i think i read it on cafe astrology, but it described that during this transit, we go through emotional 'cleansing' and that things may surface that we did not know, about a particular woman or something, often the mother if its a man or something.

well i find it odd that just recently i found out something which has shocked me about my mum, its left me quite speechless about it (i will not say what i have found it)

but its a secret she has kept for 22 years.

did anyone else with this transit find out anything about the family or there mother, or a woman very close to them?

I am presently going through it, and my mom has been ill on and off since last year. But no shocking secret about her or about other women has come out though.

tPluto in the 4th squared my nMoon in the 8th from approximately 2006-2008. This transit was mostly about my mother and her financial situation. When this transit started, she had her own little apartment in an assisted living facility, and our roles were still mother and daughter. When this transit ended, she was bedridden in a nursing home, and our roles had reversed – and let me tell you, she still resents that I’ve become the “parent” and “caretaker.” The stroke that took a good portion of her mind also left the part that believes she can still walk, go out independently into the world, invest her (non-existent) stock portfolio as she wishes, and convince the people she sold her house to, to give it back to her. I spent much of this transit putting her financial affairs in order with a lawyer (8th house Moon – other peoples resources), and doing an ungodly amount of paperwork and document collection and copying. I’m one of the sandwich generation: taking care of your parent(s) and taking care of your child(ren), and I very much felt stretched to the breaking point.

The anxiety of this Pluto transit was nothing compared to the electrification-element of my current tUranus conj nMoon transit – the Pluto Affair just felt like being trapped, and putting one foot in front of the other and slogging down the road taking care of responsibilities. There were days I felt like some cosmic garbage-can-lid was inexorably pressing down on me, and trapping me without light and air, no possibility of escape. It wasn’t all bad – I made some wonderful friends right here at LL and got a hefty salary increase at work

Pluto’s transit of my 4th house rearranged my deepest foundations of Self. Some personal emotional baggage was definitely cleared away and my self-confidence and feelings of self-worth have undergone a real transformation for the better. Break to Build, that’s our Pluto
Poor Mom, at the same time I had that transit, she was “enjoying” both her Uranus Return and her Neptune opposition…..

As for my mother, some may find it horrifying or evil, but every day I wish that she could be released from the bonds of this earth and her broken mind and body – stuck in a truly depressing institution (24-hour caregivers at her home cost $11,000/month, so it had to be a nursing home) feeling like a burden, taking 30 pills a day (that's about $1,000/month to the pharmaceutical companies) that our taxes pay for (she’s out of money and supported by Medicaid now) to stabilize her many health conditions (with no hope of any “cure”), living with a bedpan and just waiting to die. I hope my tUranus to Moon (8th house) will signify her finally passing-on from this dimension……

Sorry to hear that Azalaksh. I hope everything works out for you. MY boyfriends aunty had a stroke but she got better, she wasnt able to talk or anything but after a few months shes fine now and just needs therapy to use her left arm again.. It must be so hard on you.

When pluto went over my IC it opposed my moon and my mum and me had the most intense arguements and she took alot of drugs and kept kicking me out of the house, it came to the point where i actually broke things in the house and got arrested a million times. *Power struggles*

I moved away from home after she got me removed witht he police amillion times and i suffered really bad panic attacks, worst period of my life!

Thanks belgz
And I'm sad to hear about your issues with your mom (sounds a lot worse than my challenges)
No wonder you suffered panic attacks!! No sense of security at your deepest foundations
tPluto transiting the 4th house is really a case of 'if it doesn't kill ya it'll make ya stronger'.....

I remember in the time I had transit pluto wich started to square my saturn. In time it also opposite my moon and square my merk, uran, pluto stellim.

Big change in my life. It was hard work. My children was small and I work hard to get my education. In the same time me and my man build our house. It was hard work and big chance in my life. No money.

Pluto oppositon moon for me in that period = indication of stress in big changes in the life.

pluto square moon taught me that my mother was mortal...though i obviously knew that!...in fact right on schedule she left us.

it was time (so no need to sympathize with me. it was also a relief, cold though that may sound. she'd been in pain for many years and it was HER decision to let go). and of course pluto was NOT squaring my sister's moon which is 60 degrees away from mine, but this is a classic manifestation of the transit. in some way your relationship with your mother, or your concept of her, changes forever.

in a way it was also a transit that made it crystal clear that physical mortality is not the dreadful thing a lot of people - including my mother at the beginning of her disease - set it up to be. for many it is a welcome release, in her case from continuous excruciating pain and drugs and limitation.

i think it signals an emotional maturation, a coming into your own as your OWN mother, more than anything else. to me anyway
