IQ or anyone else with a good idea,

The sabian for 25 - 26 Pisces sais:

Watching The Very Thin Moon Crescent Appearing At Sunset, Different People Realize That The Time Has Come To Go Ahead With Their Different Projects

Is this a Sabian degree that indicates separations (especially in synastry or composite / Davison)?

Maybe in the sense that two people have to separate for a while (or a life or two), because they have separate purposes for this incarnation? (of course this works only in the context of reincarnation)

And if so, are there other Sabian degrees, which would indicate a possible need to separate?

Either separate or become interdependent?

I see this sabian as a conscious decision by both parties, do you? It's like two wise men who realize that they can no longer achieve more together, than they do individually.

People understanding their uniqueness and own place in the world and following what is right for them, as opposed to what is right for others. Understanding that everyone has their own equal worth and place, but individual role to play.

DD

From your interpretation I take it you are perceiving it from a synastry or composite chart perspective?

I have True Node on this degree in a composite. Always wondered what it actually meant and if this played a major role on our serperation due to circumstances out of our control.

Sunset = end of day/endings?

So maybe, they have simply spiritually or mentally outgrown each other?

Lara,

"Sunset = end of day/endings?
So maybe, they have simply spiritually or mentally outgrown each other?"

THAT was exactly my intuitive understanding of that degree. But I wanted to see if others see it the same way. So your post was some confirmation for me. Thanks.

PA,

yes, I was looking from a synastric perspective at that one.

I mean if there are "lovey dovey" degrees, maybe there are some, too, w hich are harsher in nature or even signify a potential ending.

I like the thought of realizing that two people have grown out each other and that their relationship has come to a natural end or at least has to move on to another level (maybe away from a romantic perspective).

Nose dives can also be part of stunts.

Lara,

I think it could signify desaster, but then again, only if the pilot doesn`t manage to turn the plane around, but sometimes he will manage to do so.

Also, I thought maybe it is really part of a stunt, a display of carelessness, dare-devil-attitude or even arrogance and thinking one can do better, than he actually can.

Maybe it's about taking a chance then, DD? Risks? Sometimes they pay off and sometimes they don't.

The gambling Sabian.

Yes, to me, it is more about the risk and the insecurity about how it is going to end, but it does not necessarily has a "dooming" feel to me.

Lara,

I agree with PeaceAngel and DD that your Sabian does not imply disaster, only recklessness and risk. The word "performing" indicates the decision was conscious and deliberate as part of an act.

It seems like a "play with fire" kind of symbolism--whether you come out of the nose dive successfully or not is up to you

DD--I need to meditate on your Sabian more before I respond. I have always felt a strong connection to the crescent moon (in fact I have a related tattoo) and feel that part of the Sabian needs to be analyzed more in depth. The crescent moon is a symbol of the divine feminine.

Thanks guys!

I'm just reading through the sabian symbols list and trying to find ones that mean separation or anxiety leading to such.

I agree that a nosedive can be a stunt!
It might also mean taking a risk that pays off at the last minute, maybe?

Lara,

yes, I agree with what you said.

And I also considered going through the list, but unfortunately I do not know if I will have the time.

Maybe,

4 - 5 Taurus
A widow at an open grave

could relate to separations or more precisely the pain about a fresh loss (the grave is still open)?

Starr of Venus,

good observation about "performing".

EDIT:
Maybe 7 - 8 Taurus belongs to that group, too?
A sleigh on land uncovered by snow.

It seems to indicate that there is potential pleasure that for some reason canīt manifest. Maybe a relationship that does not gett off the ground despite the feelings being there?

WEll, I hope I am wrong, as my Part of Marriage is on that Sabian degree.lol

Geez, my sun did pretty well to avoid those two @ 6' Taurus

Woman at open grave - could it be her own grave and she is reflecting on life or mourning a different life?
or it could be a transformational release from physical into the spiritual realm? hmmm

It comes off to me as 2 people watching a sunset together as well, and realizing they have been procrastinating and now it is time to be productive, and that always inevitably involves seperating yourself from one another and connecting to your work. You cannot be fully commited to both, and say you are doing your best.
I dont see it as necessarily outgrowing each other as realizing that they cannot continue to grow together. It is time to seperate for the continuance of growth for both.

But thats looking at it as a Synastry aspect.

ORBM,

I agree with your interpretation. But I do not see how it is hugely different from Lara`s. Well, yes there is a slightly different emphasis, but the result would be the same, and I agree.
