Topic: South Node & People We Know

The stereotypes thread got me thinking about the people I know and how they do or don't fit with those stereotypes, and I realised that the people I've had the least experience with are Virgos. This is also my South Node sign, so I'm wondering if anyone else has this pattern? If so, s it because South Node is where we've been, etc?IP: Logged |

My South Node is in my opposite sign, Cancer, so it's kind of to be expected that I've dated a number of people from my SN sign. I've also had a number of Cancerian contacts over the years, so my experience isn't the same.IP: Logged |

My South Node is in Gemini, and I have had several dear Gemini friends, two passionate flings with Gemini men, and fallen deeply in love with one Gemini.So far, one great love of my life had a Gemini Sun, the other a Gemini Moon. I like Geminis so very much. I tend to feel happy, comfortable, and at ease with them...which seems right with the South Node. I don't have planets of my own in Gemini, or close family members with significant Gemini aspects. IP: Logged |

My south node is Aries. My Grammy was one and I adored her. My brother's ex girlfriend, who is a great friend of mine is one and I feel the same about her. I tend to like female Aries better than the males. One of my true loves was an Aries though. I find that a lot of laughter goes on between myself and this sign. In the females cases, I'm usually the entertainer and with my ex, he kept me in tears. Something I would like to find again in my next relationship.In general, I really like fire signs alot. My SN and Karma are in Gemini in my 7th house, and I have never fallen in love with a Gemini or even have all that many Gemini`s in my life.
I remember having had one Gemini friend though, which I liked very much and it hurt me tremendously when he left my life without a word (left school without saying anything and never stayed in contact).IP: Logged |

My SN is Aries...come to think of it, I don't have a lot of experience in close relationships or friendships with Aries, male or female. Mostly acquaintance types or people I work with. My FIL is Aries sun and I respect his intelligence and drive. I love Aries energy, it's compatible with my Sag sun. A woman who works behind me is Aries and I love her. A caregiver who used to take care of my dad after he had his stroke, I just loved...he is Aries sun/Aqua moon. We got along really really well...I also have an Aqua moon. my SN is in libra conjunct my sun!come to think of it... i don't have a whole of libra sun peeps in my life. What i do get is people with libra moons and/or people with 7th house emphasis. I especially have strong connections with people with aries in the 7th house... I also have a lot of aries sun friends... IP: Logged |

LotionI can see how that would relate. If your North Node is in Aries and it's your path in this lifetime, it makes sense that you would attract Aries influences. IP: Logged |

The only I know are three men I falling deeply in love on ... They have either or his and my saturn aspect on N.N or S.N. This aspect not start a relationship. I think it is a heartbreak aspect. For me it's that.IP: Logged |

I have South Node conj. Sun in Leo in the 12th (Mars conj. NN). I never had friendships/relationships with Leo’s – the only two I have to deal with are my mom & sis.
But...I always attract Moon-Leo’s, not for relationships but pure friendships.
It’s like I can’t stand the Leo-energy on a deeper intimate level, and yes, I was always aware of this instinctive aversion.

My South Node is in Gemini, conjunct my Moon and Venus. Before the age of twenty, I had difficulties with three different Gemini women - my grandmother being the worst. My memory used to be pretty good, but I've had problems with it over the past few years, and can't remember the third Gemini! My grandmother only seemed to like me when I was sick - at least when I was small. We lived with her for a couple of years, and in that time, I went from extremely confident to stuttering and having panic attacks (something big/traumatic also happened during that time period, but she didn't help). The second Gemini is one that I held a grudge against. I didn't get over it for nine years, until I finally found myself thinking of her (out of nowhere), wondering how she was, and making excuses for her behaviour. The third one? Damned if I know.  I now wish that I could remember. (Losing these memories is getting on my nerves. I'm only 34.) I don't have any experience with Gemini men, that I know of. I have several Sagittarians in my family, though (as well as those with strong Sadge placements); I have more Sagittarian, Aquarian and Taurean energy in my life, than anything, I think. (My North Node, IC, and descendant.) I still hate to see Gemini picked on so much, though. I don't know what was going on in their charts, besides the Gemini Sun. My south node is in Scorpio and I adore Scorpios. There's always been a very strong bond between me and my Scorpio friends. We always go to the ends of the earth to help each other out. I love that we're loyal to each other and can count on each other. IP: Logged |

My south node is in Cancer. My best friend has her ascendant in Cancer and my husband's ascendant exactly conjuncts my south node. Maybe there is something in south node connections that we shouldn't overlook. ------------------ IP: Logged |

My South Node is in Pisces.Every major love relationship I've had in my life has been with a Pisces man. It's also funny, cause I have no water planets except for my Uranus in Scorpio and Pisces/Virgo is intercepted in my chart. I think Pisces is comfortable, but my theory is that they also add balance to my chart which lacks water. Interestingly enough, with my ex-husband, we both had a mess of planets conjuncting each others South Nodes... I only had Jupiter on his North Node... but my Sun/Mars conjunction was on his SN! With him, it was one of those "love at first sight" deals, but it was a disastrous, difficult relationship... it made me feel really stagnant and held back... although it was comfortable and easy to resign yourself to. my south node is in taurus and my north node in scorpio.I knew a taurean who I considered to be a friend but after a while it all seemed pointless! As in I was the one who always made the effort to get in contact or talk but the taurean would never bother or do the same. Also the taurean didn't give any postive regard to the friendship, where as I alway did. I soon realised there was an inbalance in the friendship as I gave way too much time and input without getting the same back.
In the end we just drifted apart, that person didn't offer anything in terms of growth. As for the scorpio aspect well, omg I have come across some very volatile and crazy scorpios who were challenging but they were acting more for their own selfish and dark needs..so again we drifted apart as I knew I couldn't be friends with these types of people as my intuition kept telling me to stay away from these negative people. So as far as meeting with node type people I haven't really met any good people who show postive growth within friendships..

I must add I know more taureans like I desribed above and again they do nothing for me! And when I say that I dont mean that in a selfish way! I mean like I will make an effort with them, but will never get the same back from them. They are quick to take whether its time, support or material things but wont bother doing the same back.
Its like I've outgrown peeps like that..its just getting boring now!IP: Logged |
