i had this idea..particularly in youth, the type of music one listens to quite often influences there kind of 'look' which commonly garners a label such as 'goth'/'indie'/'grundger'/'emo'/'chav' etc.. so it had me thinking, do you think something specific in the natal like neptune aspects influence the kind of music one likes, which then may further influence how a person 'dresses' or 'styles' them selfs. or do you think its not a specific aspect or house thing, and that it might be more of the chart as a whole, e.g. a prominent aqua/uranus chart might like alternative music? i don't know.. what do you think? I don't get people that are just "goth" or "punk" or change their style every 3 months! I've always wondered if maybe these people just have identity issues and cover it up by "being this or that." I've noticed that Scorpios and Libra Suns tend to be "scenesters," but I'm generalizing... IP: Logged |

Idk, but the Pluto in Scorpio generation sure did make the whole "emo" thing popular. My Neptune isn't very prominent in my chart. I do have Venus in Pisces, though. I like all different kinds of bands. Like, I love shoegaze, but I also like metalcore and post hardcore stuff. I'm also very into electro/house. I think you have to take your whole chart into account because different music appeals to different placements. I made a post about this, but I did find it interesting that one of the guys in one of my favorite groups (Daft Punk) has same birthday as me. IP: Logged |

Based on charts I've looked at, I do think that Neptune aspects influence musical talent, and the level of importance music has in a person's life. Not so sure about the genre. IP: Logged |
