Being an American,I have been wondering about asteroid,America.
its number is 916
In my Chart:
using whole sign house
America in 25'00 Virgo in 1st
conjunct Juno in 26'26 Virgo in 1st
quincunx Mars in 25'54 Aquarius in 6th
sesquiquadrate/semisquare Lunar Nodes in 10'30 Aquarius/Leo in 6th and 12th - '30
in the declinations:
America at 0'17 North
parallel Juno at 0'11 North
(both asteroids are strong because they are near the equator which is located at 0'00 N) I have Juno and America in both conjunction and parallel, and so they are in an occultation. hmmmmmm....so much for me having a foreign spouse. hahahahahha where is America in your chart?

I just took a quick glance, also at Germania (since I am German).America is on 24 Leo in my 9th house. Germania is on 17 Aquarius in 3rd house, exactly conjunct my Moon  IP: Logged |

America for me is:29' Scorpio 2nd house.
Sextile moon in Capricorn 4th house.
Sextime Jupiter in Cancer 10th house.
Conjunct Mercury in Scorpio 2nd house.

DD,My ancestory is German. In 2006 I went to Frankfurt, Germany. I was excited to see Germany. I was born in America. Wow Germania is in my 4th house and that is my heritage and America is in my 10th. Interesting. IP: Logged |

America is in my 5th house at 5 degrees Taurus. Its square my Leo Sun/ Mercury in the 8th, sextile my Moon and Chiron and trine Neptune. I guess its pretty prominent in my chart... IP: Logged |

your exact Moon-Germania is most impressive! I guess my Juno-America occultation in Virgo in my 1st house means that my wife should be American just like me. Virgo is the critical,perfectionist,health emphasis too.

I'm born and live in Sweden. My asteroid sweden 25,22 in leo. Sweden trine my amor/wertex (GC)1-2, Sweden sextile valentine/siwa/ixion(1-2).I work in norway and norway square my venus/NN/mars  . It must be wrong because I really loved my jobb/sorroundings and the people.. Hmm IP: Logged |

hard aspects aren't necessarily bad. they can be action,initation type aspects
in Cosmbobiology, conjunctions,oppositions,squares,semisquares,and sesquiquadrates are event-oriented aspects. They are not viewed as challenging,turbulent like they are in mainstream Astrology.
in the whole sign house system, all houses were equal. The houses corresponded with the signs. whole sign house aspects were used.
the waxing square corresponds with Cancer and the 4th house. the waning square corresponds with Capricorn and the 10th house.
Ptolemy used whole sign house aspects. Hellenistic,Vedic Astrologers do too. Raymond ------------------

He he i must laugh. That's true. Norway and my job get that stellium active..really active and in much suddenly positive ways and without fight. Square in transit and in natal allways get me a feeling of rapidly change, inre fight and hard work. I think it is my natal saturn which cause me to that kind of thinking... IP: Logged |

I'm American. I have the asteroid in my 1st house. It doesn't aspect any of my planets.Sabian - A GIRL'S FACE BREAKING INTO A SMILE.

America- 24 Libra conjuncting my Pluto (barely- 27 Libra) and trining my NN (22 Gemini) and sextiling Neptune (26 Sagittarius). It's in my 11th house. So I'm... friends? with Americans? lol. I hope so anyway, since I am from America. I can have friends from other countries too right?  Being a native Texan, I just HAD to look up the Texas asteroid. Texas- 13 Taurus- floating in my 6th house aspecting absolutely nothing. Wait no, I take that back... It sextiles my Vertex at 13 Cancer. I do find it amusing that Texas is in the sign of the bull. BUMP! IMPORTANT:I have the America asteroid in my 9th house, where there is also sun in leo. Meanwhile, I have the Washingtonia asteroid in my 8th house, where there is also Mars in Cancer and Venus in Gemini. I have sun conjunct midheaven, sun trine saturn. Mercury in virgo in the 10th house too.
I am planning on majoring in International Politics and Economics in College and hoping to seek a career in traveling related to diplomacy.
Does this kind of tell me that these are good placements? How do the America and Washingtonia asteroids related to this?
