I've learned since being here that having angles meet in synastry between natal charts is very significant.

However when looking at my partner's progressed chart I noticed that all of his progressed angles are approaching being exact with my natal angles. Could this be significant as far meeting & sustaining a relationship?

What happens when the angles shift from this tight conjunction?

The meeting of his Progressed to your Natal can cement the relationship, and from then, just study the Progressed Composite to see how the relationship progresses. Do not waste energy on searching for harsh aspects from his Progressed to your Natal after a few years.

JChristine,

Here is a great link on the subject. I haven't found this method to fail once, and it has taught me a lot about the nature of certain relationships. I didn't know until researching this (thanks to DD) how important progressions actually were.

He states that progressions CAN bring people together, but you have to have at least one of the connections natally (he does also agree that moon and ac/dc count if you have the correct birthtime) within 2 degrees to create a permanent bond.

IQ...I was going to post a thread about the progressed composite. In what way do you think we can use it? To tell what events are going on currently? I heard someone once say that they are useless without a transit hitting a point... Just beginning to study them, so I'm curious.

Thanks,
8th

Obviously Progressed Composites are more useful with transits because of slow movement. Pr Comp Moon moves significantly.

About how useful it is, here is an example.
Progressed Composite North Node for me and wife is 8 Leo during marriage.
8 Leo on our wedding date saw a conjunction of Mars and Saturn.
2 years later, our daughter is born with Ascendant at 7.5 Leo
and the Progressed Composite North Node of me and my wife is 7.59 Leo.

Also, our first born Cappy Rising Son has Saturn sextile our Pr Comp Mercury exact, and Pr Composite Moon exactly trine his Natal Mercury. Quite a precise fit because his Natal Moon is also Capricorn and hence ruled by Saturn.
