I went and saw "District 9" tonight and I thought it was a good film. suggesting it to everyone. some parts sad, some parts funny and some good action and sci-fi.

My real agenda was discussing something else though. in the film the main character prefers to hand make gifts for his wife because they have more meaning. and it rang a familiar vibe with me. I have always prefered making gifts and being original to buying them to show how much someone really means to me. what natally could have manifested this? Virgo AC with a strong Mercury and Venus? would uranus factor in as well?

just wondering what others think and if they feel the same way.

I always (well not always, but mostly) hand make gifts, because I like making stuff, and I hate shopping! Plus it seems so hard to pick the right things, especially with older people who have "everything" so to speak. Like my Mom, you can't buy her anything! So I took her baby photos and made her a scrapbook, which she loved.
