My ex's Mars squared my Pluto by 1 degree (while his Venus squared my Pluto by 0) and the sex was very good.

One of the things that I've noticed by doing both my synastry to other people as well as clients' synastry charts is that even though a composite aspect may be traditionally considered too intense, negative, etc. it all depends on how each energy plays out in the individual charts.

BUT what I found so interesting is that through it there came a lot of transformation into my life. In terms of insights as well as in my perception on men in general (especially through the one whose Pluto squared my Mars, ASC and NN).
In some way it felt like a part of me was "dying", but in the end it was good, cause it led to new life.

But it certainly is no rosy fairy-tale doe-eyed combination. It is very explosive, and disregarding sexual attraction and stuff, I think two people could either easily fight against each other, trying to impose their will on each other, or they could connect and make a really strong team with much energy and power of persuasion.

My friend and me have Mars-Pluto-conjunction (her Venus is also conjunct my Pluto), and we were an astonishing working team at university. Together we had more energy than we ever thought to be possible on our own.
Oh and people didn`t really like us for this. There is something "pact"-like about these Pluto-connections, a feeling for the outside world that they better not intrude if they don`t want to wake up the sleeping dragon.

It is not true, but sometimes it felt like we evoked that feeling in others. A sort of non-understanding and unease.

Well, probably what noone can understand is, that we have met during our puberty and are still friends with regular contact after 20 years. People always shake their head in disbelief about that. lol

Maybe Pluto along with Saturn gave our friendship this staying power.

Oh my Dad`s Mars exactly conjuncts my Pluto. But he has never been abusive towards me. Quite the opposite. And that even though his Pluto also opposes my Moon exactly.
But as the tolerant and open Aquarius he is he luckily has other ways to get rid of any kind of tension.
Well, I remember when I was younger, he would take long walks and just scream to leave off the tension from work.

And our relationship is based on mutual respect and the feeling that we can rely on each other; it has never been the typical father-daughter-relation, though; he never told me what to do, but he was having faith in me, in my strenght, even when I was doubting myself.
And of course he shaped me a lot. My analytic skills and interests, that is what we have largely in common. And maybe I did expand and train mine those, because I somehow sensed that this is something that impressed him quite a bit.

Anyway, I think we have found a very positive expression of our Pluto-connections.

EDIT:
Interesting. I have checked the houserulers in all these cases and they seem to illuminate where the transformation took place.

In the case of the 1st guy, whose Pluto squared my Mars and who changed my perspective of romantic relationships completely.

Pluto ruled his 9th house, Mars rules my 5th house. It was his philosophy and lifestyle that initiated this change in me. Needless to say with my 5th house being triggered, I was VEHEMENTLY attracted to him.

In the case of the second guy, where my Pluto conjuncted his Mars.
Pluto rules my 12th house and Mars rules his 1st house.

In the case of my friend, with whom I have been such a great (working) team.
Pluto rules my 12th house, Mars rules her 10th house (!). Venus who was also part of this rules her 11th and 4th house, and Mercury (also conjunct my Pluto) rules her ^12th and 3rd house.
It means that our 12th house rulers are conjunct. I think that made it easier for us to tap into our subconscious resources of energy.

In the case with my Dad. My Pluto rules my 12th house and Mars rules his 8th house and 3rd house.
his Pluto rules his 3rd house and my Moon rules my 8th house.
