hi everyone, i'm new here. The question i'm asking is based on an example from my own natal chart. i have my moon in taurus, the sign of its exaltation, by my moon is also in the 10th house, which is the house of its detriment. looking at these two things, and nothing else, does my moon average out strength-wise because of this? It depends on your awareness and where you choose to focus. If you are more aware of the Sign of Taurus and focus on that Sign's strengths, then the 10th House positional negativity will not matter at all. Your emotional state (ruled by the moon) can rise above it. The position of Venus will help too. Venus trine Moon will guarantee minimal negativity from the 10th House. For the sleep-walking masses, it will average out. ------------------ Soul Mate Love Calculator http://tamsoft.co.in/articles.html IP: Logged |

good point lol.i don't have moon trine venus, unfortunately..i have my moon in a tight semisextile aspect to my venus in gemini.. from what i've learned so far about the semisextile, i agree that its a growth aspect, but i've read both that its a minor positive aspect, like the sextile, and i've also read that it causes unease & indecision. I would normally look at DDs by sign and not by house. I guess going by house rulers would provide other options.IP: Logged |

Each planet belongs to a sign. With one sign on each house cusp, you get a different description for that area of life (House)You seem like Leo rising. Your Moon is ruled by the sign of Cancer, with that sign on the 12th house cusp. Working from the outside like this would provide more options for your Moon in Taurus, as opposed to just looking at the Moon by itself.
