in the future if a make a "generalization" about a sign and you are offended by it, then keep it moving please.
the ranting and fussing with one another is really disrupting the learning process for alot of us. astrology is complex and also intriguing but the childishness needs to stop. if someone offends you due to your natal aspect, then you need to ask yourself some serious questions. when someone is upset or want to complain then what can be really wrong with that? are you that person they are talking about? NO. they are talking about someone in real life. no two people are twins! let them get their feelings out! Why do we have to apologize? i have done it before (posted about an aspect or moon, or whatever) and im glad i didnt have to apologize to all 50 billion people with those placements. i was very upset and who has time for that when they are ****** off? and i am truly disgusted by people getting their feelings hurt by aspects and angles, and so now i have to speak on it.

This is astrology. astrology is a study of stars, influences on us, etc.

if you really think about it astrology is based on mythology as well. jupiter, pluto, neptune and the rest of the bunch.
jupiter is the planet of luck. pluto is the planet of death and regeneration, etc. so, i am saying, we "generalize" each planet. the planets are where it begins. What i am getting basically is people are upset about astrology!!! come on!
So, if i say pluto is the planet of death then-oh my God, he is going to strike me down and send me to the underworld because i stereotyped him. Enough already.
also, whats wrong with a soulmate post? abolutely nothing. everyone wants love. why not get excited. im glad no one belittled my feelings when i was dating. i think that is mean. just because you have been there or done that doesnt mean others and their feelings are any less valid. i mean, i hope no one is ignorant enough to be hynotized by a chart! if they are, than thats a whole 'nother website.

I'm offended!!! HAHAHA, no, just kidding :P

It's just that some of the threads sound vapid to me because some people come in saying fatalistic things about how one should NEVER BE WITH XYZ WITH X ASPECT BECAUSE THEY ARE HORRID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A bit different from posting something like, 'Hey, I've had a bad experience with xyz aspect, can someone pls shed some light on it?'
I think it's the WAY it's put out there which has put me on the defensive in the past... because it's like the thread sometimes doesn't invite new insights so much as griping and complaining, without a desire to learn anything new. And I think if I were a new person to astrology and I were to read such a thread which is fatalistic, I would come away fearful of certain aspects first, without learning. I think we're responsible for what we post to an extent.

this is the perfect topic for me i always find myself apologizing for my troubles and then i hate when people get offended by wheni dont like a certain person who maybe the same sign as them.

I agree wholeheartedly. Astrology is about generalizations, otherwise there is no such thing as astrology. It breaks things down into components so we can judge them. Like it or not, this is astrology. Judging a chart and predicting what will happen and what a person's characteristics are based on SIGNS and planets. Take this away and we are all spinning yarn.

take some consideration.

and there should be a limit.

i agree with mvm, because thats how i feel.

if some one says "all leo risers are dickheads"

then yeh, i am going to be offended, because your statement implies im a dickhead, but you don't even know me, so damn right im gonna come at you.
