Wondering if anyone doesnt really feel the effects of their SRs? and wondering why in terms of natal chart. I know 1 person who has Pluto conj Saturn in 8th, who claims he doesnt feel the astrological effects of SR's, and my astrological theory is because of this part of his chart.IP: Logged |

I have no idea what you mean by that.I definitely feel my solar returns. I looked back, and they really played out. I am looking forward to my next solar return with it's Sun-Ceres-Mercury trine Moon. I am going to have a lunar return on the same day as my solar return. I am going to have Sun square Mars too, but I am going to use it for physical activity, assertiveness, passion, and initiative. I think SRs are more relevant from year to year based on theme in your life. For instance, this year my SR looks like it is going to emphasize relationships (which I typically have a terrible time with), so I very likely will feel the effects. Last year I had an emphasis in the 10th, and I definitely felt the effects of that, what with job issues and finally catching some potentially lucky breaks. A few years ago, I had an emphasis in the 12th house and I can't say that I noticed that one as much, because 12th house themes aren't prominent in my natal chart. However, I did get a temporary job in an institutional setting that year, so there was some correlation. I think it's important to note too that you probably shouldn't pull out individual aspects in solar returns and expect it to be a fully accurate reflection. You need to look at the wholly thematic representation of the chart. This is true for any chart of course, but especially for solar returns I think. Just my opinion though. IP: Logged |

What I mean is why SOME people feel their SR's and some don't. I know not everyone feels them. This person is an Astrologer as well and doesnt feel his SR's are very effective for predictive methods in his own chart. Me, on the other hand, have always found solar returns to be pretty accurate for the most part. I feel his SATURN conj PLUTO in his NATAL chart, is the reason he might be not able to feel his SR's.IP: Logged |

I seewell...I noticed some people are like that with natal charts. I read people make statements that they have problems relating to their natal charts, but they seem to relate well with their draconic charts. some relate more to sidereal zodiac chart, and some relate more to tropical zodiac chart. I also wonder why he says that he can't feel his solar returns. There are so many things that factor into solar return.
Also..I don't put much emphasis on house placements. I guess that's because I am influenced by Cosmobiology. I put more emphasis on aspects.......especially involving the Sun,Moon,Ascendant/Descendant axis, and the Midheaven/Imum Coeli axis. They seem to indicate the major themes of the Solar Return. Aspects Mercury,Venus,Mars are figure into the personal scheme of things. The other objects that orbit beyond them are more like the background. I compare conjunctions of natal planets, angles to solar return planets, angles. but yeah....solar returns, lunar returns really play out in my life.......they even work with the asteroids. I have already wrote about Brian L. Weiss stuff as well as my shaman healer, Steve Flores.

I think some people don't think of much past the last meal they've had. They don't really 'pay attention' to their surroundings. Maybe that's why? oOOPS. The person is an astrologer... never mind LOL IP: Logged | |
