I am not sure whether you would like me to tell you some background info, or whether it is just better for you to comment cold turkey, but please tell me something good. Of course, if there is no good news, I can handle it too, so don't be afraid to tell it to me straight. As a matter of fact, I need to handle it.

Interestingly, last year's solar return had lovely trines, but I had a bad year. So, maybe this house method below, is more valid.

So, ladies and gents, Please share what you see in this Solar Return Chart?

I'll also try to tackle it.

while squares will FORCE you to resolve issues, which helps strengthen and purify your energy, especially when pluto is involved as here...

I don't know how to interp Solar Returns either, but the Mars on your NN makes sense to me as you are actively bringing about your destiny.

What also stands out is that it appears that you have 2 planets on house cusps...Venus conj your 11th house cusp and Saturn conj your 12th.

Venus moving into the 11th also makes sense with all that's happening with you and your friend! AND Saturn IS your 3rd house ruler...communication w/ someone whom you are spiritually connected to?

the only aspects that I look at in regards to comparing natal chart to Solar Return chart are conjunctions. Only within 5 degrees......except the SR outerplanets get considerably smaller orbs.

It's not necessarily like transits

transits are temporary occurrences for a small amount of time.....especially fast moving planets,the points

when it comes to the Solar Return, the effects of the Solar Return Planets in comparison to the natal chart last a 12 month period. That includes not only the Solar Return planets but also the Solar Return Moon,Sun,Midheaven,Imum Coeli, Ascendant,and Midheaven which don't last long in transit.....especially the last 4.
It's usually only the conjunctions that are looked. so the effects of the Solar Return last longer than the transit involving them.

I went back and reviewed several of my SR's. From my (brief ) study, the clearest indicators for my year were:

1.
SR Angles, Nodes, and Vertex cnj the natal.
Natal angles, nodes, vertex cnj the SR.

You have...

~n.NN cnj sr.Mars

2.
Conjunctions to angles within the SR

The most active houses in the SR.

~ 3rd, 5th, and 10th.

Conjunctions within SR

~Sun and Saturn (in 5th; falls in natal 11th)
~Jupiter, Chiron, Neptune (in 10th; falls in natal 5th)
~Pluto and Vertex (in 9th, falls in natal 3rd)

6.
Themes, patterns.

~NN: Your natal is receiving a cnj, and your SR is cnj an angle.
~MC: Natal and SR are receiving a cnj.

I do the same with lunar returns. That's how John Townley does it. I have his book on lunar returns.

your focus throughout the year will be on 5th house matters - creativity/ children /selfexpression /games / having fun / taking risks-gambling/etc

BUT this is also the area of life that will seem more problematic and difficult for you, where self-discipline, oraganisation, etc will be needed (Saturn), also where you can leran your most imp lessons.

these difficulties may come from an ongoing conflict with changing circumstances or instability with friends/hopes and dreams/gains from your career/social life/support from friends/public response to your creative work. all that change will tend to annoy you. as your mindset will be focused on work and getting things done (Merc in 6th). Most of your communication will be with work-related people (and your thinking will be on those subjects).

Make sure you calrify things as that Merc is rx so there'll be a lot of mistakes and missunderstandings at work. (or redoing/changing yoru mind/etc)

Jupiter is in your 10th, but being rx, its promises are more about internal lessons and growing than actual carrer success. also, Neptune there brings confusion or naivete/idealism; you may ponder a bit on what you hope to gain from social and proffesional succes.

relationships are focused on family and home. if you don't have one, you may dream abuot it - but make an effort to ground yourself as the opp Nep-Jup op Venus will make you terribly unrealistic. also - if you'll spend a lot of time at home, by yourself, feeling lonely (and daydreaming of the perfect rel) watch a tendancy to eat too much just to feel better. this aspect looks a lot like watching TV, eating junkfood, hoping to have what you see on TV and looks so good (not considering that it may not be)

Mars there says that if al that energy is not focused on purpose, you may become very argumentative and get into a lot of fighting, or hurt other with what you say. keep busy, and keep your mind busy. you'll be quite territorial too - defending your opinions a bit too hard.

all this may have a deef effect on your beliefs; by the end of the year, your life philosophy may be a whole new things. but some things will be left behind and you may not be willing to let them go, but you won't have a choice (Pluto in your 9th). selfhelp books or even some sort of education or classess may help this transformation. and long travel you'll take will change you a lot.

you'll be more impulsive and a selfstarter 9even if you're not usually), but you'll feel like there's another part of you that just wants to enjoy and doesn't get a fair chance (tau intercepted in your 1st). this may be another reason for you to indulge a bit too much (see above, that Venus in your 4th, under stress).

Yes, I am not too thrilled about having hoards of people looking at me, but it is something I have decided to do and something I have decided to get good at. This is the year I learn to be a performer. I will get booed, although so far it has been clapping only. But, yes... discipline is needed if I am going to make this happen. COMMITMENT.

As for friends... I am losing or getting rid of some who think that my career is some huge party. So, yes, it has begun.

This is exactly what I desire and need right now. Not the money as much. I want to feel good about being on stage instead of dreading it every time, especially since I have agreed and have been offered a lot of contractual live gigs recently. People want to pay me to be their resident muso. That's great, but I want to love playing and performing as much as people seem to dig hearing it. I am always near fainting from fear. So yes, if I am able to get some personal satisfaction as a good performer this year, I am satisfied as this would be a goal reached on set time.

Spending time at home is what I do, generally. I go out for a few reasons, i.e. for work and occasionally for social gatherings, so this works fine for me. The thing is, I want my own home in the city. Because I have lived more at the coast, I had shared the rent in the city but since I'll be there more, I need to be alone. Maybe the challenge will be the fight of trying to be alone. Alone is good. I am more creative alone.

This has already begun. People are arguing against me getting rid of them, or against me wanting to be alone. So, that's how I am stubborn, i.e. I want to be left alone and people say I am being selfish about it. I don't want to talk and I am being selfish. Unfortunately, I am not budging.

My crush, the guy I speak of on Soul Unions, he is teaching me a lot about leaving guilt behind and basically reminding me of the self I have forgotten. He is atheist, and I am Christian, but we have the same beliefs, weird enough. I know, strange. the difference is that he doesn't believe the existence of the person now called Jesus, and I do.

So, all my life I have been shedding the orthodox Christian beliefs that are rife with guilt and hatred of self, and he is making that journey faster and more fun. He is going to be a huge part of me being okay with a lot of things that I have hang-ups about- and visa versa because he also has some blocks. So, yes, this is very true.

On a self level, I am liking money more, or I am finding it more useful than I did before. I desire certain freedoms and money can get me those freedoms, so I am becoming unlike I know myself to be. I am exploring this new side of me though, and I hope to find a balance and not be a greedy person or anything of that sort.

This is excellent news.

I feel something weird as the new Solar year is about to begin. I feel determined! Although I trust in my talents and in my luck, I want to DO things to make my natural abilities more formidable. I mean business! That's what I mean. And when I get this way, I can not be stopped until I produce my desires. I like this feeling as it makes me feel alive!!
