I started making charts for significant dreams about 2 years a go. Each person has their own definition for significant. Three top criteria for me are intense, insightful, and bridge. Or words to that effect. Unfortunately fears seem to loom quite large, and pictorially remind me of my 7 Swords in the Rohrig deck. (futility)

The card is mostly reds and black, with some yellow. In the background is the head of a huge reptilian beast, jaws open, fangs dripping...you know the type A person stands in front of him just a black stylized stick. He has a white glow around his head like a light bulb just went on. The beast represents fears; mostly imagined. A David and Goliath set up. I tend to view the card positively, in that we have the ability to shrink or neutralize out fears, to render them powerless over our decision making.

So, I started making charts for these dreams. Always noting the clock time. They turned out to be pretty profound. Analyzing the dreams themselves as I load the info, then seeing the results on my screen. I keep tight reign on how often. Last year I used just 4 for the entire year.

Since I am a self admitted 'roid junkie, I use the dream symbolism and analysis to pick asteroids to use. I keep track of 20 or so on a constant basis, so if they apply I add them. It is really startling how well this works. The first time I used an Ephemeris and added degree resonances, but now feel that it is un necessary.

So Sat morning I was up at 5:30...wayyy to early, went back to bed. Had one of those dreams and dragged myself out of it at 8:25. Usually I am in a fairly lucid state when observing the action...like a watcher, not a participant. This one I had to dig out of.

I have my Mars return tomorrow eve. 24 Gem. I am also having a Juno return. 4 Aries. She just retro'd, so will be on 4 Aries for awhile.
There was great resonance in the dream chart, for good or critical mass however you wish to view it. Virgo was rising with Merc on the ASC..wont bore with the rest.

Anyway give it a try...maybe you already have and would share?

Hey Node ... I'll share

I'm not too good at interpreting, so I will just post the chart.

I had a significant dream on Aug 1, and I remember the time I woke up so was able to draw up a chart.

I added the name asteroids of the three people involved in the dream.

I don't want to go into the details of the dream, but I have never ever felt so much grief in my life. I woke myself up from crying in my sleep!

The name asteroid in the 8th house (scribbled out in Blue), is the person we were crying over in the dream!

My name asteroid is conjunct the DC.

The other person's name asteroid is conjunct the Sun exact (scribbled out in orange).

I'm not really sure how to interpret this, but I don't think it's foretelling. I have been going through a lot of emotional stuff lately (I'd say due to the eclipses!).

What do you think? Anything that stands out? I made the chart with an orbfact of 50%.

ETA: I just noticed that the chart/ASC ruler -Mercury is opposing the Jupiter, Chiron, Neptune conjunction. Also, the DC ruler (Jupiter) is opposing the ASC ruler (Mercury). The 8th house ruler is in my 4th house conjunct the IC within 4 degrees.
The 3rd house ruler is in its own sign which is exact conjunct the other person's name. This is sort of scary lol .. I wonder what it means? Afterwards I did look this up in a couple of dream books that I have and they stated that grief was something to do with change, transformation and rebirth - soul-searching. And I have been doing a lot of that lately.

Hey back Candeh

The name 'roids are pretty spot on, they always are in mine too.

The time is so sensitive, and your chart is pretty darn interesting. I think you already have a real good grasp of the material. And the communicator Merc in 3rd is doing his best to help.

I would add that to me Venus at critical 29 in 1 is talking loud and clear too. As well as Mars.

Dreams often bring up unresolved issues. Things that either haven't been laid to rest, or people that still hold influence though
they are not in your life any more.

Again interesting chart, will have to look some more. Maybe someone else will chime in too.

P.S. there is nothing 'scary' in the chart just intense?

Node!!

Thanks for that. I'm not sure how Venus and Mars in 1 affect the dream tho.. do you mind explaining this to me?

The only reason I thought it was scary is because of grief (death) which is covered by the 8th house I believe, and the person's name asteroid fell in that house. It does look like a very intense chart though!

If I have another significant dream I will also post the chart. I'm expecting one in about a week or two ... these eclipses really shook me up and venus hits the eclipse point on the 26th which is also when somebody is coming back from overseas that I'm not sure what to do with. Fun! lol
