I don't understand.Doesn't Relationship Signs have 'interpretations' of aspects that you would find in a chart generated on astro.com? For example: Say in your synastry with another, you have Sun square Saturn, then you would go to the book Relationship Signs, under Sun Aspects, and see what it says when the Sun squares Saturn. Relationship Signs has Linda Goodman's interptations of the aspects and the astrologers on astro.com have their own. I still don't understand. IP: Logged |

Yes it does have the interpretations but what I wanted to know is what method was it using because the aspects i got are different then the aspects generated by the charts on astro.com the synastry chart I ran on astro.com came up with different aspects and the composite chart came up with different aspects. So what is relationship signs using??IP: Logged |

In the book it should be less accurate because it uses sign aspects and doesn't take account the degrees of the planets. astro.com woul dbe more accurate. IP: Logged |

When I use Relationship Signs, I calculate my own synastry aspects before I open the book. I write down the sign/degree for each of the planets for each person (acquired from astro.com), then I slowly go through and calculate aspects. I start with one person's Sun in relation to each of my planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) and my ASC, then his/her Moon in relation to each of my planets, then his/her ASC in relation to each of my planets, etc. I think this is a good exercise because it makes me bend my mind a little and bond more intimately with the charts, rather than relying on a computer generated synastry chart. I had to realize, for example, that my Venus in Aquarius (28 degrees) opposed someone's Mars in Virgo (0 degrees). I also remember charts better this way, too. IP: Logged |
