I'm not an expert, so bear with me here.

But I think that it depends what kind of relationships you feel more comfortable with. For instance, do you prefer easy relationships i.e. lots and lots of harmony? Or do you prefer difficult ones i.e. lots of passion and challenge? I personally prefer difficult ones because when things are too easy I get bored and move on. (Venus in Aries). What sign is your Venus and DC? Could you please post your synastry and natal charts? That would be really helpful
