yes, I think, Philia is a love based on a love for the other person`s character, just for their personality, not necessarily out of a feeling of responsibility (Ceres) or sexual (Eros) or romantic (Valentine).
Maybe that is why it is called friendship love?

Yes, I would interprete it the same way.
Of course just from a purely astrological point of view, and it has nothing to do with possible wishful thinking.

I think you mean Psyche.
Persephone was the one who had been kidnapped by Pluto / Hades, but as it seems she "needed" to be kidnapped to detach from her mother, to mature into a full grown woman and to find love (in Pluto).

I don`t know who would feel it more. You would feel it differently I think. The Philia person would mostly feel appreciation and friendship for the other one, and if the aspects are harmonious, the feelings of friendship might be pretty easy and harmonious, too.
With your Philia squaring his NN it is maybe difficult for you to develop an apprectiation for the direction he is taking in life?
Or it is difficult to combine your feelings of friendship with his lifepath?

With the DW of Philia-Vesta, there might - at least at a certain time - have been a (wish for) a committed friendship, like you were devoted friends, or at least tried to be?

I actually think the romance comes more from Venus or Valentine connections.
Pluto-persephone / Proserpina is more intense, passionate and transformative.

Of course it depends how you would define "romantic". But Pluto-Persephone has its dark overtones; after all Pluto forces Persephone into the underworld. Even though Persephone might have needed it, it was not a really gentle and soft thing to do.

Not sure when the asteroid was discovered most probably pretty recently so I would use it to describe the bond of friendship in a relationship

You are absolutely right about this.

My ideas were:

AMICITIA, PHILIA for friendship

CONSTANTIA, SEMPER, AETERNITAS as an indication for that which lasts

FIDES, FIDUCIA for faithfulness

DEVOTA, DESIDERATA would maybe indicate what you are devoted to or what you desire.
Maybe DEsiderata could also mean where you are desireable?

That seems like a pretty intense and even challenging configuration, espeically the Spirit squaring the super intense Pluto / Kaali /Tut-conjunction.
Did he have traumatic spiritual experiences, before he found the right spiritual path for him?
Well, at the very least it indicates that strong and vehement transformations have been or are still taking place in his life, which may also include darker aspects of spirit. Of course this constellations also shows his ability to deal with these shadow-sides, too. I think it may be an aspect of much spiritual power with the challenge to not abuse it or let himself be manipulated by it.

Just a thought that crossed my mind, when I saw this aspect.

LOL It is just NOW that I realize I have Pluto squaring Spirit myself (with Spirit being conjunct Guinevere, Venus, Isis and Osiris). LOL I better shut up now.

Anyway what I wanted to say is, the fact that your Philia is aspecting this challenging configuration of his seems to show that you can be very understanding of this, a true friend. I don´t know though, what the fact that all the synastric aspects are challenging means.

first consider the major ones and then add them bit by bit. PRobably it is a good idea to see if they fall into similiar category, though.

I mean something like:

1. Same mythology (either egyptian or Roman / Greek or Babylonian)

2. Similiar symbolism (Venus, Aphrodite or Persephone, Proserpina)

3. Similiar archetypes (feminine archetype, masculine archetype, witchcraft, artists etc.)

4. similiar themes (Romance, sexual attraction, friendship, family-love etc.)

For example:
I have a lot of asteroids surrounding my Sun and Moon; among them are Sekhmet, Kleopatra, Nofretete and Ubasti - so these would indicate a clear Egyptian theme plus are important in regards to the archetypical feminine.

But there are also:
Calypso, Circe, Merlin, and the Draco Hekate, Draco Lilith
those are all asteroids / figures having to do with witchcraft or magic, some of them in the darker regards.
