I would not think it was a new relationship. I think maybe a person comes back during a retrograde period could be unfinished business. Just an opinion. I am not an expert. IP: Logged |

I think it's different than a new relationship starting. The rx is good for resuming old things, but like with venus rx, sometimes after the rx period is over it ends. I guess it just depends. Who came back? IP: Logged |

Mercury RX is an excellent time for past love to return into our life and try to repair the relationship. It does not mean that when Mercury goes direct they will break up. It all depends on the particular relationship.

I have never gotten back together with anyone during a Merc rx (because once I'm done, I'm done), but I've known people who have tried to get back together during that time period, and it has NEVER ended well. It's usually just a continuation of the drama that came before it. One person is more committed to the relationship than the other, so the less committed person jumps ship as soon as possible. Thank you so much for posting this thread as this topic has been on my mind for the past week. It is highly unlikely my first true love will come dancing back into my life to mend the friendship. Last Sunday, a friend of mine found him on FB through his wife and it triggered so many repressed feelings and memories of this guy plus the painful ending, after he requested to keep in touch.I have seen three times during different Mercury retrograde periods, people come contact to to mend and heal things. The first time was back in July 2007, when a childhood bully messaged me of Facebook, apologizing for all the nasty things he did to me. We were both healed then. The second time, was about a year ago and I was at some sort of info session. The neighbors who I had a falling out with the year before over some silly thing. After discussion, the neighbor came and spoke with me. We cried. Patched up. The third time was last spring, my estranged sister calls up to bury the hatchet and said she will let things so and wants to be at peace with me and to keep in touch. (My mom phoned me the night before and I thought my mom was full of crap). I was speechless really. Yes, a mercury retrograde is an excellent time to patch things up and rehash things. Now in regards to my first true love, I have no idea. I think there is more focus in my relationship now with my man and maybe it's time not to hold back on some stuff. I'm not sure. Maybe we'll go elope or something. I dunno. I was out with my friends at karaoke last night and wanted a ring on my finger to show that I'm taken.
