As far as I know everyone lies, I've been lied to several times, I've lied when I felt the truth would hurt.(Pisces Moon 2nd/3rd house)But my biggest problem is excuses, I make a lot of excuses.. Probably due to the Mercury/Jupiter conjuction which squares Pluto. IP: Logged |

My friend has Neptune in the first conjunct ASC and he is prone to exaggeration. He doesn't TRY to tell lies, though.Another friend of mine willingly lies if it gets him what he wants (he is also secretive... Scorpio Rising, Pluto conjunct ASC). He has Mercury in Pisces in the 4th. IP: Logged |

Aries/Libra axis in conjunction with Neptune (7s, 16s birthday #s) influences.Moon in Aries is my personal worst offender. Also birthday #s 6, 15. More than anything I find these people intensely secretive. IP: Logged |

HEY my Neptune is conjunct ASC too but i don't lie nor exaggerate! for a real long time i had a big problem socially cuz i could not make a single false statement and always had to tell the blatant truth. but then it's my Sagi stellium... getting better at taking the middle ground and keep something untold.IP: Logged |

Moon in Aries? Why? O_o Without counting the other aspects of the chart, Aries Mooners can be quite honest and direct with their feelings/emotions.My Neptune (DC ruler) is in the 5th house, squaring my Sun and trining my AC and Mars (9th house). I do lie white lies and make excuses, and I can be quite good at persuading if I want to, but I'm quite honest and I do value sincerity. Being very Aries is one of the reasons, and my Pisces DC idealizes relationships to be perfect - beautiful with no lies. IP: Logged |

Jupiter has to do with your sense of morals, justice, and truth. I think hard aspects involving the Moon and Neptune to Jupiter would then influence you to bend the truth because those planets are pretty subjective-- the moon because of emotionalism and neptune because of a kind of romantic sense of illusion. House positions might hint at what you lie about and why. IP: Logged |

While everyone lies once in a while, what I have noticed is that people who tend to lie excessively and unnecessarily have hard aspects involving Jupiter and/or Neptune to their sun or mercury. IP: Logged |

staborgi, i think that could be quite credible.everyone lies, all for different motives. some people how ever lie consistently about certain things. i usually lie about things that don't really matter, but don't want others knowing, why? because what people don't know is my advantage and thats how i look at it. theres a right time for people to know, and i fear that if people know everything about whats going on in my life, they are in the position to interfere, this is especially the case in my love and social life. i have lied before to stop me pride/ego being bruised, but usually i won't do this. i have a t-square beetween jupiter, moon and neptune. saturn in the 5th house, 7th degree capricorn. > square my moon which is in aries 8th degree, 9th house. and my saturn opposes jupiter which is at the 3rd degree of cancer in the 11th house which also squares my moon. these 4 are actually part of a grand square with venus in libra 2nd degree in the 3rd house, which squares jupiter and saturn as well. the 5th and 11th house make sense with my social and love life. 9th house, education? have a lied about anything to do with my education.. Yeh, in school i didn't do well, and my family is kind of 'proud' and would really look down on me if they knew. so i told them my results were something other than what i actually got, but only if they asked me. i never tell anyone else about my results, if they ask i refuse to tell them. if i trust some one 100%, I'll tell them everything honestly. there is only one friend in my life who has this. my moon squares neptune/saturn, opposes moon, square jupiter. same goes for my venus except that squares uranus too. my neptune squaress all of these planets as well.

Better straightforward than using indirect ways to have one's emotional needs known. ^_~; As long as one's not being selfish of course.Aries can be self-centered, but being self-centered isn't the same as being selfish. gosh hate to say it but sun/mercury square neptune is pretty strong in a friend's chart and really she just can't help herself, you can somewhat tell by the tone in her voice because it changes, it's just frustrating - of course this is a classic indicator but doesn't apply to allin relation look at a composite heavy neptune-sun, mercury, moon influence, also h12 influence for possible deceit, delusion. really i saw this in one of mine at the beginning and knowing what i know to be suspect, etc. i still had the wool pulled over my eyes and enjoyed every minute of it.... lol anyone who says they don't lie is a liar :PSaying that... I tend to uphold the truth as much as I can, even if it may not make the situation feel very comfortable...I'm very direct and straightforward (Merc Aries) - though I'm learning (slowly) that it's sometimes better to say nothing at all
My Neptune only trines Mercury and sextiles Pluto .. so no hard aspects. (Does house placement have something to do with it? Neptune is in 11th for me)
Moon has 5 deg square with Jupiter. My ex who lied to me all the time so he didn't have to deal with the consequences of telling me the truth "because it would hurt me" - his justification when I always found out the truth lol - has his Sun in Pisces.
Neptune (7th house)
opposition ASC
square Sun
square NN
(so his NN, ASC, Pisces Sun and Neptune form a big square)
Moon opposition Venus
We are still dear friends though and trust him with my life - even if he does lie (and I know him so well that I can always tell too lol) My other ex who I knew lied to me but for some reason I let it slide ... (and he lied about things like whether he was home or not, whether he called me or not (he always said he called/sent txt msgs but they would never appear on my phone so he would say my phone was broken! etc) and is very secretive!)
Neptune (7th house)

Moon square Mercury AND ASC My best friend doesn't lie to me (but she can tell white lies) and now I've just looked up her chart - she has no hard Neptune (1st house) aspects (only sextile Pluto)!

My other friend who I know can lie in his relationships / be secretive (only about certain things) but is generally upfront and honest has:
Neptune (3rd house)

square Vertex (if that counts?)
