I have 2 close friends and a bf with Capricorn moon, and some of the things they have in common-- Especially the girls but guys also, treat both sexes equally. They are not kinder or easier on girls just because they are girls. - It is important for them to have friends from both sexes and they treat people with respect. They can be a little bit unemotional sometimes but never disrespectful. - They can be very hardworking. - And the most interesting one- They know how to make people feel welcome when they have friends over- they make perfect hosts. However, they expect the same from people if they are invited to some event- food, drinks, music, etc IP: Logged |

Good ones! I'm a Cappie moon and I agree with your observations. Capricorn moons show they care by doing things for you/helping They're very loyal and expect loyalty in return otherwise they can be very unforgiving and hold grudges for a long time They're good at handling their finances; you never have to tell someone with a Capricorn moon to save for a rainy day IP: Logged |

I have Cap moon too and I never thought about the gender equality thing but it's true. I attributed it to aquarian influences but now that I think about it, Cap suns I know are the same way.One thing I have seen in myself and other Cap moons is a level of emotional sangfroid or ruthlessness. Gentleness and softness are there but I know that I can wipe away anyone that has done damage to me. It takes a lot to get there, but from that point on, the offender is dead to me. Other cap moon traits I have noted- The most scathing insults are available to us and they are usually in the form of honest observations of character flaws making them the worst kind of insult. Delivery is always matter of fact. Loyalty and commitment is unwavering in most cases. Like to be useful and use hard work to avoid inner emotional turmoil. All caps I know are very wounded but won't show it. Prefer not to discuss our emotional baggage. In communication, very matter of fact again and very honest in my experience. Most people I know with cap influence are either cap suns or water signs with cap moons. Almost all of my cap moon friends have moon square uranus in libra. Oh, capricorns rival gemini for having an excellent sense of humor and when both are prominent they are very charming. IP: Logged |

Good observations guys!Definitely true, I always save for a rainy day. Actually for me, it isnt so much for a rainy day...but money managing (trouble shooting) for the future, so I would be able to continue pursuing my line of work without running into serious financial setbacks. Frugal living is not easy even for a Cappy moon, but like anything does take hard work. It's true, I do treat both sexes, everyone fairly and am extremely loyal until someone abuses my trust. If that happens, I am able to walk away with no strings attached (even if you had been my bestfriend for the last 10yrs). However I never hold a grudge cause it really takes a LOT to p*ss me off. The reason I can walk away is cause...the way I see it; Time & Energy = Money, and if your undeserving of my energy...I could better utilize my own time improving myself. People often think I'm aloof & cold...it's not true, I just dont think it's necessary to express myself in an EMO way, (like airing dirty laundry). I would rather spend time thinking up solutions to solve the problem than crying/b*tching/talking about it. IP: Logged |

-They really respect well-educated people.-They don't like to be pitied. So they avoid talking about their problems. -They don't like it when people display emotional weakness. -They are rational and it makes them strong. IP: Logged |

I'm a capricorn moon and I agree with most of the things said here."One thing I have seen in myself and other Cap moons is a level of emotional sangfroid or ruthlessness. Yeap I can really detach from people who betray me or did something to p*ss me off. The only thing I don't agree with is saving money for a rainy day. I'm a disaster with money and is extremely hard for me to save, and I hardly think about the future for money issues. I always think that, even if I don't have money, somehow, everything will be OK. (and I'm a cancer sun, go figure). Also, I don't like to appear weak and whiny people annoy me. Isn't Cappy Moon kind of similar to Aqua Moon/Sun or am I the only one that thinks that?

This is so true! I have cut people out of my life who I've known for years because they betrayed me. I forgive a lot of offenses but some people cross a line with me and at that point, there is no turning back. Yeah, I think Aqua and Cap moons are quite similar. One of my friends is an Aqua moon and we have identical reactions to situations. We're both very unemotional and talk about topics that make others cringe while we won't even bat an eye. I also agree about the sense of humor. Capricorn moons have very good comic timing and a dry sense of humor that can actually leave other people laughing heartily. I don't like to see others depressed, so I tend to use my deadly Gemini/Capricorn combo to help them see the brighter side of a bad situation. I've also noticed that others tend to rely on me. I had one friend actually describe me as "a pillar of strength." Cap moons are rock solid and you can depend on them for anything. There is nothing I won't do for a good friend. Day or night, rain or shine--my friends know I'm there for them. IP: Logged |

