A major positive shake up, Self-Empowerment etc are needed.

Do not forget the role of mass media as well, who program people that if they dont achieve X,Y Z by age 40, then they are losers.

In Biblical times, 150 year olds were considered teenagers. People were very happy in those days even though there was no air conditioning nor mobile phones!

I think he just needs plenty of friends to cheer him up, and a vacation in an exotic locale. Astrologically, there are no negative transits at the moment. Even the Tr Uranus conj Chiron in Pisces is over.

So sweet of you to seek help for your brother. I noticed straight away from his chart the conjunction of Chiron and Saturn in Pisces squaring his Moon and NN. He needs to attend to his wounds and his issues, I expect it could be just one incident which made him silently lose hope; it seems he has shut the door on the universe.

Does he find it difficult or impossible to open up to others? I suspect that he finds it difficult to interact with people on an interpersonal level which as IQ states, is essentially suppressing his life force, he is a Leo Sun Gemini Moon, intellectually curious and social - he needs to shine. Is he highly judgmental of himself? I see that his career is beneficial to him, being a chef allows for the expression of the creative side of him. He strongly needs this creative outlet in his life; perhaps you could suggest some kind of evening class in the arts where he can meet like minded people?

I also see the conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in Virgo in his chart. I have noticed this before, though generational, these people can be quite aloof and don't like to be tied down, though their spirit craves intimacy it equally strongly values freedom.

As for Chiron in Pisces, this points towards a need for belief in something which bring meaning to his life, be that love, a belief system or even tools for self-understanding, including Astrology. I feel he’s very curious about life and will probably enjoy exploring and learning more about himself with such a caring brother by his side. I feel being out in the natural environment will be strongly beneficial to him too.
