Do eclipses affect animals? My Beagle was yelping and crying and rubbing his stomach on the ground. I think now he has a stomach ache. He is a virgo doggie. His birthday is September 12, 2007.

Of course.

Though I don't know if the eclipse has any direct affect on him unless he has a planet conjunct or opposite the eclipse point within 2 degrees.

If he is still doing it you might want to take him to the vet.

I agree...if it was my baby I'd take him to the vet right away. I looked it up and it could be that his intestines are inflamed. A symptom is that they rub their bellies on the floor for relief. If they aren't treated, it's fatal. I wouldn't take a chance.

Good luck and keep us posted!

I gave him a half of a Pepto pill and a small teaspoon of Maalox and his gas seems to be easing off some. If he gets worse I will take him to the Vet.

Yeah, I didn't want to scare her, but this happened to my cat and I took it to the vet and they said if I hadn't she would've died because her bladder was about to rupture.

Just keep an eye on him/her. A call to the vet wouldn't hurt. They can tell you what to watch out for...
