Weekly Weather December 14, 2009

It is one of those Ah-HA! Weeks. You’ll have a few major Ah-HA moments where you understand things you never did before. Sun and Venus both square and fight with Uranus as they chat with the Gang of Three in an easy flowing conversation. The squares to Uranus produce the break through idea or maybe even ideas about situations you‘ve been struggling with or working on. The sextiles of Venus and Sun to the Gang of Three makes everything comprehensible and understandable. YOU GET IT! The light breaks through on a cloudy day and illuminates just the spot that holds the information like a spotlight.

On a cosmic level, it is a big week for a few other reasons. First, Mars stations to go retrograde until March 10, 2010. Second, there is a lovely new moon at a very sensitive point in the heavens. And third, Jupiter and Neptune get ready to join on next Monday, the 21st, but we feel the buildup for their conjunction this week.

Mars stationing offers a build up of stress. He wants to take action but kind of like the cartoon characters, his legs are moving in a whirling circle but he’s standing in the same place. Mars rules our drives, sex and all the other kinds. He is all about our ability to take action and go for what we want. When he goes retrograde, we lose our mojo so to speak. Plus, our Men folk get weird ~ out of sorts, not able to move forward, indecisive or reversing previously made decisions. The decisions were previously made in good faith but now the faith is questioned. Literally every choice is questioned. It is kind of a yucky transit because we live in a go-go-go culture that doesn’t value reversals, delays, retreats or obstructions. Mars is in the sign that rules what our purpose is and what we want from life so expect delays in areas that you REALLY consider to be super important to your purpose on earth. More frustration.

He goes backwards, reviewing all decisions made since mid-October. Yep, all the stuff you THOUGHT you made firm decisions on is up for reconsideration and revision. It is part of the process. It isn’t that you decided too quickly or that there was something wrong with your choice but rather NOW that he knows what he deeply wants (which happens this week), he needs to go back to get the stuff he needs to go forward. Frustrating, I know. But part of the process.

You are at the church, about to get married, and the Groom realizes he left the rings, your wedding license or his good shoes back in the hotel room. He shouts out to you “I’ll be right back!” and dashes off without a clear explanation of WHY he is bolting for the car and driving off as the church fills up with people expecting a wedding. So what to do? Do nothing. You get to wait. Sure you could call off the wedding but as you don‘t actually know WHY Mars is acting so weird. Just wait until March 10 or maybe even May 16, when he shows back up again, to see WHY he left. I know, feels like a long time to wait but in reality it goes very fast. And you can have fun chatting with the wedding guests as they come through the back of the church. They aren’t going anywhere till March or May either as their Mars took off with their car keys ~ leaving a bunch of women and children at the church waiting for Mars to return and the wedding to begin. No worries. Freshen up your makeup. Comb your hair. Get out the book from your purse and finish reading while you wait. March or maybe even May. No one is going any where fast.

The new Moon echoes the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction in December 2007 right before Pluto entered Capricorn for the first time. It takes place on the virtually the same degree and links into the New Moon in Sagittarius back then. Think back to the changes in your life since December 2007. Note how much you’ve learned and grown. We are going to have “repeat” energy this week under the New Moon of that time period. 2007 feels close but yet is still so far away if you think about how much your life has changed in the two short years. Interestingly, the configuration of the New Moon and that Jupiter/Pluto conjunction is very similar ~ bucket charts with Saturn and Mars as the handles. So we look to Saturn for the lesson in partnering, relationships and structure while Mars, as he draws to a stop, speaks to us about how we’ve built our life. This summer Jupiter will square Pluto for their crisis opening square of consciousness and connection. Jupiter wants to expand Pluto’s depth and reach. This week we become aware of how wide and deep Pluto actually IS!

The build up to Jupiter and Neptune’s union next Monday also happens this week. Good or bad, Neptune and Jupiter produce profound and transforming EMOTIONS and ADDICTIONS and OBSESSIONS and CREATIVITY and VISIONS of what you can do or be. So you can find your self terrifically depressed or blue, wandering from room to room sitting on the various pieces of furniture in each room quietly, with a blank, sad, or silent mind. Or you can find you are transported by the rapture of a brand new love and vital passion. Or it can even be BOTH! At the SAME TIME! Watch for SWELLS of emotions. That is how you know it is Jupiter and Neptune ~ waves of feeling and the deep desire to connect or the enormous sense of loneliness of living on planet earth as a human being. Very existential transit.

