I strongly believe in soul mates and I'm using the plural because I believe our soul has many after living so many lives. How many are in physical bodies at the same time we are is a different matter. But since I don't think I've ever really met my True soul mate, I've been fooled twice, I'm focusing this topic on dreaming of them. A couple times a year, one was last night, I dream of being with a man, not sexually,just being with him looking into eachother's eyes and touching eachother, sometimes we have conversations, many times no words are needed. It's beautiful beyond imagining. The men are usually different, but sometimes one comes back a 2nd or 3rd time. I feel such total peace and love, I feel like I'm protected and safe no matter what. Now am I dreaming about soulmates that currently have no physical body or am I dreaming about soulmates from different areas of the world? I have a strong, but afflicted neptune in the 8th house. I'm also a natural astral projector and have had experiences since I was a child some people might not even believe. My dreams are very psychic, in fact that Is my psychic talent-dreaming. I communicate with all sorts of beings and recieve all sorts of messages. Sorry about the rant, but I believe that most of these abilities are coming from my neptune. Different astrologer's have even said suicide or seeing death as salvation, even longing for death, no fear of it at all is linked to having neptune in the 8th. And these all fit me. Does anyone else on this sight dream of their soulmates and what do you think could correspond astrologically to this??IP: Logged |

Scrappydog,Yes I have had those dreams too. I have Neptune in the first house and it is conjunct my Ascendant. It seems you are gifted in this way. I think that a prominent Neptune in the natal chart has very much to do with this (yours in 8th square Venus). I found your placements from another thread and I have Chiron conjunct my natal Moon in Taurus, I note your Chiron is conjunct your Ascendant. Perhaps part of your path is very heavily tied to past (strong) love unions and there's a strong healing theme you are projecting in this lifetime playing out in your dreams? Are you an early born Libra? Your Moon is in the same sign as my Sun, Your Sun is likely conjunct my Jupiter and Saturn, and your Venus in Virgo in harmony with my Cappy Venus. My Capricorn friend has similiar dreams about a girl. He says he can feel where she touches him and kisses him even after he's awake from his dream like the area of the skin she touched will be this warm prickling sensation. He said she touched his chest(this is where he had heart surgery and a non-blood transfusion, at 3 years old)He says there's no sound but he says they are very vibrant dreams with soft colors. Sometimes he's cried one or two tears during a dream. He says he's never seen her face just long black silky hair and a glimpse of this unique smile and these dreams come very few times to him. The astrological aspects in his chart that I think could cause this is: Scorpio Moon in the 3rd house, Moon sextile Neptune, Mercury conjuct Neptune, Uranus conjuct Neptune, and maybe it has to do with Moon conjuct Neptune and Pisces(Neptune in the 5th house) ruling over his 8th house cusp. My Aries friend has a man come into her dreams who whispers to her and holds her but she does not discuss it has often with me because she thinks she's being silly lol XD. I haven't said anything to them about Soul Mates perse, and they have not mention anything about the person being a Soul Mate, maybe because they do not know anything about them.X_X Edit: As for me, I have Pisces Moon in the 3rd house, Moon trine Pluto, and Neptune in the first house, with an 8th house stellium. I am a Sag; actually my Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC, Neptune and NN are all in Sag. My Moon is in Aquarius and Venus is in capricorn, you are right. How did you know this?IP: Logged |

I've always had dreams like this about men I am very attracted to/drawn to...in between meeting them and us becoming lovers or a couple.In one case (during my Neptune-Sun opposition transit), I had a series of very vivid, intense dreams like this about a man who later rejected me. Before that happened, I always took the dreams to mean that there was a deep mutual attraction and connection between me and the man I was dreaming about. And in every other case that has been true. Natally, I have an 8th house solar stellium, and Neptune in my 12th house (in equal house system...otherwise in my 11th) biquintile my Moon-Saturn and widely aspecting my Venus, Mars, and Jupiter. Jupiter in Pisces, NN in 12th. I'm not esecially a super-Piscean or Neptunian person. I've never had those kind of intense dreams about a strange man, only those I've known in real life. IP: Logged |

This conversation is giving me serious deja-vu. I have Neptune in the 7th, btw.I dream, and have dreamt many, many, times about this. I'm always on the beach, at the waters edge, and HE is standing next to me.
I can't see his face either, but yet I see his eyes sort of super-imposed over the night sky. His eyes change colors, and sometimes the expression in the eyes is so,so,so, familiar. In fact, it is so familiar it has me on a quest.
Once I thought the expression in the eyes was distincly one of my brothers.
Another time the expression was that of Michael Hutchence.
There is much humour in these eyes. I always can see his hair, its long, dark and curly. I just thought I was an incurable romantic, nice to know others have this too. IP: Logged |

With sun almost exactly conj pluto I must be a real powerhouse.. My mother's nickname for me is the Pittbull, lol. I never give up and can survive everything, I always come out swinging. With chiron conj my taurus asc and in a t square opposing mercury 0 deg and both squaring my n node. Neptune is in sag in 8th sextile my sun 1 deg. square my venusin 5th and square my jupiter in 5th. I am such a die hard romantic, love is the most important thing to me in the entire world. I feel like I can't live without love and never understand how so many others do just that. It's beyond my comprehension. Mars is also parallel neptune exact in my declinations. I just don't know if I will ever experience in real life what I experience in these dreams and that scares me, not to mention depresses. Finding a man that I had a deep soul connection plus all the physical chemistry too would literally be a dream come true.IP: Logged |

