Topic: What You Need to Be Happy

Have you figured out what things you need in life to be happy? List them from most important to least (but still obviously important)..I am wondering if our #1 is connected to our Sun sign. Do the other things connect to your birth chart somehow?Mine.. 1. A fulfilling, active, social JOB. (I am a Capricorn sun) 2. A close network of friends & family. (I think this applies to most people) 3. The money and time to travel abroad and actually doing it.(Sag moon/mercury) 4. Keeping an attractive appearance. (Venus in the 1st) 5. An "escape" & alone time..whether it's losing myself in a crowd of strangers at the club, going on long drives out in the countryside, substances (NOT in excess), etc. (Mars in Pisces in the 5th) 6. Being outside (Sag moon, maybe?) 7. A creative outlet - music, art, dancing. (Mars in Pisces in the 5th, again) List yours, I'm interested!  IP: Logged |

Love (all forms. most importantly, the wife.)
House (stable foundation)
Children (My own family)
Family & Friendship (friends can be like family to me)
Genuine Happiness (at peace with things, no particular reasons to root depression or something deeply saddening)
Materials (you know, things you want)
Money (money is superficial but i need it to gain some of this)
Success(excel in what i enjoy doing/chosen career)
Control (this doesn't really matter, but its added security lol)
Power (i like feeling powerful yes)
Recognition (would be like icing on the cake of power)only the top 4 mean the most to me in this life time. 5 is relevant if i achieve the top 3 at least. 6, 7 and 8 makes me even happier in a superficial way. 8 means more to me than 6 and 7, but 6 and 7 would make me happier in the long run i think, than 8. the rest are meaningless and are just little desires that don't matter. these are all the 'selfish' needs. i do have selfless ones that can make me happy. thanks. Finding some place (country, city) to connect with. 5. Being constantly challenged intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Should I tell you my placements, or are you guessing? letram,I find choices 6-11 interesting. Very honest, and almost probing. You said they're not important, but at the same time, you did list them. What are you placements? How important are they to your everyday life? IP: Logged |

1. Understand myself - find my own identity - being proud and true to myself (Aries Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury stellium).2. Being with the one I love (Pisces DC and the above stellium in the 8th house). 3. My family and my few but special friends (same as 2, plus Sagittarius IC). 4. Being able to enjoy life, trust more, fear less, and let go of sadness (Taurus NN). 5. Having a good future career in which I can have good stable income plus liking what I do (Virgo AC/Gemini MC). I'm happy with my income as long as I can pay the needed stuffs plus the things I want. X3 And I'm happy if I can handle my life's responsibilities and being independent (Virgo AC trine Capricorn Neptune). 6. Keep learning, widening and restructuring my knowledge/wisdom (t-square with Taurus Mars in the 9th house oppose Scorpio Pluto in the 3rd house and square Aquarius Jupiter in the 6th house). 7. 1. A fulfilling job (pluto and saturn in scorpio in the 10th)
2. Love--I want a husband, kids, and the white picket fence, so sue me. (Venus in the 4th, Sun and Mercury in 5th)
3. Money--> I want to have enough money to set aside for my retirement and put towards my future kids' college education (Jupiter in the 2nd, moon in capricorn)
4. Adventure--> I need excitement and intensity in my life. I want to travel and constantly learn. (Venus opposite pluto, Sun in Gemini)

I am with PA here.Me. Being content with me (but in a growing learning way, not stagnant). That attracts everything else.
Having peace of mind. That is a wonderful place to be(gin).
Sun, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, Node and ASC in Sag.
Sun, Venus, Neptune, Node in 1st house.
Mars in 12th house. Neptune conjunc ASC and Node.
Moon in Aquarius in 2nd house.

1. Freedom to live my life on my terms as much as possible.
2. To have warmth, food, shelter, drink etc.
3. Having close contact with nature to keep me grounded and focused on what its all about.
4. Nice people around.Money is nice, but only there to serve need for freedom. I dont need money to be happy. As long as the basics are there, all is fine Parter goes under "nice people around Me" Music can be played in my head.
Maybe the Aquarius rising bit for the freedom. Basics needs are Cancer, while relating is a Libran subject.

Having no limitations. I dont even really like having a set schedule where I have to be responsible. I like going with the flow throughout the day. (Gemini ASC?)A romantic interest. (5th house Libra Moon) Something to keep me intellectually stimulated. (9th house Aqua Sun/Mercury) IP: Logged |
