Topic: What Celestial Happening would make EVERYTHING change?

I am seriously changing a lot and in so many ways. Fundamental ways. Things that I don't think usually change. Like for example, I've always been a surburbanite and always wanted to live in the suburbs. But now that seems so blase to me, and I want to live in the city.I used to HATE the city. I hated it. Now I love the idea of living in a high rise in the middle of a big city. I've always loved watching sports, but now I am not as into it. I always loved to cook, but now I don't like it as much. It's like all my preferences are changing to something totally different. I don't understand it at all. These are some examples, but there are deeper changes as well, things I value are changing.
It's actually very exciting, but I have no idea what i am going to be like when it's over. It's like I am in a major stage of transition.
Astrological things that come to mind: Progressed AC just changed into cancer. Pluto is about to leave my 8th house and will conjunct my mercury. It is about 7-8 degrees away. I had an eclipse on my IC in July. Actually, a lot of eclipses hit sensitive points in the last year. I had one to the sun, one to the TN, and I think I had another one, but can't recall it right now.
My question is what would you look for, astrologically, for such major change in a person? IP: Logged |

hmm, a lot in the 6th/7th. uranus/venus in the 8/9th opposite saturn in the 2/3rd. moon/pluto in the 5th. SR - Natal = a lot in the 10th, ura/ven in the 11th opposite sat/5th, moon/pluto in the 8th.
What should I be looking for in the SR?

I'm thinking if SR reflects the year ahead, it could answer some of the timing questions and the types of changes.EDIT: Any aspects to your Node? I would also look at AC and Sun aspects because if everything is changing, that, to me would mean that you're changing and everything around you is reflecting that. That's how I see it. IP: Logged |

Are you talking about my SR or natal?For the natal I've had jupiter, neptune, and chiron on my TN for awhile. Jupiter has been squaring my AC, but that is recent, as is saturn trining my AC. I DID have an eclipse on my TN.... If you're talking about SR, I have to look...
I really think it may be the Progressed AC change and the ecxlipses, but I am unsure. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone has observed it in anyone else, and can tell me about the astrological changes that precipitated that.

Winter,I DO. I posted a threasd on it a few months ago. I had SA mars and jupiter conjunct my natal mercury, juputer was also conjunct. I have SA venus conjunct my MC. IP: Logged |

Maybe it's pAsc changing signs.Also look at your numerological year (Sun Sign+Birthdate+2009) An eclipse hitting your IC is also important. Since it was the first round of eclipses, you should expect major changes in those areas corresponding to the MC/IC. The IC afterall represents your foundations, and in some ways your values. Nine.Yes, I definitely think the p AC changing signs is a big deal! I've become a bit more feminine in some ways. The IC eclipse is also a big one. I will actually have one to my MC in January. Eclipses really do shake things up.
Maybe it's just everything together. I have a lot of important transits in ALL my charts: natal, progressed, and SA. It's like an astrological earthquake, I suppose.
If I recall correctly, my life path number was 6. Maybe it was 4, I don't remember...Your formula is different. I guess aqua is 11, then I use my entire b-day including year? Then this year?

Sun Sign + Birthday + 2009 isn't lifepath calculation. It's the calculation for your personal year (2009) of the nine year cycle. Aguarius = 4

I seem to shut down threads the moment I post but I have to say Uranus. Sat on my sun for a long time and the effects are still lingering. Huge changes in every part of my life. Add Saturn through the 2nd so you can feel like crap about it and you come out a different person. I was zapped with revelations daily. It turns out well I am sure but I have a bit to go. Ursa,T. Uranus is in my 11th and about to enter my 12th when it goes direct. It squared my moon, but that was awhile ago. It WILL sextile my MC shortly. Hmm, saturn is conjunct my pluto in the 5th/6th, but that is generational. So...I don't think it's uranus for me, but that would make sense.
Uranus is the ruler of my 11th house, which is where my TN is (10th/11th) and 11th is hopes and wishes. It is also the ruler of my sun, which was eclipsed last year. So maybe...

