I'm not DD  .... but Inannen is Innana (I'm pretty sure anyway), the Sumerian goddess of love. I think she's also known as Astarte and Ishtar. I feel she's similar to Aphrodite and even Venus but is more primal, tribal, much older. Actually, she's nothing like Venus at all, scratch that lol. She's a lot more raw.
The Sumerian stuff is pretty much the oldest in mythology, I believe, pre-dating Egyptian and Greek/Roman mythology. She'd also be kind of similar to Isis...as in the theme is one of self-sacrifice to face the true dark mirror of self. She went on a journey to the underworld and had to pass through 7 gates, losing her worldly power...to meet her dark sister (maybe her dark reflection?). It's a fascinating myth, one of my favorites. Yes, MVM is right.Inannen is Inanna, but the sound is close enough. Also Ishtar and Astarte have to be looked up, too. Well,Inannen is conjunct AStarte in my chart and squaring Ishtar anyway (plus conjunct Kaali and trine Aphrodite lol).
Her consort was Adonis-Tammuz (so Adonis can be looked at, too).
And yes, she is very primal; I feel she might have some similiarities to Kaali actually, as both are very tightly connected to sex as well as darkness and death and of course resurrection as well.

Huu-haa Innanen is a finnish album or singer what I remind! Since you don't understand finnish I won't bother you with a link.Inanna is a different story. She's one of the Daevas representing not only love but war as well. She's shumerian and I recal that the jews still today use owls representing her on burial ceremonies. I just found out I have dGilgamesh exact conjunct tInnanen in Libra in composite with someone. This has turned out to be highly significant due to their association with the ancient Sumerian city of Uruk (a place I had no prior knowledge of until discovering these connections yet gave what I thought was the made up word of "Uruk" an important role in my book...spooky!) Innanen/Innana was the patron goddess of Uruk. Gilgamesh was a king of Uruk. The city is highly important in Sumerian history. I also have Ishtar exact conjunct Mercury in the composite (Ishtar was the Akkadian counterpart for Innana) and Chaldea exact conjunct Venus (the closest Greco-Roman equivalent to the goddess Innana) as well. Needless to say, I am quite fascinated with Innanen/Innana these days. I just read "Innana's Myth" last night, but thank you for the additional links MVM and Glaucus. ------------------

Hey, I also have Venus conjunct Chaldaea (and part of this stellium are also Gilgamesh, Sindbad, Vesta, Knight and Stonehenge ).Ur is conjunct my Moon exactly.
And I found something interesting in the synastry with someone, who natally has also Venus conjunct Sindbad btw.
His Draco Inannen conjunct my Draco Adonis exactly. And this falls onto my tropical Moon and tropical Ur and his tropical SN. And all of that is on 16 and 17 Aquarius. IP: Logged |

aqua/scorp.I think kaali are so strong. I have kaali in my stellium. Merk (7,3)/uranus(8,3)/kaali(10)/pluto (12,4)in virgoI also have very strong connection to a man. I cant be near that man. I think it will be an explision. His BML are conj my kaali exact. My innanen/chiron conj his boda/briede. Kaali can compare with pluto. I wonder if Innanen have more affect on someone than kaali. That is an interesting description of that feeling, and it resonates with me.
There is a man, I feel I can`t be near to, too.
It`s nothing romantic, but something about his energy makes me feel as if it is just "too much", whenever I am in physical proximity. This is not even an emotional reaction on my part, more something instinctual. Like there is real physical electricity in play, as if in a chemical reaction. Anyway I now wonder if I should look at BM, Kaali and Inannen for that. IP: Logged |
