The thing that is so difficult about guessing a rising sign is that you need to determine areas of that person's life that are most significant and important. Is it his fame and reputation being in the public? - 10th house. His education, knowledge, being a professor, being published? - 9th house
His personality and he himself? - 1st house. His values and wealth? - 2nd house. Ability to educate the general public? - 3rd house. His work alone? - 6th house. and so on.

If he is a Leo asc that means Pluto would be on the ASC.

He would have NN in the 3rd too. I guess we will never know. I think his wife could be a Pisces rising though.
