Been studying my little brains out, trying to figure out my own chart and not bug everyone here......so my startling discovery for the night......drumroll please! I have The Sun and Venus in The 8th house, so therefore, by my estimations, LOVE is going to KILL me at any early age, I knew it!!!!! IP: Logged |

Wait! I just read that a person with venus in the 8th will "attract the opposite sex, like a bee is drawn to honey!"So now I am picturing a Venus fly-trap plant! Me being the plant, so maybe it is the other person that is gonna kick it! lol. IP: Logged |

Yes,GW,your venus is illuminated by your sun in 8th house,so you are a venus trap! Sun and Venus in the 8th house depending on house systems because my Sun could be in the 9th house.The three people I care for and am close to have some type of medical condition, My Aries friend has these cysts in her stomach, my Leo friend dehydrates and becomes fatigue quickly and my Capricorn friend has a heart problem. Right, and it talks about inheritance coming from the persons fathers side. Which has happened to me, and will be happening when my Dad passes, as he is considered well off....lol, if I live longer than him that is! But I wonder if it is this aspect or another, that renders a person to be subjected to many deaths of their loved ones....cause I sure have that, any one know if it is this aspect or something else???It was pretty freaky to read a list of famous people who have these placements and had rather tragic, untimely deaths. JFK, Martin Luther King, and Farrah Fawcett come to mind, I read it this morning though, so I don't remember them all! IP: Logged |

Acknowledging what house the ruler of your Venus is located will help to understand how Venus works with your eighth house and what triggers it. For example, my Venus is in Gemini in the 7th house and so consequently Mercury is the ruler of my Venus. My Mercury is in Leo and in the 8th house. With this combo, I've realized I must feel intensely intellectually connected with someone while also maintaining an air of harmony and while also being able to express my passion for a broad range of trivial knowledge. The IC reflects the end of your life and the 8th represents the end, which in turn is a rebirth. GW, you said your Venus is in Sagittarius so check which house and sign Jupiter is in. Also I would interpret Venus in Sag. in the 8th house as a love for seeking the truth and disliking the mundane or superficial. I guess I'm not a fan of the ominous connotations referenced with the 8th house. I mean I've got my Sun and Mercury in the 8th house and I really don't like the idea of having a dramatic or a death full of miscommunication. IP: Logged |