Cap moon here additionally a friend of mine has moon in Capricorn. I've noticed that Cap mooners respond well to pressure and become a calming influence in stressful situations and make good leaders.IP: Logged |

The man that I love is a Gemini/cappy moon and I am a cancer/gemini moon. For the last year, he has been un able to open up to me about his feelings because I broke his heart. But he is unable to let me go. Its kind of rediculous now. I know he loves me, but either he cant say it or he is scared. Is that similar to your observations?IP: Logged |

I have a cappy moon square saturn so I've got a double capricorn influence on that planet. I think I express some of the more negative traits. Like someone already mention I'm extremely loyal, but I expect the same back and when someone lets me down or crosses me I never really forgive them. I'm the type to carry a grudge to my deathbed. I'm a great person to have on your side in a fight, because I will stand up for a loved one till the end. I never give up or give in. I am not especially hard working or responsible(libra sun?). I tend to be really pessimistic and harbor a lot of anger and bitterness. I trust no one and really don't believe in most other people. I also have a very coldblooded and cruel side, I can cut my emotions almost completely off when need be.IP: Logged |

I also agree heartily with the "never wanting to look weak". That would be my worst nightmare. I'm also incredibly recourcful and because of that other people want to depend and lean on me alot and try to use my strength for their own. I always deeply resent this when it's a man who does it for I will always see him as weak and pathetic and I'll cut ties very fast in most circumstances. I cannot stand weak, whiney people who feel sorry for themselves and do nothing to help themselves. Because of this I usually can't stand cancers and pisceas, sorry.IP: Logged |

what i post here has previously been typed by lalalinda. it's about moon square and opp. saturn, not precisely cap moon, but i find it relevant because moon rules the sign opposite to the one ruled by saturn. Moon opposite Saturn Moon square or opposition Saturn (Karen Hamaker-Zondag) Tense aspects draw attention more strongly to vulnerable aspects of a personality. When people have the hard aspects, each time they look for comfort and safety (Moon), they are inevitably confronted with their weaknesses, fears, and uncertainties (Saturn). Emotional inhibitions and difficulties with emotional expression are quite common under these aspects. These people struggle with a sense of loneliness and often with an inferiority complex as well. Anxiety and possibly mistrust will affect behavior. They take a rather gloomy view of everything, preferring to expect the worst because then the unexpected will always be an improvement; and, in fact, are particularly prone to do so where the emotional world (Moon) and the need for security are concerned. For women, these are difficult aspects. Their femininity is not easy for them to handle. Even though many can create the impression of being superwomen, they lack inner composure. Another mode of expression is very mannish behavior. Saturn's hard aspects can lead to extremes. Self-control is considerable with these aspects, also the capacity for hard work, self-discipline and level-headedness. People with conflicts between the Moon and Saturn can be very creative in fashioning things. Their inferiority feelings, and their fears that what they make will never be perfect, are likely to haunt them to some extent; but they can produce first-class work once they set their minds to it. Although these are active aspects (which the tense aspects always are), Saturn can be so inhibitive that either the natives' activities are paralysed at the very beginning or they avoid spreading their interests. Given their sensitivity, they cannot afford to risk making too many mistakes. Shyness is common in these aspects, while the persistent search for some ideal form in which to express themselves makes them initially impractical and inefficient: owing to uncertainty they try their hand at all sorts of things when they are young, being unable to settle down anywhere. Dread of the unknown can keep them static and clinging to pet ideas; therefore they strike others as hard and unbending. However, once these people have made the effort to break out of their hard shells they will be all the tougher for the experience, well equipped to patiently withstand the adversities life may bring, and they will work successfully under the most trying circumstances. For durability and staying power are Saturn's good side, which falls within their reach once we have come to terms with it. IP: Logged |

