Cancer Sun, Mercury and Mars here. Yes, it's been a rough year but being aware of the astrological potentials of certain transiting planets vs. my natal chart helped me know what to watch out for. Though living it has sucked, knowing the nature of the transits hitting me this year helped me understand what I was going through and I realized that, while unpleasant, it was temporary and part of the "journey" - it didn't negate the effect of the transits but it lent clarity to the situation which did help.

I have a cancer ascendant and venus, so usually feel tough transits and I can say this year has been OK. Not great, but I have surprised myself by confronting some difficult issues with strength and letting other things, some I may have held on to previously, leave my life.
