A planet is angular if it falls in the following houses: 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th. Those are the angular houses because an angle marks their beginning. The ASC is the cusp of the 1st house. The IC is the cusp of the 4th. The DSC is the cusp of the 7th. The MC is the cusp of the 10th. When planets fall in those houses, they're said to be strengthened, a dominant part of your personality. Uranus is, among other things, the planet of individuality. So if you have it angular, then Uranus is strengthened, likely making you more independent. IP: Logged |

Almost all my planets are angular. I had no idea it was a big deal unless they were conjunct the angle. Is it a big deal?IP: Logged |

Dep -Wow, what strong angles you have! Sun, Moon, NN, and Pluto. Things must be feeling pretty intense in there! Sorry, I have no sites to recommend. That's something I should look into myself, as well. You could just read the regular sign descriptions, and think of them as being on steroids. Diana -
I think particular angular planets are always strong in someone's personality, even when they're not involved in any narrow aspects. Having mostly angular planets could mean that your personality is very cardinal, even if you don't have cardinal personal planets. This could mean that you like to take the initiative and are goal-oriented. IP: Logged |

let me say that your very good. i mean you nailed me to the ground. except the part about change ecause i hate when things stay the same lol. other then that everything seems to ring true for me. yess things can get intense inside but the i the aquarian side of me kicks in and i just become distant. i much rather love people as friends i dont like romantic relationships at all. i have alot of squares actually most of them involving those 3 planets including my NN. i have sun square moon and pluto square NN i also find it intresting that all those planets including NN are fixed signs. man im stubborn. i feel like im talking about myself too much. what are your angular planets jane. diana
wow all your planets are angular holy **** damn. IP: Logged |

You like change? You sound like my kind of Taurus. Or should I say, you sound like the only kind of Taurus that puts up with me.

Jane, I guess I am a bit cardinal-like. DepT, I don't have 'all' my planets angular (thank god!) but a little over half of them. mars, neptune, jupiter, venus in 7th. venus is at the end of the 7th. saturn conjunct AC. Sun in 10th. Lucky me

DepTaurus, This is a website of reliable information especially for beginners. The following link takes you to the page about angular houses. You can explore the other links for planets in signs and houses. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/AngularHouses.htm When I look at a friend's chart where I think the birthtime is off and the planets are on the cusp (4 minutes can shift 1 degree), I look up the descriptions here to make an accurate adjustment.

I think angular planets are planets conjunct any of the four angles (Asc, IC, Desc. and MC). One thing is a planet in an angular house, but a planet conjunct an angle is even stronger. IP: Logged |
