1. medium height, medium build but very strong. white patch on scalp makes white streak in hair - right in the middle! also various white patches elsewhere on body, most in the shape of certain countries...most people think this person is a little "out there" at first glance, certainly not much in step with the fashion of the day...prone to intuitive flashes and pronouncements considered "weird" by the majority...

2) dark hair and eyes, very irish face, also medium height VERY forthright manner and opinionated talker, a certain tendency to dayglow colours but always mixed with more conservative things. intuitive, verbose, iconoclastic...

We're of greek descent so got gorgeous, dark olive skin and big brown eyes, dark, almost black hair and full cheeks and the cutest dimple. She's almost as tall as me(and im 24) and is just absolutely gorgeous. Like a dark Nicole Ritchie, same face and everything.

I, on the other hand, have Aries rising with planets in cancer, taurus and libra and look totally different to my sister (and brother, who's Libra rising). I have naturally brown hair and its got red pigments in it but its blonde instead, although id look great as a redhead. I reckon my libra moon contributes to my look, and even tho my planets are in cancer they're in the house of gemini cos they're on the cusp so i look more like a gemini than a cancer. Very petite and thin, very youthful (im 24 but i look b/w 19-20), angular face thats just cheekbones and a prominant straight nose (think Sarah jessica parker, she's an aries too) and massive brown/green eyes. I get told i look like Madonna, Gwen Stefani or Uma Thurman heaps.

Agreed, the Sun almost always shines through the prism of the ASC to varying degrees.

So people generally look like both their suns + their ascencants.

For example I know a Cancerian (the first person that popped into my mind here) who is a Libra rising. She is exceedingly pretty and charming, but with a moon face, blue eyes which look as deep as the sea, etc.

Aquarius Ascendants look like stroke victims - one side of the mouth can slope up or down, so when they are "normal" they would look like they are smiling or frowning.

Just-got-out-of-bed-look is my look and yeah, most likely just got out of bed.
Nutty scientist type can be Aqua too.

Striking is a good word to use.

Some ASCs look: Hot, sexy, pretty, striking, handsome, distinguised, beautiful etc
