http://www.zodiacarts.com/whatsup/LunarEclipse.shtml A lunar eclipse is a time of beginnings, endings, exposure and major changes. It always has something to do with "relationships". The changes are tied to how we relate and will have a lasting impression. Emotions run high, causing upsets and feelings of disorientation. Actions taken often do not have the expected results, but they do bring awareness and enlightenment. The energy of an eclipse is at its strongest during the two days before and three days after its occurrence. At lunar eclipses we: merge, unite, announce, contact, present ourselves, bring something out into the open, make decisions, engage, rise to the challenge, make an effort, change, get a new perspective, join with others, take on greater challenges, travel at a faster pace, feel restless, feel pressured by deadlines and a buildup of emotions, and experience excitement and crisis. During a Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are in opposition, also called the Full Phase, indicating the linking of soul to spirit and awareness of purpose gained through relationship with another. A lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon. The blocking of the Moon's reflection of the Sun's light by the Earth suggests that our material viewpoint stands in the way of our "seeing the light". It serves as a reminder that we need to realize how we are held in the dark by virtue of our perspective. The Sun is in Leo and the Moon is in Aquarius during the prenumbral lunar eclipse on August 5. The mind's, group's or organization's desire for reform is out of balance with the individual's need for self-actualization. Rebellious behavior and "crowd mentality" can block imaginative solutions. The challenge is to stay open to creative inspiration while honoring civic responsibilities. Sabian Degree Symbols For This Lunar Eclipse Sun: "A Human Soul Seeking Opportunities For Outer Manifestation." Moon: "A Train Entering A Tunnel." The Sabian degree symbols for this eclipse suggest that this time calls for persistance and implies the need to listen to one's inner voice. The individual, inspired with a vision of what can be accomplished can accelerate social progress through an exercise of will. The challenge is to stay focused on expediency without sacrificing common sense. Events associated with this eclipse had their origin in February 2008, were triggered into action last November and will resurface for completion beginning in April 2010. The last times a lunar eclipse occurred at this degree were the summers of 1990, 1971 and 1952. A review of your life experiences around those years may provide clues to how you will experience this eclipse. The eclipse does not have to fall in your sign for you to feel its effects. However, if your birthday is around Jan 3, Feb 2, Mar 3 or 18, Apr 2, May 3, Jun 3 or 19, Jul 5, Aug 5, Sep 5 or 21, Oct 6, Nov 5, Dec 5 or 20, you will definitely have an emotional response. If it makes any contacts to a planet or personal point in your chart, your experience of the eclipse will be heightened. Consult with an astrologer for a personalized discussion of the energies activated in your chart. IP: Logged |

The lunar eclipse in 13'43 Aquarius will conjunct my Vertex in 14'58 Aquarius in 5th,oppose my Ceres in 13'57 Leo in 11th,trine my Uranus in 15'17 Libra in 2nd,and sextile my retro Eris in 12'14 Aries in 8th I also want to point out that the lunar eclipse will trine the heliocentric Uranus Nodes in 14'03 Gemini/Sagittarius Therefore, adding to the progressiveness, change, innovation, awakening, the unconventional that eclipse indicates with its Moon in Aquarius.
I also want to point out that the lunar nodes (true) in 0'15 Aquarius/Leo and (mean) in 29'28 Capricorn/Cancer. In Vedic Astrology, it is said that Rahu/Ketu (the lunar nodal axis) figures into eclipses. people whose planets, points that are aspected by conjunction/opposition by the transiting lunar nodes might be effected by the eclipse too. The Vedic Astrologers would definitely say that is so. The Moon/Node midpoint (using mean node) is in 6'35 Aquarius, (using true node) in 6'59 Aquarius
so people with planets, points in conjunction, opposition, square those degrees within 1 degree orb, could be strongly effected by the lunar eclipse. also declinations factor into eclipses Sun and Moon are always in opposition and contraparallel during a lunar eclipse
Sun will be 16'42 North Moon will be 15'31 South the lunar eclipse moon will be parallel my Mars in 15'12 South, and it will be parallel my Vertex in 16'20 South. Therefore, the lunar eclipse moon will occult (conjunct/parallel) my Vertex. another thingPluto's fellow transneptunians will figure into the eclipse Pluto's fellow dwarf planet/Plutoid, Haumea will be in 14'42 Libra, and so the lunar eclipse will be trine that. the plutino, Ixion will be in 13'48 Sagittarius Retrograde, and so the lunar eclipse will sextile Ixion with only 5 minutes of arc. info on Haumea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haumea_(dwarf_planet) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haumea_(mythology) Orbital Period: 285.31 yr., with two moons, Hi'iaka and Namaka., 3rd brightest KBO (Pluto #1), orbital period w/Moon about 3.9 hours, cigar shaped object because of fast rotational period, 1200 km diameter? Philip Sedgwick says that the transneptunians are intensified evolutionary objects.
Transiting Haumea is conjuncting my Uranus in 15'17 Libra in 2nd and sextiling my Ceres in 13'57 Leo in 11th. Transiting Ixion is trining my Ceres and squaring my Ascendant in 13'27 Virgo. Therefore, they are figuring prominently in my life now and will effect me during the eclipse. Raymond

Yes, Kata, I definiely felt this one, especially since it somehow coincides with me having to leave London and go home. The strange thing is I almost feel like I am going into exile. How irrational and emotional!Another friend of mine with Sun on 15 Aquarius and Saturn on 11 Aquarius and Mars on 14 leo and Neptune on 14 Scorpio, has had heart fibrallations (sp) for almost two days. Of course i did not tell her, but I was really worried for her during this ecclipse. IP: Logged |

You know, I didn't really feel much for the last two eclipses, even though they landed on my sun and my mars. Some weirdo stuff happened I suppose, I met two cancers and then we parted, a lot of unsual energy, but it was very brief. This one is on my MC exactly. We'll see. IP: Logged |

I'll be holding onto my hat. I think yesterday's Venus/Pluto opposition may have opened an honesty box with my partner today. So the eclipse may bring the possibility of a make or break situation. This will be really interesting as my birthday is 2 days after. I'm hoping it's all for the good. IP: Logged |

The effects of an eclipse are not always visible on the days surrounding the actual date of the eclipse. Sometimes you feel them after a few weeks or even within a few months, especially with lunar eclipses. The key is to be aware that changes are coming but not to the point of obsessing too much that you turn your fears into self-fulfilling prophecies. If you want something good to happen, focus on them and not on their opposite.IP: Logged |

I'm a Leo Sun and my Moon is at 13'52 Aquarius. I've been very on edge lately. I feel like somethings coming and I'm not sure what. I've also been having some VERY late nights due to insomnia. It's 5am now and I don't think I'm going to be getting to bed soon. I don't think I'm looking forward to this. :-/IP: Logged |

Me either, Lara...but nothing bad, either. Which is kind of good, when you think about it. Although this eclipse will be in Leo/Aqua and the others were in Cancer/Capricorn, it will STILL be in my 1st/7th houses like the other two. Since the "story" of the other two eclipses was that I have no love life, I'm guessing that the thrilling, heart-stopping conclusion of the eclipse cycle will be (drumroll please) that I have no love life. A Leo with no love life is like an unemployed Capricorn, people, or an Aries who always loses. IP: Logged |
