Wondering if anyone has any politically active parents? specially mothers. What is your moon sign and aspects/house? I dont mean necessarily in a job that is political but just political in general, but career in politics would be interesting too...

anyway

in her younger yrs, 20s/30s specifically, helped win votes in texas for her party among the latino crowd, she worked on a few campaigns, worked in washington, was friends with the treasurer, then later she got married and settled in california working in local bureaucracy and taught women on welfare new skills in technology, mainly computers, this was before the whole internet boom. so pretty active in the political/government sense one way or the other.

surprise surprise my moon's in capricorn, h6, conj venus (2), tight square to pluto (1).

what aspects are you thinking of for this?

Naomi Klein says both her parents were politically active, 60s & 70s, similar to the stuff she does. She has moon in Gemini.

My mom's a historian, and because of that she know's everything about wars/politics. She's got Cappy moon opp. Gemini Uranus, moon square mars.

I'm very interested in history & politics myself and often incorporate those themes in filmaking. I have Cappy moon 4H. squaring Pluto in 1H.

I also know a famous director who's a major political activist....he's got a huge cappy stellium.

My dad works for the State Department. He used to work for a Congressman on the Foreign Affairs committee and before that he was an international civil servant and worked for the UN.

My dad's dad was heavily involved in politics, but he never held office (he advised officials in foreign affairs). He actually would've worked for the Reagan administration if he didn't die suddenly of a heart attack in 1980. At that time he was the Dean of Graduate Studies at Georgetown.

My mom works for a USAID sponsored non profit organization that trains people in other countries how to successfully run a democratic government. They also watch elections to gauge whether they are corrupt or not.

They are both Republicans. I'm decidedly not lol.

My mom is a Pisces Sun in the 12th, Aquarius Moon in the 11th, Pisces Rising with Neptune in Libra in her 8th.

My dad is a Taurus Sun in the 5th, Sag Moon in the 12th and Sag Rising with Jupiter in Cancer in 7th.

I'm politically active I guess too. I volunteer for NARAL and I've been an intern at my mom's office several times, and I've volunteered for a few campaigns. I am an Aquarius Sun in 9th, Libra Moon in 5th, Gemini Rising with Mercury in Aqua in 9th.

my mom was a super young (16-17, i think) political activist around the 1968 years, among others who were a bit older than she was, up till her university years. now she's a complete opposite, what time can do it's incredible.

my moon in Aries in the Pisces ruled 4th house.

I do have two family members that have been heavily involved in politics on both the state and national levels, but not my mother. My mother is perhaps the most apolitical person that I've ever met.

I have Moon in Sagittarius in the Third House, square Venus in Pisces in the Sixth, and quincunx Jupiter in Cancer in the Tenth.

actually thanks for reminding me, totally forgot about my grandma. My mom's mom, in the 1930's war era, during japanese occupation....she was a university student who led protests & underground revolts. In that time it was rare for women to attend university, so my grandma was quite ahead for her time. I dont know her Bday....I just know she's Aquarius sun.
