By the end of october i'll be fully into my saturn return in libra(5th/6th house cusp). I've allready been having the hardest time lately with depression and really messed up relationships, just finished t saturn on my venus in 5th which Really sucked. T pluto is making a very slow, but sure conj to my cappy moon and t neptune is doing the same with an oncoming square to my mars. I've seen this last one make people have problems with drugs and alcohol and i've allready had problems with both in the past! Plus I have mars neptune parrallel almost exactly exact. I'm not looking forward to this shi* if you know what I mean, lol. What can I expect from my saturn return, any stories??

Yes, I have a story.

AT the time of my Saturn Return, I finished my first exam, moved out from home, started the two years to become a teacher in training and basically had to learn being responsible for my own life (including paying taxes).

It was exhausting, full of hard work, and yes, sometimes I felt it was a bit much pressure (but most of it ws because I put this pressure on myself), but it also was a very satisfying experience, seeing what I can do. I learned things about me, that I didn`t know before.

I was surprise at what things I was able to do, if it was asked. Gave me a feeling of strength actually.

But no, it was of course no funride.

Well, Saturn is in Cancer in my 8th house and rules my 2nd house, so it makes sense it had to do with work, money, finances, values.

Thanks DD! Yes I have read that if you "work" at a saturn transit that you will grow and evolve from it, but if you try to ignore or fight it you will have a terrible time and all for nothing.

Don`t worry!

Most likely you won´t have to look for work, it will come to you.

When I was having Transit Saturn opposing my Venus (which rules 5th, 6th and 10th house) I was preparing for my first exam. For months I have been doing almost nothing else. lol

scrappydog: congratulations! sat return marks growing up!! and you are right, if you resist the work it calls for, it can be gruelling, but honestly, of all the "dreaded" transits/cycles, this one has been the biggest relief for me! i have already done my SECOND and that was even better than the first.

on my first return i was finally making money in music, not a lot, but WORKING steadily and loving it, also hooked up with my husband during that time...or should i say hooked him, as i'd been working on it for awhile!

my second sat return found me in texas enjoying my first vacation in years, visiting with friends i hadn't seen since the previous return! have to say it was more celebration than trial!

ENJOY!!

It's not easy. I have saturn in Virgo in the 12th.

Because of retrogradation, Saturn conj. itself three times in my chart. The first pass was bearable, I knew what to expect so I buckled down and worked hard. I suppose I forgot about the second and third passes, and got complacent. It has wrecked my teeth, previousely my best and most proud of feature. Brought pain in the hips, shoulder, and lower back, though I'm not 20 anymore. As I write this I'm on the cusp of ruin, and freedom in an ironic way. On July 7th, the full moon eclipse, Saturn entered my first house, and I literally felt it. I felt restricted, held back and if there was a burden on my shoulders. "I can't do this anymore," I remember saying to myself. Suddenly I was tired all the time. Jogging became such a labor I had to quit.

I'm really sorry, Nine, and I really hope it will get better!

I also have retro saturn in 12th, 5 degrees libra, grrrr... On one hand, I'm looking forward to see if I did my "homework" ok, as in the natals, it conjuncts the ascendant, on the other hand, i'm scared out of my mind

Nine when you said freedom in an ironic way. What exactly did you mean?

I don't have to worry about my creditors because I don't have the money to pay them.

OH OK, Deep sigh, I was just hoping you were not facing criminal charges or something of the sort. When you think things have gotten the lowest, remember things can always get worse! This motto is what keeps me going in life.

Now that you mention it, in the year after my Saturn Return I was having an expensive treatment for my teeth, and it was the only time in all my life that I couldn`t pay the bill instantly. Actually my father helped me out.

But it was my fault, I had been neglecting the taxes a bit, and forgot to sent some formula, so they kind of changed the category of taxes I fell into.
All it took to get the money back, really was to fill out that bloody form!
Actually when I did the year after that, I got a refund of several hundred Euros.

But yes, that was SAturn, probably, too.

I certainly will never forget the feeling of not being able to pay this bill, even though it solved itself quickly.

Mine too scrappy! We can go through it together?

Are you feeling any urges to reevaluate or change things? For me, I'm having all this angst about career stuff that I intuitively feel will come to a head during my first Saturn return. I am thinking about moving too...

Whatever you do, don't fight it!

Yes I'm feeling these Same things! Like I have TO DO something, almost an urgency for self sufficiency and ambition.

Agent, love & relationships have always been the dominant focus. This "caring about my career" thing is brand new to me LOL.

After a string of miscarriages, including his twin, I had my first baby.

My Saturn is in 7th, like I say every week on LL, it is exalted in this house. The child was born early and is a triple Libra.

Star Venus Girl,
Yeah right! with so many planets in Libra I'd think that your focusing mostly on relationships....actually I have venus & asc in libra too, the rest is same as yours. For some reason tho, relationships are like non-existent in my life. I think something's wrong with me lol.

Bluemoon,
wow I wonder if you'd be as prone to miscarriages if it werent for saturn? I'm glad your child made it...must be a special child

I don't know why people make Saturn Return to be such a bogeyman affair. Looking back at that transit, it was not the worst thing I experienced.

Pluto squaring my sun was hellish. Neptune squaring my Saturn and then opposing my Jupiter was hellish.

Saturn return? cupcake.

Yes, I agree. There were worse things than the Saturn return.

Transit Uranus and Neptune opposing my Saturn, THAT was hell.
Transit Saturn was conjunct my Moon at the same time.

Natally, Moon is in Aquarius in 2nd house exactly quinkunx my Saturn in Cancer in 8th house.
Moon rules 8th house, Saturn rules 2nd house.

Transiting Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all fell into my natal 2nd house.

My whole world shattered, everything I ever believed in, taking away every feeling of inner security.

The only other time that was comparable in feelings of emotional abandonment and loss, was in 2006, when Transit Saturn was opposing my natal Moon.

But this time it became the trigger to some kind of a "journey", and it was also about readdressing those events and feelings I had felt, when Transit Saturn was conjunct my Moon many years ago. There was some kind of a purpose behind it as it felt, and in the end it was what led me to regain a feeling of faith.

At the same time Transit Neptune was conjunct my Moon and Transit Pluto was conjunct my Sun and Mercury.

my natal saturn is at 26'06 virgo (4th), opposing N venus at 27'07 pisces (10th) and squaring N neptune at 22'05 sag (6th)(sun/moon mp at 23 sag) and sextile N uranus at 25'21 scorpio (5th)

The transiting uranus/saturn at 25 pisces/virgo triggers everything above. i guess with a wide orb, you can add an influence of transiting pluto square N saturn and N venus

saturn rules my 7th; i'm acutely aware of my shortcomings in the relationship domain... and not just romantic relationship, but any relationship.

but i also feel an urge to build something lasting, in the professional sense. i'm on job seeker allowances for the first time in my life but next week i go to spend the week with a truck driver and apply for a training to become one myself. later, with the savings from that job i want to buy old, crumbling houses in my region and rebuild them to rent or sell them. i want to focus my energy on creating longlasting revenues; if i survive
