Aries - as a sign - is very competitive.
It is true that they like to compete and win. But they generally have a very healthy self-esteem and do not perceive anyone as "better" than them in any way.
Even when they happen to lose a competition, they still have a firm belief that they haven't lost the war.

So Aries is basically TOO self-loving to be jealous of another person.

Jealousy implies that you would have a belief, however small that the object of your jealousy is in some way "better" than you are. You can never hammer into the head of an Aries influenced person - that someone out there could be "better".

Many Aries get put off if their GF tries to make them jealous...

The reaction to seeing this GF with another guy would not be: "Oh no my perfect woman is with another man.. why does he get to have her whilst I do not?"

The reaction goes more like: "This person who I THOUGHT was my perfect woman has turned out to be a complete moron who does NOT appreciate me more than that LOSER, and if she is truly that stupid - then she can have the loser. It's her loss."

On the other hand, if the Aries person is in the initial, dating, phases and the girl is also dating other people, he may see this as a competition with the other guy(s) - and want to win (in the same manner that he would want to win a game of pool or anything else). But this would become a game to Aries. They still wouldn't be "jealous".

If another man "won" the game, Aries would continue to hold a strong belief that they are special and much better than the next guy anyway.

At BEST (an Aries person with extra Piscean influence) - would be 'tame' or humble enough to believe himself to be equal to others... but definitely NOT "less than"

The Scorpio placements that a particular person has (those parts of their chart) would drive them to want to own you. So if we are talking personal planets in Scorpio, they would want to "possess" their lovers mind, body & soul.

I am not saying that all Scorpio influenced people would act upon this instinct, but the instinct as such is to "possess". It is not an instinct of jealousy.

Scorpio is an extremely psychologically complicated sign in contrast to both Aries and Leo. I am not referring to Sun Signs here (obviously an Aries or Leo person may have Scorpio placements and vice-versa). The Scorpion is a symbol of birth, life, death, rebirth. The circle of life. They take sex extremely seriously and they take their partner extremely seriously.

When they are *with* someone, they are with that person 101%. They give everything of themselves and expect everything in return. They don't do half measures. Scorpio is also highly emotional, being a water sign, so sex and the connection between two people has emotional meaning to them.

I know a Scorpio man who locked himself in his house for about a week and refused to eat & drink after a breakup. Eventually he was taken to a hospital. Very self-destructive..

So whatever you may see as jealousy in Scorpio, goes a lot deeper. When the partner has cheated, the feeling is something more akin to disappointment but it is a deeply emotional disappointment.
When they think the partner "may" cheat - that thought makes them physically ill.. because emotionally it means so much to them that they own their object of affection - that they can't conceive of such deceit.

They often come across as jealous due to the constant "warnings". Scorpio tends to "warn" their lovers a lot, usually in a subtle manner.. because they know themselves well enough to know that once a slight occurs.. it couldn't be forgiven.

In fact, he has a live-in relationship with a woman, although they are not a couple. However, he says he has "maintenance" sex with her, and even calls her a "pump."

He also has infrequent sex with his ex, as well as prostitutes, all while trying to maintain a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with someone else.

So, I think Scorpios (obviously just some) are able to detach sexually if they choose to.

Yes, that's me! Same Sun and Moon also.
It has to be the combi of this Sun & Moon, because I can't think of anything more in my chart that would indicate jealousy (EXCEPT for Pluto RIGHT on my Sun/Moon midpoint maybe).
And...I know some Leo's that aren't jealous at all.

My sister is Aries with Moon in Scorp + ascendant Scorp + venus in aries + exact pluto/venus opp. + pluto/mars square + pluto/ascendant semisext + pluto/merc inconj.

My sister is a Sag with cap venus and she is kind of jealous but only in a competitive way like you. She hates open relationships though.

As a scorp sun I see open relationships as an interesting way to see where a relationship will go when it has no restrictions or boundaries. Maybe it's because I have scorpio in sun-pluto-saturn all in 5th- so it's like a game sometimes. Especially if I really like the person, of course it's kind of self-destructive when I keep denying the fact that I do get jealous and all the uncertainty becomes unbearable. But I have too much mars to just be feminine and express those kind of feelings.

2 Pisces suns I know are very honest when it comes to expressing their jealousy through words or even violence.

Aries Sun/Cap Moon/Gem Asc lol

Lately I attract Scorpio/Leo mixes (sometimes with a touch of Libra) so I've been observing them lol..
The stuff about Aries men is just intuition - I'm taking my ego and multiplying it by 10 lol

Interesting. My most jealous SO was - Libra Sun/Cap Moon&Asc + Mecury/Saturn/Pluto in Scorpio and Virgo Mars.

I'm actually not at all jealous.. so I don't deal very well with guys who are.

I guess I don't mind giving people space.
I have lots of male friends. I generally end up surrounded by guys with not so many female friends (although I'm def. not the "boys girl" who resents female friends, it just seems to happen this way).

This sort of thing wouldn't bother me because I would assume that he was doing what I normally do.. which is very *surface*. The guys I'm friends with don't mean anything to me on that level. I'd assume that the girl/s he is talking to, are the same for him.
