I had to post Julie Demboski's weekend forecast. Her interpretations of the transits and how they might play out are awesome. Please check out her website/blog...http://juliedemboski.wordpress.com/

Weekend Forecast-The Perfect Emotional Storm

The wee hours of Friday December 11th PST bring a lot of activity and set the internal stage for the next few days. The Libra Moon kicks it off by touching the midpoint of the Mars/ Sun trine=the emotions are caught between the need to act out with aggression/ assertion, and the need to maintain one’s dignity and identity. This is swiftly followed by a Finger of God formed as the Moon quincunxes both Sedna and Uranus=the emotional state may become a conduit for the energies of Sedna and Uranus as they work together, temporarily blinding us to our own uniqueness, and to the possible consequences of rebellion–anarchy’s embrace may be very appealing at this point, and the feelings may be ripe for exploitation by energies that have recently been denied satisfaction–if you’ve been ‘holding it in’ in some way, this could be the time when it gets out! Simultaneously we see the Libra Moon trine the meld of Chiron/ Jupiter as well as creating a T-square with the Nodes=the temptation may be to exaggerate one’s wounds as well as painting them in a ‘this is my destiny’ light; the potentials to fuel upset mount with each Moon contact. Then we see the Moon trine Neptune, making even more mischief by igniting the imagination, perhaps enlivening delusion or fantasy, as well, and then the Moon quincunxes Juno, requiring the emotional reality to adjust to our actual empowerment needs which, after this chain reaction of internal events, could be like a splash of cold water as we get a reality check on our true position and power potential. This last aspect perfects in the 3 PM hour PST, meaning that this set of influences describes Friday for everyone but those mid- and far West in the Americas–for them, it’s the set-up to the evening.

We all may reach Friday night feeling more than a little bedraggled; we’ve been through the perfect emotional storm, and the brief Void doesn’t help us get our bearings. The Moon’s entry into Scorpio in the 9 PM hour PST, and her immediate conjunction to Pallas at 00, may spell us being hard on ourselves–we may expect that we should pull it all together immediately, and get to the bottom of why Friday’s energies and our reactions were a little off, if not loopy or even hostile, but embracing the mystery, and our own wisdom, without an expectation that we need to act, may be the most healing thing we can do.

Around midnight PST the Moon sextiles Pluto, stirring up the depths, then sextiles Vesta; with this combination the challenge is to excavate in a way that respects what’s sacred, the home, and one’s intimate contacts. We may juggle these energies through to afternoon PST–by the 3 PM hour the Moon sextiles Mercury, and whatever we’ve been contemplating is communicated in no uncertain terms; the words may be harsher than we intend (Scorpio) and carry an air of finality (Capricorn) that if we’re not careful we may end up regretting.

Pressures ease off (as much as they can when the Moon transits the sign of the Scorpion!) for Saturday evening, and things may have a more pleasant air than we expect them to. 7 AMish PST Sunday we’re right back in the thick of it, though, with the Moon’s square to Mars; whatever angers, aggressions, and resentments that have been stirred up over the past couple of days will all come forward–not the kind of surprise we want with breakfast. We may see lots of sputtering sparks but few fireworks, though, as this begins the Dark of the Moon period. The day continues under mixed influences, with definite strain provided by the squares to Chiron, Jupiter, and Neptune, but at the same time a Grand Trine is formed with the Moon, South Node, and Uranus, and this may be our best opportunity to balance and express the past with the emotional state and the urges to both individuality and rebellion. No extremes will be evident if we play our transiting aspect cards right. The day winds down with the Moon’s trine to Juno–even though it’s been a tumultuous few days, we may come out the other side with a genuine sense of emotional empowerment, and a feeling that we can tackle whatever the week brings, though we shouldn’t meet events pre-New Moon very aggressively–it’s just not necessary, as taking a more contemplative approach will be much more effective.