When we combine the potential of sadness with the Jupiter Neptune with the Mars station retrograde, we can anticipate it will be an active news week full of emotional break ups and break throughs and break downs. Think Break ~ Uranus is in the mix too. Think emotions ~ good or bad ~ and Neptune. Think REALLY BIG ~ that is Jupiter. Our less stable people will find this a difficult week to navigate and be reduced to desperate acts. Our more stable people will also find this a difficult week to navigate as the extreme nature of the emotions are hard to work with.

Think rip tide. When the red flags go up on my beach house’s ocean, the life guard whistles blow, blow, blow. In, move in, move closer to shore. Don’t go out too far. The rip tide will carry you off. Ocean swimmers are taught not to struggle against rip tides. You need to ride them out, deeper into the sea, until they begin to ebb and break apart. Or you can swim sideways to escape them. But no struggling to get back to shore. The tide is stronger than you are. You swim and swim and don’t get in any closer to shore. Rip tides of emotions this week.

Over the course of the year of 2010, I will point you back to this upcoming week as one of the more pivotal and ask you to remember the events. It will pull in the story from 2007 and tie it to now. It will carry forward as Jupiter squares Pluto in the year ahead. It will seed the emotions of the Mars retrograde. It might even tie in the story from the Uranus station on December 1st as that too is part of the story ~ even if only as a breath of fresh air or resulting change. It is a big week for Ah-has! So count them. Make sure to tell your friends to pay attention to what goes on during the week in their lives too. It is a big Ah-ha week!

Monday is a Very, VERY busy day. Lots of aspects. Lots of stuff to do. Moon in Sagittarius always has a very long to-do list. Sun squares Uranus bringing an Ah-ha! Watch for it. Sun sextiles Jupiter later in the day, offering wisdom beyond words to you about deep and profound matters. There are meteor showers so watch for them! Bits of matter breaking through the stratosphere bringing us illumination and new cosmic energy. Venus is deeply inspired upon awakening to pursue some gift of beauty or love. Listen to her gentle guidance and incorporate it into your day or life. There is a new strategy or ideas afoot that you never KNEW before. But NOW, now, you know them. Strategy is yours for the taking. You’ll be focusing on deeper or different ideas about how to plan or execute with success tactics important to your life.

Tuesday Moon in Sagittarius has lovely closing and releasing aspects. Great time to let things go and break free from your life. Sun has a bigger vision of what his dream is and sets about undertaking it in earnest. Mercury checks in on the strategy or techniques you learned yesterday to see if you really understand them. And yes, you do!

Wednesday has the New Moon in Sagittarius. Right after the New Moon, the moon goes void offering us a day long (7:02 am to 5:32 pm east coast time) day off. No, you probably won’t have the day off from work but you will be in the mood to recreate, rejoice and rest. Void moons are powerful opportunities for us to detach from the hustle and bustle of daily life and float along with our dreams. Make time to do that today. And read the New Moon column on this website.

Thursday Capricorn moon gets bold and bossy. Mars and Venus connect in a fire trine bright and early. Yesterday’s day off makes today a power house day to get things accomplished and out the door into other people’s hands. Push, push, push. Moon wakes you up a bit sad but that is okay. Note your dreams. Shake off the sadness. We call that the existential blues. Time to move. Up, Up, up! Now, with Mars stopping it may feel like you are pushing a rock up a hill and not moving at all. But you are. Good day to get projects out the door or onto your desk top for some tweaks and work as the closing aspects are lovely.

Friday is another great day with Moon in Capricorn. Although a bit blue and sad, it is productive. Push your projects and work along until 3: 07 pm east coast void moon. Great for things out the door and into other people’s to-do list or work piles. Push. PUsh. PUSH! Pluto has strategic energy galore. Watch for triangles that are unproductive or mean spirited. Remember, Mars is stopping and that makes folks feel mighty frustrated or frustrating. Sun makes amazing connections with you today. Pay attention to whom or what you meet or encounter today. They will be very important this summer. Sun pushes your energy forward or pulls in people you need to meet or know. Venus is stressed a bit about the meeting ~ she wants it to go perfectly. It will. So be calm.

