?

Juno reminds me more of a feminine version of Pluto, she strives for intensity and sexual transcendence in her committed relationships.

The real Zeus - Hera relationship is really twisted because Zeus was Hera's brother and he forced her to marry him, so relating Zeus and Hera to your own personal relationships is a little off putting.

I also have Juno trine Pluto and Juno is in Cancer located in my 8th house and conjunct my Pars Fortune. So I guess sexual transcendence is really important to me?

Are you supposed to use a different kind of chart for this? Sidereal, or something? Or can you use a standard tropical natal chart?

Lucia - I went by standard tropical. The chart on Magi looks more like an astrological/biorhythm chart, I don't know what that thing is! (Someone please enlighten me...)

Well, yeah, that is a "speciality" of Magi astrology.

I also wondered why they would relate Juno to infidelity and affairs.

The only possible reason I found is that maybe Juno relates to power (her constant fights with Jupiter), an urge to revenge and punish (usually Jupiter`s lovers), jealousy (which of course can happen in affairs) and passion (in the beginning Jupiter was so passionately drawn to Juno, that he even agreed to marry her, even though he wasn`t really one for marriage; just to get her in his bed).

Still, it doesn`t make COMPLETE sense to see Juno as sign of infidelity.
But I agree that Juno is usually more p assionate and intense than we usually give her credit for.

BTW I have Juno contraparallel Pluto, which is deemed a super sexual aspect in Magi terms, too.
And I am definitely not supersexual

Regarding Juno and Jupiter being siblings, well, that is a common theme in mythology, nothing unususal. I think it shows that between husband and wife there should be several layers of connection, not just sexual or romantic attraction, but also some "family-like" caring.

The fact that Jupiter forced her is very telling, though.
Strangely that also happens in more than one myth.

I just want to point out something.
Magi Society have talked about it too. They don't use mythological archetypes when it comes to insight in how an object works in Astrology. They use empirical data for insight. That's the modern scientific method.

They look at a bunch of charts to see how an object works in the chart.

I have Mars quincunx Juno, and all I can say is that I am passionate when it comes to committed relationships.

With my Mars in Aquarius quincunx Juno in Virgo, my unconventional, humanitarian, detached, intellectual actions are in strain with my perfectionist, discriminating, critical, pragmatic committed relationship approach.

I have Juno quintile Jupiter though. Maybe I need to start tapping into it.

you can check out your Juno aspects here

JUNO ASPECTS INVOLVING MARS AND PLUTO

Mars-Juno Aspects:

Mars conjunct Juno
You believe in being direct and assertive in your partnerships, and you dont avoid confrontation. The issues of equality, fidelity and traditional roles within marriage (or its equivalent) are paramount for you, and you are active in establishing and maintaining these roles in your relationships. Commitment is important to you, and you actively seek it. You expend considerable energy on your partnership, and possibly prefer a partner who is very bold, assertive and independent.

Mars opposed Juno
You feel a dilemma in your life regarding commitment versus independence. It may seem like you have to give up too much of yourself in order to commit to a relationship, and you prefer to avoid committing. You might be under some pressure to take the plunge, and struggle to find a balance that is acceptable to both you and your partner. Either you or your partner resist the compromises that traditional marriage roles require. There could be conflict and power struggles involved.

Mars trine or sextile Juno
You are likely to be a passionate, persistent lover and actively pursue the object of your affection. You know how to woo, how to charm and how to be impulsive and spontaneous. Within committed relationship, you require and allow a high degree of independence and freedom. You are attracted to people who are courageous, forthright and daring. You desire and create a sense of adventure and play in relationship, which keeps it ever vital and exciting.

Mars square Juno
You find it difficult or impossible to make a commitment in relationship, and may pride yourself on being a loner. You probably have low regard for the cultural traditions and roles of marriage. You have some difficult decisions to make regarding relationship choices, and it may feel like an either/or situation, where you must give up the bonds of commitment or else personal freedom. It is possible, with creativity and effort, to find a resolution to the dilemma; a way to include both in your life. If you do this, you will have a remarkably strong and stable relationship.