I'm a Capricorn Moon with an Aqua Sun/Libra Rising.I agree with a lot of what is said here, except I am also a disaster with money like Lehia, lol. Maybe it's my darned Uranus singleton in the 2nd house? I do air my dirty laundry quite a bit -- i feel I have nothing to hide and i guess because I'm quite objective, I can discuss things that would make others cringe without batting an eyelid (someone else said that and I just thought YES!!!). I'm always the calm one amidst the hysteria and people do lean on me quite a bit... for help, reassurance, advice. I don't mind. But I do get a little tired of being the 'strong one' because everyone always assumes I'm doing so well, so when things do fall apart, I'm not good at asking for help, I feel pathetic... and I feel judged or like people don't know what to do with me... I've broken down crying in front of someone I dated for a long time and he looked aghast, and sputtered... "I've... i've never seen you like this... you're usually so tough"... and through my tears I whined "I'm tired of being tough!"... I never thought I am really one to hold a grudge, but I guess I am. i have cut people off I have been extraordinarily close to, but each time, I was really pushed over the ledge. You don't come back from stuff like that, not even in soap operas, sorry. you are dead to me. Dead. I am deeply loyal and definitely someone that can be counted on. If my friend needs it and I can do it, it's done. It's that simple. As is typical for Capricorn Moons, I can and do think with my head, a lot of times i scare myself with how analytical and practical I can be with my decisions in love matters. I may feel it in my heart, it may be tearing me apart... but i will always do what my head tells me is the right thing. Always. IP: Logged |

I can really identify with the themes here, especially the one about not giving second chances to people who hurt you in some way. I am talking as someone with Moon exactly conjunct Saturn (not in Cappy) but am able to identify with the Cappy Moon theme nicely.I cut a friend of ten years out of my life without a second thought when they hurt me. I didn't waste time discussing it or giving chances. It was final. I just coldly walked away. Other friends seemed shocked that there was no attempt by me to patch things up but like other people here have already said, it was over... big time! Dead! I absolutely do not give second chances to people like that. On the positive side of things my 11 year old son is a Cappy Moon. Today, he called at the shop after school with some left over lunch money. He didn't have enough to buy the treat he wanted but brought home a little bag of chocolate buttons for his toddler brother instead. I was touched by how thoughtful that was. Shows you that Cappy Moons do have a heart! IP: Logged |

I have Capricorn Moon as well, and agree with a lot that's been stated but.. come on, how about the Capricorn sensuality, lol. Aren't you all forgetting something? It is an earth sign after all, and most of us are damn hot. I'm always surprised by how many leading men with Capricorn Moons are singled out as the main lusted-for objects: Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Brad Pitt. Ryan Gosling is another, but he's young yet. (We won't mention Hitler or Dave Letterman) - but Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett Capricorn Moons as well. Pretty funny 3 major players of late night talk.Anyway, I have Pisces Sun and Leo Rising as well and I feel really balanced. If I didn't have a big earth somewhere there I'd be a bit lost since my chart is mostly air. IP: Logged |

Lemme think of some women examples..OK one that I see a lot is Kate Hudson, she has that Capricorn smoldering sensuality about her, you have to watch for it though. Susan Sarandon, who has Capricorn rising as well. you know what I mean, it's back burner heat, not up front but it slowly inflames. A big name is Aishwarya Rai. ooh Kim Basinger to me is so spot on Capricorn Moon heat. Stevie Nicks, too. Oh and Nina Simone, love her. IP: Logged |

That is really interesting, I have really strong facial features... in particular, REALLY HIGH CHEEKBONES AND STRONG JAWLINE... I always attributed it to my 1st house Pluto?Maybe its the Cappy moon? The only Cappy moon female that comes to mind immediately is Christie Brinkley, and I think of her just because her Sun/Moon/ASC are just like mine Aqua/Capricorn/Libra... and SHE has high cheekbones too! I think Sarah Jessica Parker is an Aries with Capricorn Moon come to think of it, and she also has really strong bone structure in the face. Very interesting! How do you all look? lol. IP: Logged |

The strong structure can definitely be attributed to the Capricorn Moon, that's one of the main ways I can suss one out, in person. It's a mark of Saturn but I'm still a big believer that you can see the Moon in someone by looks. Another one is the down turned corners of the mouth when they smile. Or begin to smile, or in place of a smile like kinda holding it in a bit..tends to be a mark of Saturn but I see it a lot in them. And me I have super strong structure like you! another lil thing I noticed with them is when they smile, OK not being mean its not all the time and not on all of 'em, but when they do their cheeks and nose tend to look abnormally large. I mean it sounds funny but an avg person when they smile their features will still be in proportion just moved around a bit.. the Cap moons throw it out there. Another one is Reese Witherspoon: OK talk about structure! oh and i've just seen on the news Johnny Depp winning sexiest man alive this yr for the 2nd time lol. he's taking over. edit: my combo is on astrofaces, i'm the 2nd picture posted (pisces/capricorn/leo) IP: Logged |