Saturn’s day we find Venus aspecting Chiron and Uranus so her nerves from yesterday are a bit frayed. She’s stressed. She’s anxious. She’s crazed. She’s irritated. This is probably NOT a good day to go shopping. I know, only a week till Christmas but some days are better spent at home. I am energetically reminded of a huge fight in my family one year over hanging the Christmas tree lights on the tree! It was quite stupid and rather silly but such rage! Shouting! Yelling! Stomping! Today is such a day. So better to spend it at home with your family then out in a store with hassled clerks and harried shoppers. Trust me on this one. Stay home and decorate cookies if you can. Juno enters Aries so the fires are hot and the cookies can burn too! Careful around fire.

Sunday Mars stations to go retrograde. Thus begins our slow journey back to where he was in mid-October. Leo Mars is a proud old Mars. It wants to go but some how is having major trouble getting its act together. A giant pause. A station. A turn in the heavens. Reverse. All actions start to back up to correct, revise, revisit and redo. No problem. We get a three or five month vacation from relentless go-go-go. It is a good thing. The heavens say take a break from pushing. Ceres enters Sagittarius so the nurturing principle gets a bit looser and free, not so intense as she was while in Scorpio. The lighter energy compliments Mars stopping. Once you KNOW nothing is going to change, you give yourself and the other guy a break. Sun joins with Venus by declination and Venus joins with the Node. Pay attention to who you meet and the connections formed today, particularly those around desires, love or money. They will be very active later in the year. Venus is in closing aspect to Jupiter so the energy is quite peaceful and lovely at day’s end.

Mundane: A week on conundrums and oxymorons.

Barack Obama accepts a Nobel Peace Prize as he sends more troops into Afghanistan. The nice part about his chart is the “gottcha” aspect of Saturn and Jupiter. A big bad, a big good. A little bad, a little good. He does have a payback mechanism in that chart of his.

Tiger Woods had a FEW mistresses, not just one. Well, the Tiger has a VERY STRONG MARS ~ look at his competitive drive! Wife Elin buys a house in Sweeden in her name. A couple of Capricorns fighting is interesting to see. Land purchase! Of COURSE! Accenture, one of the more dubious consulting firms in terms of deliverables and billing practices, who made great use of Tiger as an advertising trophy, drops him like a hot potato once he’s not the wholesome fellow they thought him to be. I hope he gets to keep all their money! Tiger bows out of golf to focus on the family just when he probably should be getting out of the house more to drive golf balls! Mars in Leo rules lions and tigers! He’ll be back when Mars goes direct. I should probably write to the PGA.

The much vaunted healthcare reform bill appears to be unraveling in Congress. Have you heard ANYONE talk about taking the 30% profit out of the insurance companies’ pockets? 30 cents of every dollar is a LARGE PROFIT!! Imagine if we spent that 30 cents of every dollar on OTHER STUFF besides lining the pockets of health care executives? THAT WOULD LOWER THE COST FOR ALL OF US! The only thing that will actually lower costs is TRUE competition or legislation. Neither of which look to be surviving in the bill. Ah well. Totally Neptune/ Jupiter and Chiron ~ all that shouting and yelling about reform of health (Chiron) was a cloud (Neptune) of hot air ~ Jupiter is a gassy old planet.

The climate change conference took place with many of the smaller island nations talking about how they will disappear if the oceans rise. Totally Neptune/Jupiter and Chiron ~ wounded by water, they dissolve.

I think it's coming, and it's going to be BIG... !!

This is what she said back in November....

"God comes calling mid-December.

You have between Now and Then to get your story straight. You are in a much better place than Eve and Adam were. You have learned so much. Time to negotiate with God for a better deal. No blaming the other person or the poor snake for you doing what you wanted to do. Or not doing what you were supposed to do. Own it.

Own what you want to do. Stand proud and clear in it. It is part of your soul’s desire to create the life you dream about and of. So this week when Venus in Scorpio comes a whispering in your ear, listen, think and answer back what you would like your life to look like."

Belgz, I think this really rings true for you right now. To start your new life. With someone who treats you like gold, who is proud to introduce you to his family.

Please go for it Belgz. Go for something bright, and shiny and new.

Yes your absolutely right. I have reevaluated my goals this year and im focusing only on myself. I dont want a relationship just yet for at least 6 months so i can take time out for me, i neglected myself worrying about that loser.

I started the gym and a new different diet where i can eat healthy and feel better. So a new and shiny me hehehehe

So far it hasnt worked but im giving it time i guess. The new moon was in my 3rd house i have a court case for driving whilst disqualified hopefully that will be resolved and i will get my licence back i want that more than anything!! I hate being stuck at home without a car.
