Hi All, I used to post here awhile back, but got sidetracked with life. I'm happy to see that many of you who answered my questions before are still here and chatting away. My question concerns the progression chart. I only read about these charts about a week ago and ran mine on astro.com. I was surprised to see the development of a grand sextile, with a complete one appearing in March of next year. It is such a rare aspect(s) that I wanted to get your feedback, about progressions in general (I've read many of the posts on progressions, so I have some idea), if I should be focusing more on my natal chart in relation to this chart, or any challenges you might see. I was playing with dates, and this aspect began to come into play at the same time I moved to a new city to start a new career/life...I just thought that that was interesting.I've put the date as March 12, 2010. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Very rare formation. So you have to aim to be as rare and wonderful as this pattern by setting goals in areas that these sextiles and trines will help.IP: Logged |

Fabulous!!Notice the star of David pattern formed by 1, 9, 5 and 11,3,7 My guess is that these would be highly beneficial. The interesting thing about this formation is that essentially you have several grand kites attached to the trines. Both (all) of the planets in opposition are in the power position. Very interesting. Not sure what this all means, but I'm thinking relationships with yourself and others should be very good or very impactful. Could you also post your natal? welcome back. what was your original username? IP: Logged |

Thank you iQ and aka Kat for your responses. I have been researching all of these aspects, but it always helps to get a second---and third---opinion. Beyond just the rareness of it, I think the fact that I made a decision to move when this configuration came into play (with a very wide orb), and to a city that is the Mecca of networking, is too coincidental to NOT research further. Here is my natal chart: And aka Kat, I can't remember my old screen name, I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. I think it has been at least a year... IP: Logged |

Just as I thought, you have a natal grand kite. I was thinking about this post last evening because I also have a natal grand kite. I thought about what it would take for me to create this type of geometry in my own chart. My kite being in water with the opposition in earth, I would need two other planets to be in 13 degrees earth- cap and Taurus simultaneously. I searched in the ephemeris for years and years and this is not a common occurrence. At most it lasts for part of a day. It may have been activated more in my younger years and I'll need to check this also. I think the key to trying to understand this star of David type chart is to fully understanding your own kite first and then see how the other transits come to play. You will have this type of pattern anytime Gemini and Aqua have planets transiting (9-16 degrees 13 ideal) just as I would have this pattern with Taurus and Cap transiting. I found the moon is the easiest (and fastest) way to create this pattern. Surely with Jupiter in Aqua you have had this pattern each time the moon was in Gemini. So what does it mean. ugh. I have a hard enough time trying to understand my own natal kite. My guess is that Gem and Aqua being in relationship houses and dealing with communication, that these areas will be beneficial in achieving the strengths that your kite has to offer you. If everything is done in balance (lots of oppositions) something fabulous should take place even for a moment in time. I was just noticing that you don't have a true star of David(natally) because of 0 degrees Gemini. 12/13 degrees would be better to balance out the 9 and 16 degree aspects of the other planets, but this is still a great aspect.
