I came across a website, on which the astrologer describes her theory and gives 12 examples of chart comparision.

The premise is that Venus/Jupiter compound sets in synastry indicate a happy loving relationship, while Mars/Saturn compound sets describe a very difficult, tensed relationship that under certain circumstances can become tragic or even lead to murder (some extreme cases there).

A compound set exists of:

Venus and Jupiter in aspect to an angle, Sun, Moon or NN (this is a strong compound set as the angular or "lighted" aspect shows that this aspect is on the forefront)

Mars and Saturn in aspect to an angle, Sun, Moon or NN would indicate a Mars/Saturn compound set obviously.

Weak sets are either Venus OR Jupiter; Mars OR Saturn aspecting Sun, Moon, NN or an angle.
OR
Venus/Jupiter or Mars/Saturn without touching an angle, Sun, Moon or NN (they will stay in the background for most of the time)

She only considers as aspects:
conjunction - opposition - square

Orbs are:

if an angle, Sun, Moon or NN is involved, the orb can be up to 3,5°

She consideres several "chart-types":

° the birth chart
° the conception chart
- the problem is she doesn`t really like the trutine of hermes, but doesn`t tell how SHE calculates the conception chart.

° the 7th chart (which is actually the 9th harmonic chart)
BUT she uses the Egyptian harmonic chart. That means after having calculated the 9th harmonic chart you have to add 120° to every planet to get the Egyptian harmonic chart.

Important: she only uses sidereal zodiac (Fagan / Bradley)

And these charts are being investigated for the compound sets.

I just thought I sum it up here if anyone is in the mood for investigating their synastries this way.
Of course it is rather difficult, cause you don`t know her formula for calculating a conception chart.

Personally I believe that the astrological and the actual conception chart are not necessarily the same.
It may be because of the question: When does life really start?
During the ejaculation? Inside the womb?

Anyway, I think as long as we don`t know her formula, we have to use the trutine of Hermes. But it is quite unsatisfying as it might give inaccurate results probably.
