I was wondering if someone would be able to look at the charts of myself and my SO and offer some insight as to how we can work on the challenging t-squares/squares in our relationship. Although we've known each other for only for a few months, it feels we've been together forever. We both agree that we must have known each other before in another lifetime. We're very much in love with each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together. When I look at him, I see the father of my future children. We have some nice aspects like:

My Mercury conj his Jupiter exact
Venus (my IC ruler) conj Mars (his DC ruler)
AC/MC - DC/IC conjunction
His Venus/AC ruler (which conjuncts his MC) conjuncts my AC
My Pluto widely conj His AC (though, he has Pluto conjunct AC in natal, so not sure if this is a good thing)
Moon opp. moon conj mercury (I take this can be a good or bad thing. Our moons are also rulers of angles in our natals)

And other nice, sextiles and trines between planets.

However, I also notice that most of our synastry is made up of oppositions and squares, which is abit of a concern for me. I'm used to the challenging aspects in my own chart but I'm not sure about him. He has only one t-square in his.

I like interpreting Synastry aspects, fiona. Because I believe that no matter the position the planets and house position are in, the aspects between the two will always remain the same. Therefore, for me, I believe that the quality of the unit is based on the quality of the cast of aspects found in your Synastry chart. Although important, this excludes grand squares and trines. Now, if I may.

I would like you to know that the two of you have in the Synastry attraction planets, what people wish and pray for. You have (M 120 MR, MR 0 VE) and you have MR 120 P and S 120 NP supporting them. This is the stuff that songs are written about.

Sadly, though, the overall cocktail mix in your relationship drink does not blend well. Extract the absolutely wonderful aspect influences above and the picture turns upside down. First in the Synastry chart, his VE is not aspected. Secondly his JP is in a weak state of being. These two indicators suggest that somewhere in the future he may begin to feel incomplete (This is not your fault, rather you guys as a unit would be producing these influences). And then, the issues begin to seep in, first, disagreements on ideas start, followed by the failed efforts in trial and error of ideas. Next, the possibility of distancing yourselves wants to settle in, according to the MR 180 NP indicator. And then the part that everyone hates, the MR 90 M aspect which suggest influences that bringing out the worst in both of you. And this aspect is supported by the S 90 MR influence.

But all is not lost. For your relationship also has a redeeming quality about it. S 60 MY, S 60 P, SA 120 NP and, SA 60 P represent influences that help you think and work your way through problems. The MY 120 MR and the MY 0 JP influences will have you laughing through the obstacle course while you inspire each other on.

If we shake up your relationship cocktail, fiona, we might see it turn to gray. When we sample it, it may taste exquisite! In the real world, reading about aspects don't matter, only what good you manage to do for each other and how long you can manage to do it, is what counts.

My question is, what can i do to make up for the lack of connections to his chart ruler? What can i do so that he does not feel "incomplete" in the future?

A SMALL REMINDER ABOUT ASPECTS:

Hi fiona,

When it comes to being with people we meet for the first time, it takes about three years to see the real relationship present itself.

Year 1. -> is all giggles and smiles. We tend to be on our best behavior.

Year 2. -> we begin taking notice of the little things that annoy us. But we remain silent about them.

Year 3. -> everything real in the relationship is out in the open. Arguments and bickering are not held back. On the other hand, if the relationship has the foundation of a solid union, the positives about it will accentuate themselves. This is when you make decisions.

Don't take my word for this, but I suggest stop worrying and live your life to the fullest by making the best out of each moment of the day. And accept what we all must learn to accept, taking the bad with the good. I can guarantee you, fiona, that if you had the best chart in the world, it would have some critical aspect flaws in it. The chart is good for giving you a heads up on the possibilities within that union. After that, fiona, it is all up to you and whomever, to go for the gusto!
