I was invited to see Susan Miller speak tomorrow by a friend, I'm wondering how she is perceived by people who follow astrology? I'll probably go either way - just wondering what your thoughts of her were. And how she might differ from Linda Goodman? Thanks. ------------------ Aqua Sun Gem Moon Aries RIsing IP: Logged |

My friend invited me, too, but I can't make it. She's supposed to be talking about September's ominous lineup (is what I was told). I'd go just to have something to discuss here!!! That was a joke, of course. I would go out of curiousity. I like her monthly scopes. IP: Logged |

From her website, this is what she'll discuss:September 2009 -- Buckle UP for a Rough Ride Hear Susan Miller talk about September 2009, a month due to bring harsh realities, particularly from September 14 to 23. Rarely has such rough astrological weather been packed into such a tiny envelope of time. September 17 will produce the most severe aspects, and the new moon September 18 will demand us all to start drawing up a plan for the future, mindful of all that has been revealed earlier that week. Using Time Passages Software, astrologer Susan Miller and engineer/astrologer Henry Seltzer will show you the planetary lineup and how each sign can best sidestep difficulties. This is a must-see lecture for Astrology Zone readers and horoscope enthusiasts, but doubly so for the Virgos, Pisces, Gemini, and Sagittarius born late in their signs who may feel these aspects a bit more directly than other signs.

UGH, for once in like YEARS, can I not have a good birthday?! It's always some freakin' drama going on around that time - and now it's in the cosmos? I haven't read Sue Miller's monthly stuff seriously in a while... it totally feels off to me. I read for my sun and my rising and it's still like eh... tired of hearing 'Dear Virgo' and 'Dear Taurus'...her stuff never seems to make any sense for me at ALL. I'd probably go see her though. Just to ask, Hey! What's the deal? Why do your monthly forecasts NEVER work for me?! IP: Logged |

She's very articulate and really knows her stuff. She does bash out a very thorough horoscope very every sign every month, based on the sun being on the ascendant, so you do need to read the horoscope for your rising sign especially. You need to know your own chart, and how the transits are affecting your chart. If you're late Virgo rising, you may want to read Libra's horoscope because her reading may be based on planets falling in the next house, etc. You need to be able to find how it applies to you... be active astrologically or be a lazy puss. It doesn't matter to anyone but you anyway. It's an interpretive science. You get as much out of it as you put in to it.anyway. her horoscopes are good if you can figure out what houses she's basing her interps on. Go with your rising sign, and sometimes you need to go to the sign before or after (more likely), so the house interps make more sense. She doesn't know where you are from or what house system you're using, so give her a break. IP: Logged |

She's cool, I just feel like she's slacked or something lately. I think she's a sweet gal, and that she tries. I just don't get all she talks about... I try to go by rising for me and it's still not working. Astrolutely works better, I feel.

Well, she talks about what's going on in your houses if you were a Sag rising, or Cap rising etcl she's all about the houses, which I love about her. You really need to know your rising sign or where the particular planets are in your own chart to know what she's talking about.IP: Logged |
