Topic: What should I choose? (career advice)

I was wondering if someone could help me with career decisions. It's always been hard for me to figure out what I'd like to do. Right now, I've been offered a position (in the company I work for) which is fairly good money however there's a lot to learn (which I like) and a lot (and I mean A LOT) of work. I'll be working with computers.
I'm also attending school part-time, but for being a translator.
However, I recently started thinking (again) about becoming a flight attendant (just for some time). I like the flexible hours, and where I'm from, they have a pretty good salary too. Not to mention the travelling.
Anyway, due to hours and time, I need to make a decision what I should start and what I'd be better at.
When working with computer systems, I like the fact that I don't have to be nice to anybody, and I can just stay quite whenever I don't feel social, and it builds me a really good resume. However I don't like the 9 to 5 thing very much and I feel kinda trapped.
Translation, of course involves languages, which has always been easy enough for me to learn but I still have a long time ahead if I ever get a degree.
I have a lot of interests however I can't seem to settle down and decide what I like or want to do.
Can you please let me know what you think I'd better at and/or what would be good for me? Whatever you see will help I'm just useless at reading charts

Being a flight attendant will require perpetual and never-ending niceness. So, if you like keeping it real... it might be challenging if you're not the always happy and smiling type. AC Taurus - you require a bit of stability and you probably feel insecure when you aren't getting a steady income. You're patient and tenacious and so, you can get that degree easier than most because you understand working hard for a better future. Gemini Mercury in 2nd- You find a bit of self-worth in your ability to communicate easily with people. The planet of communication being in your house of personal finances might point to a job in communications of sorts, either through writing and/or speaking. Jupiter in Sag - You generally are worldly, and have a desire for travel and foreign cultures, but it doesn't mean that you have to be a flight attendant. A degree in communication, or foreign affairs or international relations could involve traveling for what you do for a living, whilst also receiving a good salary. It might be 9 to 5 in the early years though. Moon in 9th- is similar to above Jupiter in Sag description. Saturn/Pluto conjunction square Cap Moon in 9th - Here there is a conflict with your desire for structure and your desire for freedom. I think this is a great aspect personally, although it seems difficult. I can see it working towards giving you great resolve in maintaining discipline to do hard work. Basically, I think that this is just what the doctor ordered in making you a linguistic genius, IF YOU CHOOSE. The square means that it won't be easy, and you might sacrifice a bit of Jupiter fun for it, but it will pay off.
Neptune in 8th opposes Mercury in 2nd- You're foggy about other people's finances, thus affecting your communication and your personal finances. Avoid commission based salaries if it is in a job where you handle other people's money, like banking and investing. Also, be careful not to suffer by being overlooked for pay rises because you are not speaking up to bosses to give you more cash. Aqua MC - IT is a good field. Whether it is the best is up to you. I did this briefly, so I don't take anything as true but as probable, because I didn't even investigate what I said fully.

Have you thought of writing? I think you have a great chart for writing and possibly becoming published for whatever field you decide upon. I see a teacher strongly indicated. Teaching field would be best for you, i feel. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your insightful replies and for posting my chart . I gave it a lot of thought to what you've said.Well, I guess I should do translation then (comunication).
About writing, I actually used to write when I was a kid, but I've realized that I have no imagination, and I get stuck all the time. Now, I've lost interest in writing , but I guess it would've been a choice if I'd been more creative hehe.
Do you think being self-employed would work for me? It's always been a "fantasy" of mine, but I have no confidence in anything I do whatsoever, (I'm extremely hard on myself at work), so I pretty much don't have the drive to do it. IP: Logged |

Here's a few different ideas.
Run a hotel Bed and Breakfast
Own a shop/boutique
Day care
Any Cancerian activity(nuturing/business) dealing with communicating, making money, deals with people and some travel though it may not require travel and tourist or people come to you. You could potentially do well with a partnership or business in your local neighborhood.IP: Logged | |
