Now, what all of this means, i have no idea! Maybe we can calculate a British-Man-chart? Placements that are typically "British"? Perhaps you understand what i'm trying to say?

Like, say 5 people all have Venus aspecting Saturn and they all like English men. Then we could say Venus/Saturn is a British placement?...

Thoughts?

Hi Meta!

sure.. i have dated french, italian, austian, german, pakistani and american. I have dated more American men than brits! I am rarely attracted to English boys/men.

I have married twice, to foreigners. I will probably marry again to another foreigner ... an AMERICAN!!!

Here is my chart -

Your DC is Cancer with no planet in the 7th. Meaning a Cancerian/water would be a possible match. No planets in 7th so look at the 5th. No planets but it is ruled by Gemini. You will meet through "Gemini" activities. So there may be some travel but not as extensively as if it was ruled by Sag or Virgo. 7th House ruler is the moon. the moon is in the 3rd house ruled by Aries. This should better describe the individual. My guess is that it will be someone from not very far away who will be ambitious person in the area of communications. she will also have Cancerian qualities

Yes Lara Sag on DC

My chart screams-meet during foreign travel maybe that's why I've never married - I've never been overseas.

I'm from another country and living in the US, and I married someone from the US... and I don't have Venus in Sadge or 9th. But my Juno is in Sadge.

In some ways I'm always the one dating the foreigner

Im attracted to all sorts of people but i wouldnt bring them back to Australia if i was serious. firstly they cant speak english and its too much of a headache when theres such a difference in culture.

I have moon in 9th.

I love guys overseas but for me to materialise it .. it would never happen

Neptune in 9th. Nearly married a sizzling South African hottie, but we did not go ahead because she absolutely did not want kids.

I have a strange international look. Foreigners have guessed me to be Arab, Turk, Colombian/Latin American, Palestinian or Iranian. My fellow Indians tend to give me very strange looks when I speak in chaste local languages.

Love foreign babes of every race, culture, nationality, language but am very happy being married to an Indian from the same cultural background, and she thinks I am a foreigner too

Belgz, I tend to like your posts.

Now I have to say, in my marriage, the difference in culture, mother tongue, age and gender has been easy to tick along with, I even learned his language. It was fun. If there is any difference that puts a strain it is social class because of how it effects expectations - where we should live and the financial implications, etc.

But it's not me who lives in another land, every day speaking a language I never spoke as child. This is where I think we have to be clear what we are talking about with Carl's chart. I think there is every chance you might live abroad for a substantial part of your life, immersing yourself in another country. Might not, might do.

There are a lot of women in China. Who's to say you won't meet someone who wants to stay home and live 10 minutes away from their mother? They might find it a drag you are foreign, but they like you so much they forgive you for it. My parents are from different countries, but really, I think my mother secretly wishes he was English.

MyVirgo Mask - Let's see hmm Virgo do you happen to have any Virgo? Virgo is another big traveler and depending on the chart, may live in a foreign country. Meaning that they would most likely meet someone from a foreign country.

Well, I guess a hole has been shot through the Venus/Saturn theory!

Perhaps asteroids would work better...? Like the asteroid "London" in someone's chart, or something along those lines?...

I'm determined to find a link, damn it! There has to be a reason, a cause! My Aqua Moon demands it!

Interesting how you have Pluto and Uranus in the 5th house. Have you had many dangerous, heavy love affairs? Are fifth house matters a source of struggle or power for you?

LOL Meta!!!

Yeah, i am 70% RAM lol

It's interesting what you are saying... in the past i have been attracted to control freaks and bullies. ALL my relationships are intense and a struggle, both in power and in my struggle for freedom within a confined space!!
Yet if its all roses and moonlight romance only, i get so bored so i need that uranus/pluto edge for me to survive.

For instance, this guy i've started seeing now has scorpio AC, gemini sun and aquarius moon. I guess he is firmly embedded in my 5th house so to speak

Alright, Ladies and Gents, I put asteroids "London" and "Glasgow" into my natal (as well as Karma, Eros, Psyche, Osiris, Isis, and Juno).

London:

Inconjunct Moon
Conjunct Venus/Chiron
Sextile Mars
Opp Neptune
Trine Pluto/Juno
Square Isis
Trine ASC

Glasgow:

Conjunct Sun/MC
Opp Moon
Square Mars
Inconjunct Neptune
Square Pluto/Juno
Quintile Psyche
Sextile Eros
Opp Osiris

Both cities touch my Moon, Mars, Neptune, Pluto and Juno and both are in my 9th house. Are we onto something? Maybe! Probably not... but who cares!

Try it out and see what you find.

Lara,

Also interesting how you have Venus in Aries and Mars in Taurus- i'm sure that can be confusing! You say that you've attracted control freaks and bullies, but what type are YOU attracted to. Like, if we could build your soulmate, he would be/have/look like...?