Mars quintile Juno
You are a genius at keeping the magic in a relationship, by being playful, imaginative, dramatic and always a bit surprising. You love creativity, spontaneity and impulsiveness in relationship. You also are drawn to being, or being with, the gentle warrior archetype: The courageous and visionary one who is willing to sacrifice personal comfort and even safety if necessary for a higher purpose, yet who honors all life and does no harm.

Mars septile Juno
You are very likely to be in a relationship that feels destined. There seems to be an invisible force drawing you together, and you will follow that intuition regardless of social opposition or even personal cost. There is a passionate, magnetic quality to the attraction, and it could become somewhat of an obsession. Jealousy could become a problem.

Mars quincunx Juno
You may believe you want marriage (or commitment) but somehow dont make it happen when the opportunities arise. You may fail to take the necessary action and/or initiative; or you may feel that relationship is not in your best interest, however much you may desire it emotionally. It might be a case of being attracted to people who are not available for the type of relationship you want. You are drawn to dynamic, free and untamed people, who are typically not interested in the rules and trappings of social traditions. Though you may actively pursue it, there is some paradox in the way commitment and your ideal of a permanent relationship tend to elude you.
http://members.wizzards.net/~magyan/Mars_Aspects.html

Juno-Pluto aspects:

Pluto conjunct Juno
Marriage for you is deeply entwined with issues of power, and the struggle for power within your relationships could be ongoing and intense. Perhaps you are attracted or committed to someone who wields considerable power or is obsessive, possessive or intense. The need for transformation and self-empowerment is profound and can be the basis for growth and exploration of the deepest psychological areas. The ideal is equality and personal empowerment; if you can achieve this your commitment and depth of intimacy will be legendary. Your marriage might go beyond the boundaries of social taboos.

Pluto opposed Juno
There is a major power issue within your committed relationships that could become very destructive if it is not dealt with openly and honestly. Sexual obsessions, possessiveness or abuses of power may be core issues, and equality is at stake. One or both of you may attempt to usurp the others power, or be overly watchful of offenses by the other. In either case, intimacy is undermined and conflicts and resentments will arise, unless you are able to recognize and honor both the need for self-empowerment and transformation and the need for intimacy. Both are essential to your mutual fulfillment, and in recognizing this you will deepen and enrich your emotional bond.

Pluto trine or sextile Juno
You instinctively understand how to make and keep your intimate involvements intense and dynamic. You may be, and/or also be attracted to, someone with a lot of intensity and personal power. That can translate into physical, financial, social or charismatic power. You seek passion and depth in relationship, and you gravitate to those who can handle the heat. Together you can be a force to be reckoned with.

Pluto square Juno
You will probably have intense relationships in which you get locked into power struggles, possibly through obsessive jealousy on the part of one or both partners. Money and sex may also be core issues over which power struggles arise. One or both of you probably thrive on passion and intense experiences, and it will take careful handling to avoid falling into some very destructive conflicts. If you can allow for passionate intensity, vulnerability and equally shared power, you can have a marriage of great depth and beauty. It may be a stormy journey, with many difficult decisions and choices. This can take you to great heights or depths, depending on your choices.

Pluto quintile Juno
You are highly talented at the art of keeping excitement, magic and intensity in your relationship. There could be power struggles, but you can be creative in adapting and reinterpreting traditional roles to work for you as you learn to create your intimate life together. Free flow of emotional expression is crucial to this relationship, because if there is a buildup of resentment from stuffing feelings, the eruption could be disastrous. Keeping it romantic, fun and surprising will be your key; yes, and also passionate.

Pluto septile Juno
Destiny seems to dictate your relationship choice. There might be a soul recognition when you meet, or you simply know you are meant to be together. There seems to be a higher reason for your union, and although you may never consciously know it fully, you are nevertheless certain of your commitment to it. You might share a realization of a guiding spiritual force in your lives, shaping your decisions and directing your learning. Your relationship is probably very passionate and intense, and based on total unconditional commitment.

