you get me. ...and lots of other people. With Merc anyway, I tend to get obsessed in my thinking, depending on the house Merc falls into. For me it is the 3rd so sometimes I'm just spinning wheel going nowhere. I can also say abrasive things without understanding that they are abrasive, or talk about heavy subjects with an unusual amount of objectivity and then accidentally offend people (debate class was traumatizing). Sun square Pluto seems force extreme transformations in order to grow... I don't "gradually" evolve I have to completely dismantle my entire being in order to change. It produces very strong will power I think. I remember when I was a kid, I was constantly warned, "A tree that does not bend in the wind will break!" I think that kinda sums up Sun square Pluto. Breaking until you learn to bend. If you have this aspect then I'm supposing your Sun is conjunct Mercury, meaning thoughts are closely identified with the self, so any threat to what you think/say is a threat to yourself, and Pluto intensifies that with a do or die attitude. I sure do hope you mean natal. IP: Logged |

Well, my ex had a Sun-Pluto-Mercury-Mars conjunction. Let's just say that this aspect (combined with an 8th house Moon and Scorpio Rising), made him, um....kinda more intense than your average Libra. In synastry, his Sun-Pluto-Mercury-Mars was conjunct MY Pluto, squaring my Moon-DC and AC. It was really fun, light, and trivial!!!! (Not.) IP: Logged |

I've got Mercury conjunct Pluto. It makes me extra obsessive and suspicious (the Venus Scorpio adds to it). Pluto is also the ruler of my 7th house... so I obsess about relationships ALL THE TIME IP: Logged |

Ditto, except Mercury is the ruler of my 7th, not Pluto. But my Merc falls in my 8th (which is also where that lovely Scorpio Venus resides), so...yeah. What she said. Mercury conj Pluto = intense. ------------------ My Chart IP: Logged |

And sadly, not many people do appreciate the effort by a more driven, focused and passionate Libra. Most people usually lable the Libran personality as un-passionate, yet when they meet a more Passionate Libra, they can't handle the fire and the weep and whine about getting their feelings hurt. Keep in mind people... Libra is the sign the preceeds Scorpio. Just because we choose to withold our passion in doesn't mean you will never see it manifest itself... Be careful what you wish for . No wonder I like Scorpios and other Libras... They understand. IP: Logged |

Oooooh, I got mercury/pluto trine and if I wanted to, I could be a P.I. hahaha, naw. I'm not as focused as most people with this placement but I can ferret out stuff when I want to. Apparently your words can heal or damage and I'm only finding out now that that's verrrry true for me.IP: Logged |

i have a really wide orbed mercury opposite pluto about 7 degrees to be exact. but that aspect comes out alot with me at least.i can be obsessive in the way i think. i mean when i think of something ill get kinda obsessed with the idea until it just wears off. And it does not help that my merucry is in taurus and pluto in scorpio. cause with mercury in taurus you get fixed stubborn unable to change what i think and pluto in scorpio it just becomes an obsession until i have to kill my thoughts out of my mind then return back from the ashes of which i renewed my thoughts.