What's Jupiter's condition in your chart? The #3 year is a year of hyperactivity. Most likely long distance travel and interactions with diverse groups of people. IP: Logged |

Hi Diana-Of course it can be many things, my experience was quite profound. I thought I would add my 2 for the sake of the discussion. Jupiter in my natal is my most important planet. It rules 5 of my planets. It rules my 8th house. It is natally located in my 7th, conjunct mars and neptune. It is sextile my sun in 10th by 2 degrees, it's in domicile (sag), I think it's also sextile pluto in the 5th/6th, and it's sextile my MC. These are off the top of my head -- there are probably more, but it's all sextiles and trines, and conjunctions -- no squares or opps, so it's good. Tranist Jupiter is in a separating square from my AC, and in my 10th house right now, approaching my TN (Again!). The first time it hit my TN, I got laid-off! I was like, what?! Nope, I am late 30's, but not 39 yet. No one has passed yet. I just got done pluto square pluto, which was HELL. Have you had this yet? It's cool to have things "shaken up" but it's disconcerting and a bit confusing. It's like being born again, or something. I mean, everything is changing, not just one thing. I used to love warm weather and always be cold, and now I don't like warm weather and I like cold....strange as hell. IP: Logged |

It sounds like a combo of everything, I believe Asc changes are significant, we generally only get 2 to 3 changes through a lifetime and how many times have you heard people say “don’t know what happened to him/her they just changed almost overnight”. You have had some eclipse action similar to my own and can attest to the shake-ups they bring especially if you have solar arc movements indicating change. Didn’t you have a sudden house move mid October when transiting Mars hit the July eclipse degree, or was that someone else? With SA Venus = MC have you fallen in love recently or had a change in status/fab new job? Are you finding that there are many changes related to your Mercury ruled natal houses? I’m being nosy, I’m also having multiple SA’s and eclipse action and curious how it is playing out for you.

Actually late thirties is a huge deal with women especially 36-39. It's the pending 40s that makes us quickly re-evaluate and make a significant shift. I've heard of women moving to New York and ditching it all, dumping long term boyfriends who would not commit - finding someone else quickly and getting married. Trapping a guy by getting pregnant. Going back to college. The older women get, we get more gutsy. 38/39 tick tick tick.IP: Logged |

Winter,I also think the P. AC change is significant. That's when I started to change. I've always thought eclipses were very significant too. What happened to you with the eclipses? Where did they hit in your chart? That was me. I moved in with a friend for a bit, but it was a total disaster. SA venus is actually still a few more degrees away. It's P. venus that is exactly on my MC. I haven't fallen in love recently, although I did like someone a lot. No changes in status/job. I am looking for a new job, but am writing a book...so i'm torn about the job thing. My mercury ruled houses are 2nd. The other one is intercepted in the 6th. I guess 2nd fits in with values. Tell me about your SA's and eclipses and how you think it's affecting you. Aka Kat, That's not what's going on with me at all. I'm not like other women. God, that sounds so pretentious, and it's not how I mean it AT ALL, but it's true. I haven't been reevaluating and I don't mind getting older at all. I've always been gutsy And ewww, I would not want to get pregnant or get married, lol. But I understand what you are saying. A lot of women, that's all they want and at this age they get weird about it. That's not going on here at all.

Aaagghh!! Every eclipse since Aug 2008 has either conjuncted or opposed a natal planet or angle. In Solar Arcs I’ve got all exact this year
SA Sun = Mars (square)
SA Sun = Uranus (conj)
SA Mars = Sun (conj)
SA Jup = MC (square)
SA Asc = Chiron (square)
SA Chiron = Asc (conj)
And the accumulated semi-square arc. A lot of this year has been in turmoil, the eclipse on my IC coincided with 7+ year relationship in the toilet and I can no longer be bothered trying to save it. This will ultimately affect my 4th house matters.
Its been quite a ride and plenty more to come I think.
When life hands you lemons – make lemonade! With the January eclipse affecting your MC, previous eclipse on IC and solar arcs affecting your houses 2 and 6 it sounds like you may have something brewing in the work arena. I hope you keep posting about these goings-on, you certainly have a lot of odd changes happening. It really does sound like an astrological earthquake.

WOW. You have so much SA stuff happening! Which eclipse hit your IC? If one hit your IC, chances are that one will hit your MC too. So many eclipses hit so many points in my chart, too. I can't even keep track of all of them at this point. I'm sure you can relate...
I have nothing going on with career at all. That's like the one, and only, area that's unchanged.