Pluto quincunx Juno
You may experience a paradox within your committed relationship over the issues of power and passion. There can be a tendency to be unable somehow to comfortably combine traditional marriage roles and intense, emotional bonding. This may seem to be a riddle for you to solve. The issues of equality and propriety versus depth of intimacy can be sources of incompatibility. There may be trust issues if one exposes the others secrets or vulnerability, or if either of you holds back secrets while expecting full disclosure of the other. Your sincere efforts to bridge these gaps may seem less than lasting and satisfactory, but not without rewards. The journey will require many adjustments, but you will grow and expand through the effort.

I have a slight problem with their "scientific" methods.
How do they know that i`t`s exactly Juno that is responsible for the infidelity of the investigated people?
Maybe I could believe it some more, if they were a bit more transparent about their methods.

But as it is now it reminds me a little bit of an old story I heard, in which scientists observed that in those years when more storks than usual started nesting near a certain city, at the same time the number of children, who fell sick with Leucemia, increased.

So they concluded, that the storks are triggering leucemia in children.

Only later it became known that there was also a nuclear power station being built at the same time.

EDIT:
Of course that is a problem with all scientific investigations, especially in astrology. There is so much going on simultaneiously, that it gets difficult singling one factor out.

DD,

I am with you.

I am skeptical of their scientific methods when it comes to Astrology.

There can be other things that could account for things that they attribute to a certain object.

For instance, the transneptunian objects could possibily account for things. I think Eris will end up being a very important object in Astrology after years of study.
I do think that some things that are considered Uranian seem to belong to Eris. I think that some things of Jupiter.

you remember I wrote a post about that transneptunian objects besides Pluto could account for events that were about intensity, transformation. I had written about how other transneptunians were the transformers in my life and not Pluto.

I have Venus trine the transneptunian plutino Orcus. with its astronomical similarities with Pluto, it should have astrological similarities with Pluto. It's named after the Roman God of Death...some say of Etruscan origin.
I feel that I can strongly relate to Venus trine Pluto interpretation.

Venus-Orcus,Mars-Orcus could be sexual aspects

Ixion is a transneptunian plutino like Orcus, and so it also has astronomical similarities with Pluto, and so could have astrological similarities.

Ixion was known for his lust in Greek mythology...he wanted to have sex with Hera, and ended up having sex with a fake Hera that Zeus made to test Ixion. That led to the creation of the Centaur race that has no relation to Chiron who was the son of Cronus.

Venus-Ixion,Mars-Ixion might actually be more sexual aspects than Venus-Pluto,Mars-Pluto aspects

I don't think Juno has anything to do with sex at all. I strongly disagree with the Magi. An aspect involving Mars,Pluto,Ixion with Juno, could make Juno more sexual.
with Venus, Juno could be more sensual.

Juno-Chiron aspects:

Chiron conjunct Juno
Your most essential wounding and therefore your path of healing and initiation are inextricably bound up with your beliefs about relationship and commitment. You may find it necessary to reshape and redefine your understanding of the marriage bond. You probably seek a union made in heaven, one with a spiritual dimension. You find the keys to personal healing through the mirror of relationship, and for you it may include initiatory journeys into expanded perceptions. You may ultimately discover keys to understanding that can be shared with others.

Chiron opposed Juno
You experience a polarity between your personal journey of healing and spiritual awakening versus the desire for a traditional marriage relationship within the boundaries of social and cultural requirements. It may seem that marriage holds you back from exploring expanded ideas of wholeness and relatedness that hold out the hope of liberation. Or conversely, it might seem that your healing (or that of your partner) threatens your committed relationship. You are challenged to find a balance which makes room in your life for the fulfillment of both needs, otherwise you may experience this as tension which undermines your most intimate bond.

Chiron trine or sextile Juno
Your path of initiation and healing is enhanced and enriched by your marriage commitment, and vice versa. You have an easy ability to work and grow together into an expanded spiritual understanding that reveals potent keys for mutual healing. You can share these discoveries with others who are seeking to grow through relationship. Ultimately you may become a counselor or role model for many.

