OK, so if I want to look for events and moods in a relationship, would it be valid for me to look at one person's progressed chart against my natal and then extrapolate meanings based on houses/synastry with that?

Does that even make sense?

I feel like I'm back in a strong astrological mood and getting lost in all my charts and digging and what not.

It's another damn dude with Pluto sitting right on my ASC that's triggered it off! Damnit! I can't help but get obsessive about these people with Pluto on my ASC

Yes, that's what you do. Compare progressed charts to natals and composites.

Is it another pisces? I was just reading something you wrote about your pisces man yesterday. Freaked me out good!

oh hay!!! haha, you remember me and my psycho pisceseseses (yes, multiple plural lol)...

This one is, thankfully, NOT a Pisces... he's a Leo. Lots and lots of fire in his chart. I don't know his ASC, I've purposely not asked his time of birth so I can't obsess as much as I'd like to, but his Moon is definitely in the early part of Sag and he has a Pluto/Air singleton as well as a Uranus/Water singleton (he's mostly fire with the remaining planets in Earth)...

I was actually with another Pisces for a year and a half, I finally got him out of my hair this summer... we're still friends though, but I try to keep my distance because he's no good for me. He's a good friend and a good person, but we really have no future and he's very frustrating as a boyfriend.

Interestingly, my ex-husband reappeared inmy life this Monday... announcing he's getting divorced and can he crash on my couch on the 16th cause he has a job interview super early in the morning in my city (he lives 2.5 hours away)... he's like "yaaaaay we're allowed to be friends again!"... lol.

I'm always surrounded by the fishies

(however, the Pisces I completely lost my sh!t over and I used to post about him on here 24/7... I do not talk to him and do not want to ever talk to him again.... he's dangerous... I cannot stick my hand in that jar of crazy ever again, even though i'm kind of sad that we are estranged)

I don't remember so much as I was looking for a thread I posted on Pisces a few years ago and you posted in it. I read it the other night and then here you are. I must've sent up the bat signal, lol!

I'd love to talk to you about it, but I can't even do it on here.

Their progressed to your Natal, and vice-versa. Also, Progressed to progressed to see whether you're growing together, apart, etc.

Hope I didn't scare you off. I was looking for something I posted a long time ago (2 yrs.) about a pisces I was going to meet. I hadn't met him yet, but I knew I would, and now I did. It was a premonition I had and it came true. I am not stalking you or anything..

Lately I've been finding it most accurate (as long as I have everyone's right birth time) to look carefully at each natal, then look at the synastry, and look at the transits to the synastry.

Tight conjunctions and oppositions from transiting planets to important synastry aspects will show most accurately what's going on in the relationship at the present moment. I've been finding it more meaningful than progressions.

For instance--let's say A's Venus is conjunct B's Pluto (2) in synastry...and transiting Pluto conjoins A's Venus (0)...there will be an intense power-struggle that transforms the relationship at that time. The way each person will feel it will be shaped by the house his/her planet is in. For example, if A's Venus is in the 4th house and B's Pluto is in the 3rd, this transformation will connect to A's understanding of home and family, and to B's mode of communicating....

I think this kind of analysis can also can show relationship landmarks of various kinds, like moving in together or a first kiss. Not the details, but the energies at play.

Venus De Milo, be careful with Fiery Leo's! I'm a Leo Sun/ Sag. Asc. with Pisces Moon and I got way too caught up with a Leo Sun/Asc. with Scorpio Moon. Out of blue, he went from easy to contact to unreachable, almost as if he got bored with me, but this is probably true with most men.

At least you're not into a Libra Sun, boy those men are really shallow, I personally don't just value appearances and it really weirds me out when a person only likes me because of my appearance.

Sorry this is really off topic. Going with your post I'd say look at your own transits especially your lunar return, that can pinpoint a lot of events for the month, especially as far as romance is concerned.

The coalescent chart is a prime example of this stuff - it outlines the progress of how a relationship is doing with the transits too.

Hey Diana!

Noooooo... didn't scare me off just busy!

Lucia, hey thank you! I will look for tight conjunctions/oppositions, especially with planets that strongly interact in the natal synastry. That is a great tip.