Oh about my chosen career path, that has been a hard and confusing one. My sun pluto conj is squaring my mc  I started out artistic at 18 and got my liscense in cosmetology. I worked as a makeup artist and hairdresser for 7 years(libra sun, taurus rising). I was constantly haunted that what I was doing was shallow and unimportant, ie I wasn't helping anyone, I wasn't making a difference. I wanted to go to a veterinary technology school, but the hours wouldn't work. So now I think I'm going into healing humans instead.IP: Logged |

Scrappydog, I have the same placement, and it is true for me. There were times in my life when I saw death as salvation and relief, which can be a dangerous thought because the idea of commiting suicide becomes very attractive when one is depressed. The upside of Neptune in the 8th is that it gives you respect for spirits and dead people. We understand the need for funeral rites. Neptune in 8th might dabble into porno, but ultimately we are not happy with mindless crude sex because deep down, we feel that sex is more than that, so and we set out to understand the sacredness of sexual union, so I would advise you to study tantra which is an excellent way to utilize Neptune in 8th. Belage, I know exactly what you are saying. I have no fear of death, I see it as one of the most natural and beautiful things in life because it is a release from all suffering. It's bliss in oblivion. I look at all these religions that try to control people by scaring them to heck about death, that is the saddest and most pathetic thing to me. It literally hurts me inside. I see death as a release, because there is no eternal death. Your soul is just being released from it's earthly body and it will always come back again for another try. I feel so few others can understand death in this way. For them it's something to be feared and reviled abouve all else. With this position I'm also very in tune with spirits and ghosts, what about you?IP: Logged |

scrappydog, I am comfortable with spirits and ghosts, but I can't stand most movies that deal with these entities because they're all about sensationalism and fright. I wanted to add while people with Neptune in 8th may not fear death, but they need to be cautious. Neptune also rules escapism, so it sometimes becomes too easy to see death as a way to escape the hardships of life. So it's important to stay grounded in our body by doing things like walking in nature, gardening, etc, anything that keeps us connected to planet earth. IP: Logged |

I've been dreaming of the same man for 11 years now. Usually I can't see his face but sometimes he'll take the form of someone I know in real life or even a celebrity. I knew it was 'the One' the moment I first dreamed of him; I knew it wasn't just a dream but an astral meeting. I recognized him immediately on a soul level and remembered him from many other lifetimes. That first dream we just stared into each others eyes and held each other, and in the dream I said to myself "this is the man I'm going to marry." The love is beyond words; it is a true merging of hearts and souls. When I was in a serious relationship (when I was younger I was desperate to find my twin and convinced myself that my ex was the man from the dreams, though it was clear that he wasn't), the dreams stopped for 2 years, then started up again shortly after the breakup. I haven't dreamt about him so much lately, but for the past few years I can now feel him around me often while I'm awake. I can't say if I'll ever meet him in this life, though I'm hoping. I'm a Libra Sun, with Neptune in the 11th conjunct Venus in the 7th exactly. IP: Logged |

I have about 2 or 3 times in my life I think. The last time I had one I was in a long-term relationship ... I had a dream it was my wedding day and I was so so so so so so sooo happy (I could feel it upon waking too.. I was soooo elated and felt loved and had a warm fuzzy feeling all over me) ... but I couldn't see his face, it kept changing. I just remember looking into his eyes (whatever colour they were!) and just feeling.. true, unconditional love. All I knew upon awakening was that I wasn't dreaming about my partner at the time! I don't think I've had that feeling with any relationship. I came close with my last one *sigh*Neptune trine Mercury, Neptune sextile Pluto. (Mercury opposes Pluto) IP: Logged |

No dreaming of soul mates, but I do not have any strong Neptune aspects and am a practical Taurus.I will say, when I meet someone that is a soulmate - not necessarily romantic, just soul connection - we often feel each others thoughts and feeling while together. I've had some ... well actually more than some crazy dreams. I've had dreams where they felt SO REAL and when I woke up it felt like I was really with that person, or my soul or spirit was with that guy's soul/spirit. I've also had dreams where I was with a man I have never met before, he didnt resemble anyone i have ever met before. And at that time i felt like it was the soul of the guy that i was previously dating, we dated months before the dream. It was like he was trying to get in contact with me through my dreams, b/c i woke up saying his name and that was before i realized what i had dreamt. It was pretty crazy. and weird. And i know a lot of people i know would think i was crazy if i told them about that. I did tell one friend about it, and she thought he was trying to reach me or communicate with me through my dreams. Craziness.... but I've always had an interest in these type of topics. But now I have a stronger feeling with another guy, that he may be my "soul mate" or another one of my soul mates in this lifetime.

LOL. Any details? I've wondered about those dreams myself. Whether the people you meet in dreams are better for you than the ones you meet in the flesh. The astral realm can be a confusing place. I've had one person confess to dreaming of us dancing to a love song, and how romantic, beautiful, and real it was. This after I've fantasized about us dancing while listening to my favorite music. And I'm one of those who can get lost in a song, and replay it dozens of times, consequently replaying the fantasy. I never revealed this, but I made me think, hmmmm.... I've had two co-workers inquired whether I was a dance student, or such... hehehe Only in my fantasies.