Chiron square Juno
You have some difficult choices to make regarding personal growth and healing versus the demands and trappings of a marriage commitment. You may find that in opening to unconventional ideas of healing and the nature of reality, your spiritual perceptions are at cross-purposes to your commitment to a traditional relationship. There is a temptation to see the situation in either/or terms, but it is important to realize the two are not mutually exclusive. It is possible to create a life that includes both relationship commitment and personal unfoldment. This may not be easy to achieve, but the effort will deepen and strengthen your marriage and life.

Chiron quintile Juno
You have an innate understanding of how to effect healing within relationships. You might be an excellent relationship counselor, or you may just be a role model for others who are struggling to achieve balance and harmony in their relationships. You are gifted at keeping romance, excitement and personal growth alive within a traditional marriage.

Chiron septile Juno
Your marriage seems to be shaped by destiny. Yours is a marriage of soul mates, and you are often aware of divine intervention in your shared journey. You may feel there is some cosmic or karmic reason why you are together, and it is a journey of healing and awakening. You may work together in some healing profession (probably of a holistic nature) or simply be inspired to journey together into expanded consciousness.

Chiron quincunx Juno
You may find that your spiritual journey of initiation and healing are incompatible with the demands of a traditional marriage commitment. Though you may desire both, there is some sense of paradox, or a riddle to be solved in order to integrate both harmoniously into your life. Efforts to bridge the gap between them may be frustrating, as the results often end in futility. It is important not to give up, as the effort itself is enriching and adds to your understanding and personal healing. It could be necessary to redefine the nature of your relationship commitment in the interest of growth and healing.

Raymond,

that is very interesting about Orcus and Ixion. But since they are Trans-Pluto, the orb would have to be very narrow, no?
about one degree?

I think 1 degree is too narrow. I would use that orb for small transneptunians.

Pluto is also a transneptunian, and astrologers use up to 8 degrees....Liz Greene even uses 10.

3 degree orbs would work for big transneptunians like Orcus and Ixion. They are dwarf planet candidates which means that they might join Pluto as dwarf planets. Only Pluto,Eris,Ceres,Makemake, and Haumea are classed as dwarf planets. Ceres is the only dwarf planet that is not a transneptunian.

both Ixion and Orcus are only a year apart from Pluto in regards to orbital period. As plutinos, they have 2:3 motion resonance with Neptune just like Pluto.
They are not transplutonians.

classical kuiper belt objects called cubewanos are transplutonians. Makemake is one.

so are scattered disk objects like Eris
oort cloud object,Sedna

Haumea is a transplutonian too.

Eris is a transplutonian, and it's larger than Pluto. I can't see using a 1 degree orb for it. 3 degree orbs could be used for it. the same with Sedna which is also a transplutonian.

in synastry, the orbs should be very narrow......less than 1 degree. because they are so generational in their influence.
I feel the same with transits too.

I use a 3 degree orb for the centaurs. synastry,I'd use 1 to 2 degree orbs.....depending on the orbit of the centaur.

the chiron juno conjunction in CAC's is an indicator of long term relationship. it cannot be classified as a chiron or a juno aspect so therefore it neither supports marriage nor hinders marriage potential it is listed as a long term aspect.

Oh MyVirgoMask, so not true! I saw your picture, you have to be sexy.

At least you don't have Juno conjunct Saturn. How much more unsexy can you get?

At least I have "female super sexual aspect" of Venus trine Mars and "girl who just wants to have fun" aspect of Venus square Uranus. That first article posted was pretty weird.

Also I guess Mars quintile Pluto would be a "super sexual" one too? I was reading an article on the quintile once. I was like, "oh sweet I have that with mars and pluto!" and it goes: "In the natal chart, the planets involved in the Quintile aspect often describe personal talents and qualities for which we become known – Hitler had a Mars-Pluto Quintile; Marilyn Monroe had a Venus-Neptune Quintile."

WELL THEN

also amowls your spite makes me giggle.
