You should always look at the nuts and bolts astrology before looking at asteroids, etc. So forget anything other than planets and angles for the moment.

It also depends on the orbs you're talking about. How close are these aspects?

I'll give you my thoughts. What stood out to me are:

Both Aries rising--that would give you a natural harmony with each other, a feeling of comfort with who the Other is. You instinctively like what you see.

Asc opposition venus--that means Venus is conjunct the Descendant. Very favorable and love/relationship oriented, but again, it would be nice to know how close.

Asc opposition moon--again, the Moon is conjunct the Descendant. Same as above.

Descendant conjunct vertex--Nice! A fated, relationship-oriented encounter. Who is the Vertex person?

MC Conjunct Saturn:--the MC represents public life, social standing, the limelight persona so to speak. I would see that as a good aspect since Saturn is karma. MC can also sometimes represent marriage.

MC Conjunct Uranus:--Eh. Uranus is tricky, depending on where it is. Here it could be good or bad depending on other aspects in the chart. Orb matters too.

MC Conjunct Neptune--People have different opinions on Neptune. Here I think of it as good. Fulfillment of dreams and ideals relating to social status, public aspirations, and again, perhaps marriage.

Juno Conjunct Sun--very favorable if it is your Juno conjunct his Sun.

Juno Conjunct Venus--Same as above.

Eros conjunct Pluto--Hmmm. I'll count Eros here since this is a strong aspect. Indicates an intense and passionate love that is also transformational. Obsession?

If the orbs are tight, that is definitely some strong synastry. Quite possibly soulmate synastry in my humble opinion. I'm sure someone else will weigh in. It would be nice to know about the houses? Any 5th, 7th, 8th, or even 12th house action?

How do you feel about him?

If you post the chart you will get a lot more responses.

Any close conjunctions to the luminaries (Sun/Moon) are significant, I would say. Composite Sun in the 5th house is lovely! In a composite the Sun is like the "reason for being" of the relationship, so in the house of romance I would say that is very, very positive! I have composite Sun in the 7th house with my guy, with is also very nice to have since the 7th house is the house of partnership/marriage.

Oh boy, now I can really relate to your last statement. I was with my ex for over 2 years and never had the emotional response to him that I have to my current guy, even though things started out much faster with my ex.

That just means your ex wasn't for you. It doesn't mean he was bad for you, just not "the one." It's so obvious when someone with whom we are more compatible on a soul level comes along because once the relationship develops it's like WHOA.

Here's our synastry and composite

Oh and orb, um I just got the details from the starmate report (ahaha =X) from Anne Massey (I think they use Koch if I remember)

I just realised his vertex and my mercury are real close together too o_O (we do find it effortless to talk to each other though)

Hope the images come through.

Your Vertex, Moon, Venus on his Descendant are all sublime.

I see some other stuff you didn't mention: his Sun is conjunct your Nadir, you have a Moon/Pluto conjunction in your 8th house (his 7th), and like you said, you're activating his Vertex with your Mercury. Sounds like a very intense relationship.

I didn't realize Neptune and Uranus were retrograde on his MC. Doesn't retrograde bring out the darker aspects of those planets? Hmmm. Not too sure about those now.

You also have Sun opposite Uranus. I haven't heard too many good things about that but it can be overcome with other nice aspects.

That Mars opposition Mars is interesting. I have that with someone and we had crazy physical chemistry. The sex was incredible.

Mars opposed Mars
The opposition of Mars in your charts suggests that the relationship is marked by impulsive behavior. There is a tendency for both parties to be a bit self-centered and aggressive. There is a likelihood of frequent quarrels, often from a sense of competition. The handling of business affairs can produce conflicts. As you both mature, however, there can be effective cooperation in action related to these affairs.

Sun opposed Uranus
This comparative combination often produces a serious clash of wills. Uranus wants freedom and independence and the Sun tends to be authoritarian. If you want to get along, there must be a strict appreciation of space and an unconditional acceptance of independent ways.

Lara,
Can I ask where you got your synastry interpretations from? I wouldn't mind looking at some of ours.

Lol we've actually experienced times where we had misunderstandings lol, but we got past it and it's now good.

Oh and yes, we give each other lots of space, I'm not the demanding insecure type that clings on, so think it helps cos he likes alot of space. So that Uranus aspect is fine thank god.

I have checked however, that we have quite a few aspects that indicate harmony and compromise too, so that should be able to balance the opposition in mars right?

Hi!

disclaimer: my very biased opinion coming up! it may or may not turn out accurate in your case.

If you were older - and had already had a failed marriage with a Libran.. I'd say - this may just be the man you were looking for.

But judging by your age and your chart - there will be an important Libran male in your life... and since this guy isn't him, I'm not sure what to make of it - it may be fleeting or end in friendship-only.

This is just based on my experience with stelliums. My grandpa - a Virgo with Moon/Mercury/Venus in Libra married my Libra grandma. Multiple Pisces men with either Moon/Mercury or Mercury/Venus or Venus/Mars in Aries or all of the above are attracted to me (I'm an Aries sun). Plus, I know countless examples of people belonging to other adjacent signs like Taurus/Gemini and Leo/Cancer – who are also married or in serious relationships.

Well since the nuts and bolts astrology shows a bond, then yes, the next step is to check asteroids and...

HOLY SMOKES! That Eros/Psyche conjunction...in the 7th house...CRAZY spectacular. Incredible synastry really. Definitely, definitely a soulmate. They say Venus/Pluto is needed to confirm twins but you all are giving "twins" a run for their money. At least I think so. It could only be more perfect if you were Psyche instead. It definitely warrants further investigation.

If you are lucky IQ will pop in here and give you some thoughts on the asteroids and perhaps overall chart. He's the asteroid man. Sun/Karma is nothing to sneeze at either.

Looking good!
