I've noticed that the opposition between Moon/Pluto can bring some really obsessive feelings between people. I've had it many times when I was the Pluto and the guys where the Moons and it made me crazy. I was extremely controlling, paranoid with jealousy. Now I met this man, who's married to somebody else, and even though I can't say I'm really attracted to him, I feel drawn to him and scared at the same time. I can tell by the way he looks at me (stares more like it) that he's obsessed. I've checked our charts and that's the only aspect we got. That and a Mercury(me)/Venus (him) opposition. No Mars and Venus, no Moon and Mars, no Mars in the 8th... Has anybody else had any experience with this? And how come the Pluto person is the one to be losing it? You'd think the Moon person would feel more affected by it.

I've had the square and the opposition, I've been pluto and the moon. In my experience the relationship was obsessive and jelous on both sides. The feelings were true and deep, but there was a Lot of negativity there and both times it was very controling.

I have the square and I am the pluto person.
True
deep
controlling
and jealous, bingo!

I feel like I'm true and deep and he is controlling and jealous, so I dunno.

I knew a man whose Moon was square my Pluto, and I wasn't obsessive about him at all. He wasn't obsessed with me either, I don't think, but it was hard to tell. Everything was sort of under the surface, never said out in the open (Neptune square Mercury too).

In general, I find Pluto can really suck as far as creating a balanced relationship. So many people say it goes both ways, but honesty I've found it to be more on the Pluto person as far as the obsessing goes, so that Moon case was odd. In any case, unless there are cross aspects, I've never seen a Pluto aspect produce obsession in both people at once. What other aspects do those Moon placements make to your chart?

This sort of behavior doesn't play out with Pluto aspects to the same sex (or the sex you are not attracted to), I've noticed. What is with that?

Hi Mani,

I think it's because Pluto is the more "dominant" of the two and those qualities are attributed to Pluto. There have been many threads about Moon/Pluto connections. Very intense. Positive connections basically mean you'll never get over the person completely. The negative aspects usually do add obsessive and jealous feelings.

Moon/Pluto conjunction IME... didn't really lead to jealously (though I was more jealous than he was) but we definitely had power plays with emotions. Controlling, yes. We both tried to control the other. I was the moon he was the pluto. I wouldn't say we obsess over each other but we are connected and it was always deep and true.

Well, other than that my Moon also opposes his Uranus and trines his Neptune. Another exact aspect we do share is his Saturn on my MC. His Uranus also sextiles my Venus with 0° orb. I dunno, seing our charts I don't see anything extraordinary, but I never felt any other man's lust so intensely before. It just makes me wonder. Of course I'm not sure about his time of birth so maybe that's why I'm missing things.

I know many people with Moon in Pisces opposite my Virgo Pluto and I have no issues really. What gets me stirred is somebody's SUN square, conjunct or opposite my Pluto. Then I start feeling the Pluto energies. I don't really stick around those folks and think if I did it would be an all out train wreck.
