I'm sure almost everyone has heard the story of Michael Vick..the star football player who ran dog fighting rings etc..
Supposedly they found the abuse going on to these dogs-besides the actual dog fighting was absolutely cruel and disgusting.
I couldnt believe what I found after seeing his birth chart..he has his moon in Sagittarius!
I've always found that the biggest animal lovers..the people who had the biggest bleeding hearts for animals were moon saggies.. I just can't understand how a moon sagittarian could ever possibly do this to any animal..especially dogs. He does have some opposition there though, his venus is in gemini..so maybe the opposition could create this?
In any case, I wish he had been prosecuted to a fuller extent and his career had been more affected by his actions..He just signed on to a new team for a crazy amount of money... I really believe that anyone that could ever treat animals this way is not human and has something seriously wrong with them. We are all living things with our own place and purpose in this world, however big or small the degree. Will we ever get over our self centered- superiority complexes about being human beings. The earth does not revolve around US!

I don't believe that one's moral character can be seen in a natal chart.

when I was new to Astrology, I thought Moon in Pisces people were typically compassionate. I felt honored to share Moon in Pisces with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,Della Reese.

but when I found out that OJ Simpson, serial killer John Wayne Gacy, serial killer/NightStalker Richard Ramirez, Oklahoma terrorist bomber Timothy McVeigh had Moon in Pisces, I realized that Moon in Pisces doesn't necessarily mean being compassionate. There are lot of ways that the Moon in Pisces can operate.

I believe that goes the same with Moon in Sagittarius as well any other astrological placement as well as aspects in general.

for Michael Vick, Moon in Sagittarius could play out for his love of sports, especially football as well as risktaking, gambling as well as a restless, freedom loving person.

the average movement of the Moon is 13'10,and so I am not sure if his Moon in Sagittarius opposes Venus in Gemini.

I agree! The natal chart represents a highly complicated constellation of possibilities and tendencies.

I do agree with the stereotype that Saggie moons are animal lovers...all the ones I know are.

I don't know anything about Michael Vick, but maybe he was an animal lover who was badly beaten as a child and/or has an alcohol problem. The incidence of men who beat their wives and children who were beaten as kids is very high.

Violence is always a perversion and a distortion; it does not mean that the violent person was born hating the beings he hurts.

Edited: I bet he had a violent dad, drinks too much, AND is hyped up on steroids.

Here is some stuff on Michael Vick's family background

Childhood

Vick is second of four children (including older sister Christina ("Niki") and younger siblings Marcus and Courtney) born in Newport News, Virginia, to Brenda Vick and Michael Boddie, then unmarried teenagers.[2] His mother worked two jobs, obtained some public financial assistance, and had help from her parents, while his father worked long hours in the shipyards as a sandblaster and spray-painter.[3] They were married when Michael was about five years old, but the children elected to continue to use their "Vick" surname. The family lived in the "Ridley Circle Homes," a public housing project in a financially depressed and crime-ridden neighborhood located in the East End section of the port city. It is an area known in hip hop culture by the slang names "Bad News" or "Bad Newz" according to the Urban Dictionary. A 2007 newspaper article published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch noted "not much changed" by observations of local people almost ten years after Michael Vick left. One resident said that there were drug dealing, drive-by shootings and other killings in the neighborhood, then suggested that sports were a way out and a dream for many.[4]

In a 2001 interview, Vick told the Newport News Daily Press that when he was 10 or 11, "I would go fishing even if the fish weren't biting, just to get out of there" and away from the violence and stress of daily life in the projects. Even though the area is, by all accounts, troubled, several people interviewed did not believe that dog fighting was a local activity.[4]

veering off topic, for a moment

Glaucus; Do you have those charts for the serial killers and any conclusive astrological study? When I was a psych major I was very much into the study of nature vs. nurture in serial killers.
I became pen pal to a person who killed his wife in order to make some sense out of the whole mess, I never did.
And I wouldn't suggest writing to people in jail, to any one reading this. You have no idea how completely manipulative sociopaths are.

My interests lie in:
Jeffrey Dahmer
Charles Manson
Richard Ramirez

I never thought of looking to astrology back then, I still have all my study notes, and if you know anything about them, astrologically, would you mind sharing, Glaucus, because I don't think I am completely done with my education, and this could make for an interesting sidenote.

Thanks, ~Gypsee~

One, Eileen Warnous. She killed several men in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was put to death. There is probably more, but to be considered a "serial" killer you have to fit certain criteria and she did.

I was always very interested in her because she apparently tried to pick up my Grandpa!
He said he was sitting in a shopping center (my family lives in Daytona, or lived) waiting for my Grandma to finish in the store, and this woman knocked on his window. He had the car running, with the AC on, and he rolled down the widow. Apparently she asked him for a ride, and he said, "no, I'm waiting for my wife."
A month later she was on the news having been picked up! He was so freaked out he called me long distance to tell me about.
I was just relieved he didn't give her a ride!

Yep

I know about her. I read about her. I also checked out a movie DVD about her. Cherlize Theron was in the title role. She was very good. She was unrecognizable. She put on 40 lbs for the role.

I remember her Sun being in Pisces.

Yes that is an excellent movie, I highly recommend to anyone interested to watch it. The title is simply, 'MONSTER' the co-star is Christina Ricci, who plays Wournos' lover. While Charlize was an excellent look-a-like for the real Wournos, (besides gaining the weight, she also wore a mouth peice to make it appear like she had the same overbite Wournos did) Ricci, on the other hand, was way prettier, even "uglied" down than the real lover, Tyra.

Yeah.

I am going to start a transneptunian serial killer series.

charts on serial killers and posting any transneptunian dwarf planet, dwarf planet candidate aspects...that is the big transneptunians. That also includes Pluto because it's a transneptunian dwarf planet.

I actually want to see if serial killers have other transneptunian dwarf aspects besides Pluto ones.....especially if they are stronger aspects than Pluto aspects.

I suspect many serial killers have strong aspects involving other transneptunians than Pluto.

Do you have his birthtime?

I don't look at aspects to the Moon without birthtime because the Moon moves quickly with an average of 13'10 per day.
