any experiences with this aspect?

all welcome, but particularly interested in the Moon of the man opposing the Sun of the woman.

is this a bad aspect or tend to be kind of magnetic anyway?

Well, I had this aspect in a synastry with my former boss. I wasn't physically attracted to him, but we got along very well. We were very close, kind of like best friends. We even finished each other's sentences and we always knew what the other one was thinking. I'd say that moon (male) opposing the sun (female) forms a very strong bond. It can indicate attraction if other aspects like venus/mars or venus/pluto are present.

that sounds nice Astra,

in this chart, those aspects are present, the other moon is actually conjunct my sun. so there is a dW sun-moon aspect in the chart.

i think there is a venus mars dw aspect too,

but astro isn't drawing the line, my mars is 10, and the venus is 16, is a 6 orb for sextile too wide? im sure it isn,t i know its not tight, but im sure 6 orb isn't too wide for a sextile.

the latter's mars is conjunct my venus.

one thing i don't understand in a description i read on cafe before, is that the sun in the opposition to moon, will not meet the moons emotional needs?

i guess this is a dumb question, but specifically, what is emotional needs? example? :S

things like emotional support?

Yes, emotional support would be an example of emotional needs. It's a matter of the Sun person being aware of how to make the Moon person feel safe and happy. The Sun person knows how to cheer up the Moon person or how to handle the Moon person when they're going through hard times.

If you have, for example, someone with a sun/moon combo like Taurus/Pisces and someone with a sun/moon combo of Sagittarius/Aquarius, then there is a problem. The moon signs have quite a bit of conflict (Pisces vs. Aquarius). They don't express emotions in the same way. Secondly, a Taurus sun is not going to understand the emotions of an Aquarian moon. Nor will the Sag Sun be in tune with the Pisces Moon.

However, if the Sun person's sign is compatible with the Moon person's sign (i.e. Aquarius sun conjunct Aquarius moon), then the Sun person can better understand the Moon person and attend to their needs.

I have some experience with Sun Scorpio people, both positive and negative since I'm Moon Taurus myself. If positive I felt them very supporting in a friendship level, never on passionate level. If negative they can really rebel my person alltogether. So why not focus on the opposite instead?

A Moon Capricorn person can really be so masochistic in my company since I'm such a sadist. This were warned by the author Linda Goodman on Relationship Signs and my real life experiences confirm this to be true. This apply for those cases only who are submessive enough though.
