As for men, I am/have been friends with lots of:

Virgos – we can make snarky comments about things.
Scorpios – we argue a lot, yet we still remain friends.
Pisces – they actually bring the snark too, maybe even more than Virgo.

I think with all three this is because we aren’t attracted to each other. I have lots of fire and air - these guys would find me obnoxious to date, I know the type of ladies they like and I am not it. I prefer men who can be just as unpredictable and obnoxious. This makes it easy for us to continue being friends and there is no weird sexual tension.

As for women:

Aries – my extended family is made up of mostly Aries women
Virgos – “frenemies” who were attached at the hip. Great sense of humor but we have had very unhealthy, toxic friendships.
Sagittarius and Gemini – fun and easy to hang out with. We can not talk for months and then pick up where we left off with ease, I like that.

I think that Virgos love to hate me (lol) and I used to love to add fuel to that fire. It was very unhealthy. Saturn is in Virgo in my 8th, I think I have learned my lesson! I can always be crazy with Aries, Gemini and Sag and it is just a normal day with them!

My Mother, two brothers, and some exes are Virgos. Man, there is nothing funnier than a virgo, most of the time. I like sarcastic, dry wit, and they come packing. Their eyes almost twinkle with merriment, that is how I usually pick them out. They are also very generous people, and very loving to their family and friends.

It has occured to me in a (doh!) moment, since coming to this board that I have dated almost exclusively, scorpio and virgo, because that is what my parents are! Which was kind of an ewww moment, psychologically, but whatever. It is what it is. Maybe karma, I don't know.

I also like capricorns alot. They calm me with their steadiness, and make me feel safe and protected. They are surprisingly funny when you get to know them, which can take a loooonnnnnggggg time. It is worth it though, because they will always be with you, once you earn their trust.

It's almost laughable how the people I take a liking to and get friendly with often end up being born of this sign. Sun. If they're not, quite often they have this is as their Moon sign.

Aquas are... well, they feel like my 'tribe'. I was raised by 2 head-strong Aqua women, and my stepfather, an Aqua, is the best man I know, second only to my (Aquarius) brother

I do have my Jupiter in Aquarius, and Aqua 11th house cusp. Part of my 4th house is Leo, and I have Leo on the 5th house cusp.

My bestest friends have been Libras. Sagittarius have been consistently nice. Aquarius, consistently problematic.

my dad is aqua, my mom libra. most of my friends and people i admire are aquas - could be that uranus, ruler of my asc, already positioned quite strongly in my horoscope attracts all the aquas to my life ))))

when it comes to love & friendship, the earth people triumph. my brother is cappy, and so is my boyfriend, few of my best friends virgos, and i love tauruses (few exes were tauruses and virgos).

grandma that i love is cap with a bunch of planets in aqua and libra moon

My best friend is pisces sun scorp moon
Other friends are scorp sun leo moon
Gem sun and moon
Virgo sun scorp moon

Im attracted by feminine signs, having myself venus, mercury, mars, jupiter, saturn, ic/mc axis in virgo/pisces. But my close family is mainly female with masculine planets.

Overall, if i have to pick one element, it would be water, and one sign, scorpio

First best friend, Scorpio. Second best friend, Scorpio. First crush, Scorpio. First lover, Scorpio. Stepdad, Scorpio. Mother, Scorpio Ascendant. Sister, Scorpio Moon. Sister in law, Scorpio. Closest cousin, Scorpio Venus conj Pluto. Only nephew, Scorpio. Roommate that ruined my life, Scorpio, her son, Scorpio. These are only the people I know about. Scorpios seem to initiate some kind of new relationship experience... often dramatic and life changing. I do have vertex conjunct pluto in scorpio so maybe that is why.

Female friends: Mostly fiery types - one Aries, and a whole row of Sagittarian Ladies. Easy to explain, astrologically: My Moon (feminine traits) is in Sagittarius. It is prominently placed in my 1st house of personality - and Moon is the ruler of my Cancer-Sun, therefore plays an extra special role in my astrological make-up. My mother also is a Sagittarian lady. So ... not deliberately, but almost always: I make friends with Sagittarian women most easily.

Male friends AND (!) lovers: Leo! 3 out of 4 serious relationships have been with Leos, my brother is a Leo too, and several of my closest male friends. Well, I understand them well and we share the same kind of humour and (mental) generosity - since my own Mercury is in Leo - and Mercury the ruler of my MC (in Virgo), so quite important in my chart. Actually, Leos and I, I guess we find each other really ... entertaining. Benevolent, easy going companionship, it's a comrad-kind-of-thing. playful, respectful. As for the "erotic" factor with some of the Leos: Several "sexy" Midpoints are in Leo in my chart, Venus/Mars and Sun/Eros for example, also Part of Marriage and several others.

I don't know why, but I just kind of naturally become friends with Virgo and Scorpio people. However, I find it much easier to stay friends with Virgos. Virgos are #1 by a very wide margin, I know so many of them it seems. Scorpio people can be a lot of work, especially if they have a stellium in the sign. Taurus people are great to talk to. I just love Taurus placements in general.

Capricorn and Aquarius are to a slightly lesser extent, but I've known and liked quite a few of them. Most of the Capricorn people that I've known were really fun, far from those lame boring "Capricorn people are all about business...blah blah blah bs description". And Aquarius people are just fun. They make good friends and most of them will also argue with me (I love to argue about pretty much anything).

My two best friends in middle school were both Cancers, my best friend in high school/now is a Pisces, and two other current close friends of mine are Scorpio and Cancer.

Most of my good friends have Sag AC.

Libras and Sag friends are always good to pick up right where we left off, even if we haven't seen each other for a long time.

Two of my close friends are Libras with Sag AC, one friend is Aqua with Sag AC, and another is Aqua with Sag Moon. My husband is Leo with Sag AC.

All of my Sag AC/Moon friends and I can laugh really hard together, whether they're Libras, Aquas, or my Leo husband.

I'm not sure why I end up with Libra and Aqua friends, except for maybe my Aqua Mercury and fire placements. I have Leo AC, Aries Venus, and Sag NN/Neptune. Other than that, the only air I have is my generational Libra Pluto, and a Gemini SN (and the Aqua Mercury, which is conjunct my DC).

They're fun to be around, and we get each other's sense of humor. Our conversations are never shallow, but we laugh a lot.

I had a ton of Virgo friends that I was really close to for many years, but I noticed that eventually I would feel as though they had a holier than thou attitude about whatever towards me, and we just drifted apart or I simply ditched the friendship because it was exasperating.
They all had a ton of Leo placements, and they were kind of self-absorbed, arrogant people and it started to irritate me after a while.

But I still often really like Virgos. I have a Virgo Moon and Capricorn Mars, so we often match up on that level. My husband's step-mom is a Virgo, and I really enjoy her company. His mom is also a Virgo (with a ton of Leo placements) and I can't stand to be around her for more than about five minutes. I've never met anyone so effing vain and competitive in my life (end rant).
My grandma was a Virgo, and my youngest brother, and I was/am really close to both of them.