Vetiver... Yes, I think I scared off my Big Cat with my intensity. I can't help it, I'm a progressed Scorpio rising right now with a whole bunch of planets, including Sun/moon in freaking Pisces! I feel like a whole bundle of emotions. I'm not used to this. I don't know how to handle it.

I've left him alone for a week or two, and my plan is to just send a text on Monday or Tuesday, literally just give him a poke with a "hi"... and see what he does.

We had amazing sex and I would like more, plz. It's totally not my style to chase after a man, but I'm sooooo physically attracted to this one, I have to make an exception.

We have a lot of Venus/Mars action and he has Mars in Virgo which doesn't make him the most assertive guy.

i'm just going to send off the "hi" and see what happens. It was totally my fault, I flew off the deep end and I don't blame him for backing off.

HAAAAYYY!!!

I didn't have to send him my "hi" text -- I got home last night and I had an email with the subject line being a sad face and the text just saying "miss you"... Aaaaawwww.

So I allowed myself to peek at his chart again, lol.

Interestingly, in his progressed chart, his Mercury, Venus & Mars are all between 6 - 8 of Libra right now, and will be for the next 2 - 3 years or so...

My ASC is at 7 of Libra.

I'm guessing this means that potentially, our connection may fade? It'll be intense for now, but... not forever?

I don't know his birth time, so there is a whole lot that is unknown to me. But the chemistry and physical attraction is through the roof. In standard natal synastry, we have his Mars exactly square my Venus (plus Neptune... which is conjunct Venus in my natal... yikes! that's no good)... but the bad/unstable aspects are that his Uranus is square my Sun/Mars conjunction... he has Saturn sitting on my Jupiter and opposing my Sun/Mars conjunction which... is obviously not a good sign

There is probably no happily ever after here, but he is so dreamy though, lol.

I'm excited about hopefully seeing him again next weekend!

fascinating... i found this old lindaland thread about progressed synastry:
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/012875.html

it says when relationships start, there is almost always a sun/venus/mars contact in the progressed synastry to the natal (or something like that).

That's exactly what I found in the Leos progressed synastry with his personal planets sitting right on my ASC!

This doesn't sound so bad to me. The Mars-Saturn can be a challenge, but Saturn-Sun can be gluey, making Saturn more serious about the relationship. I guess if you just WANT it to be a fling, it's not so good. But it could actually strengthen a long term relationship.

Aaaaaaaawwwww!!!! I'm rooting for the Happily Ever After. Then again, I'm very pro-Leo. And I'm tired of reading on here, "This guy has a girlfriend in another state and he doesn't talk to me, just stares at me intensely so I know he's my Soul Mate, and we are Meant to Be"....to me, "Probably no happily ever after here, but we have great sex in real life and it turns out I didn't have to wait for him to get in touch, and I purposely don't have his birth time so I can keep a lid on my obsession" sounds like a healthier start to a relationship with potential than the average Lindaland post, by far.

Also, I'm a Leo Sun/Virgo Mars...I'm not surprised he got in touch before you had to. I'm very assertive, and that's with a cowering Cancer stellium in my 7th house. If this guy is a Sag Moon, Leo Sun he won't be scared off by intensity...not if he thinks you are hott and likes the sex.

(Scorpio guys sometimes think they're scaring me off with how deep and intense they are, when they are merely confusing and irritating me by complicating things that ought to just be fun.)

Sorry, wow, this is a very off-topic post. I just got excited by the potential romance.

Hi Lucia!

LOL, I am excited too! He's exciting! Not only is he drop dead gorgeous, but he's also really creative, articulate and intelligent and he has a really sexy speaking voice. I love listening to him talk. One day, I want him to read something to me. I'm serious!

when they are merely confusing and irritating me by complicating things that ought to just be fun.

I think that is what I did

In my defense, I was acting on bad advice. I need to learn to trust my own instincts better.

I'm honestly worried about the Neptune and Uranus squares. Those look icky.

He might be moving cross country before Christmas for his job, so this all may be a moot point. But, I'd like to keep seeing him until that happens. I just enjoy him. I think he's great
